I recommend this place to everyone. After injuring my hamstring, I started at Athletico. But after not seeing any progress for 5 months and feeling like my care was inattentive and careless, I did my research at started seeing Kayln at Dynamic. She has been phenomenal. I met Meredith back when she worked at a major Fitness Club in the city, inside their Physical Therapy Clinic. She was the manager and also their best PT. I'm wish there were more stars to give here. I met Meredith 5 years ago at a different business while trying to build strength in my hip & core to avoid hip labrum repair surgery. She was honest and emphasized exercises and building strength to the general area to see if I could avoid going under the knife. Fast forward 4 years and I eventually got the surgery with Shane Nho at RUSH (also highly recommend). I tracked Meredith down and was pleased to see she started her own business. After seeing Meredith and Mary who is on her team, I am fully recovered and up and moving again. Both Meredith & Mary were amazing. You get a full hour instead of being pressed into group times with another patient sharing your time slot. They push you with the exercises but the therapeutic approach of trigger point, stretching and dry needling are what set them aside from other PTs. They also are good people and that counts for me. I found Meredith through a recommendation from a coworker. I'm so glad I found her! She has now helped me with a couple different issues: first, my thumb/wrist, and then my lower back. She has been extremely helpful in the recovery of both of these issues. I'm very pro manual therapy/massage and she has a very hands-on approach. I think this helped a lot, especially with the wrist. Also, she helped me troubleshoot the root causes of these issues and helped me become more aware of how to avoid reinjurying the areas. She is very supportive, a great listener, and very patient. I went to Meredith by recommendation of a friend and I was terrified when I first went because I had no idea what to expect. I had been hit by a car and was emotional about everything from the experience to re-learning how to walk, but Meredith was so helpful and incredible to work with. She was understanding, kind, and pushed me in all of the right ways to get me to do the workouts, talk to her about how it was feeling each time, and increase my movement bit by bit. I have been working with Mary at Dynamic PT for a little over a month and could not be happier with my treatment! I came to her with a biking-related hip injury I sustained at the beginning of the year that was not going away with rest alone. By May, it had gotten to the point where I could no longer walk or stand for long periods of time, much less workout, without severe discomfort in my hip and side. During my first appointment, Mariy took time to get to know the nature of my injury and developed a plan to treat the pain + strengthen areas that needed it. I've seen Meredith for my ankle sprain/problems in the past. She was a miracle worker for my ankle. I panicked because I recently hurt my shoulder and wanted to see her again, but heard she left Lakeshore PT. I quickly searched online and am so happy to have found her again at Dynamic PT. Meredith is an absolute life saver! I had been having issues for a couple of months with lower back and hip pain due to a spin injury. Many other physical therapy practices I've been to over the years have a lead therapist do an initial evaluation and then hand off patients to a junior therapist to supervise exercises. I felt like I was just one more client to them and not really a person they cared about treating correctly. Ultimately this is one of the reasons why I prefer to go to Meredith. At Dynamic PT, Meredith spends the entire hour long session one-on-one with me. She makes sure that I understand the underlying bio-mechanical causes of the problem or the recovery process if it was surgery.
