I received several calls from them, none of which I personally answered. They left messages with no name. I have not talked to them yet. The person who called did NOT identify his name, and the number I dialed back said it was "transferring me." the caller ID said Cambridge, Massachusetts, but it appears after googling this that it is in another state. I have received multiple phone calls from them looking for the man who had my phone number before me. I have told them on several occasions that my number is not his number anymore and to please remove my number from the call list. They persist. Now that I've checked yelp, they will get an ear full, if they call again. These people are scammers!! They first notified me in December 2014 and called 3 times a day every single week until I finally had enough and picked up the phone in February. They informed me that I had a past due balance for a payday loan for $500.00, but that they were authorized to offer a settlement of $250.00. At first I believed them and like a fool gave my credit card information. Two days later, my credit union called me to inform me that I had 18 suspected fraud charges listed on my credit card ALL stemming from Europe! I knew then that these people were scammers and after speaking with my bank, I notified my State Attorney General. Now, these idiots have decided to try again and this time they have emailed notification that I supposedly have a balance due their client, Advance America, in the amount of $190.00, and they will accept a settlement of $57.00! I hope they can hold their breath!!!! I have already called Advance America and have been informed I am NOT anywhere in their database! claimed I owed over $2000 for a debt from 2002 - which is 11 years ago, aside from being past the 7 years that they can make attempts to collect on this debt had it been valid, they claimed this was for a citibank account. I never had a citibank account. I contacted citibank just to confirm i had not been a victim of identity theft, and guess what? the account number these SCAMMERS gave me is for Discover card! After confirming the account number, and for safe measure with my social security number with discover there infact was never any account with them, and the number they provided is not even a valid Discover account (first 4 digits ARE discover, but the second 4 digits are NOT VALID) upon calling them back to advise them that they are in fact full of shit, the chick on the phone "confirmed my identity" by PROVIDING ME with the last 4 digits of my social, instead of asking me for them!! THIS IS A FLAT OUT SCAM! My significant other has been receiving letters from this company for the past few months. When I contacted them, I was scared to know that THEY had her SS# and other valuable information. They said this was from a Credit Card she opened in 1993. We searched her credit report and there was no such company name of FIRST NORTH AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK. I will give the lady credit, she was nice and polite who I dealt with, but they are either a pawn (doubt it with the other negative postings) or they are trying to take advantage of you! I recommend the following: - Immediately file a dispute with the "collection company" - Get the name of the representative (and their boss' name too) and file a police report - Forward your information to the Better Business Bureau - Then forward everything to the Attorney General Finally, immediately contact the three major credit bureaus, and submit a letter to each of them that you were the victim of a fraud and to put a fraud alert on your credit report! Then report both Dynamic Recovery Solutions and First North American National Bank for fraud and demand they immediately open an investigation. I later listened to the voice mail, and it was a female voice who instructed me to call (844)204-5971. It was urgent that I call because it was regarding a past due bill. They called me, wanted to "verify" my address, where I worked and date of birth before they would tell me even what so-called debt this is about. I told her I was not giving out my info until she told me what company she was collecting from, she refused twice, I hung up. Advice: If these guys have the wrong person or there has been some other mistake but you give them YOUR info, YOU become the target and will be harassed with the likelihood of your credit being affected. If you are someone who has an old outstanding debt, rest assured these creeps buy old uncollectable debts that have already been charged off for some time. If you give them ANY information or interact with them in any way, the time for an old debt to drop off (7 years) could RESET and you have additional years added. I had massive medical bills 6 years ago, I have owed or owe nothing else so its pretty obvious what these creeps are trying to do--don't fall for it. They called my cellphone, no problem as it is a pay as you go that cannot be traced. These guys are worse than scum. Any reputable firm will tell you who they are representing up front, these guys do not represent any company with a bonifide debt, they are usually the last buyer of an old paper already discharged. If I could give them a zero, I would. Also if these creeps call you at home or at work, you can by law (in California anyway) tell them never to call you again. Got a call today for my boyfriend. At first the woman, Jeivis, refused to tell me anything just saying that it was an "extremely sensitive matter" and critical that he call them back. She actually called on MY cell phone (heaven knows how she got that number). He is up to date with all his credit cards and had a very old credit card written off from his divorce TWENTY YEARS AGO! These scammers clearly buy up really old expired debt and then try to pressure you into paying a debt that was written off decades ago. She didn't even want to tell me the name of the company! I called the number (850-387-0481) back and the guy didn't have any info on me by my phone #, and said he could find it with my SSN. I told him I wasn't giving that to him over the phone. I was contacted by a very rude and unprofessional person who said she was with Dynamics Recovery Solution's based out of SC. If this is true, why would a Denver area code show up. She began to tell me I owe money to Citi for a visa I opened, clearly she was unaware I was over seas. Did not make since. I asked how she found my number, which she could not answer clearly. I also asked why, while buying my home, vehicles, and having my credit monitored have I never heard of this card till now. She said the company must have never reported it to my report. Why if I owed over $800 would they not report it? This is a fraudulent company and will be reported to BBB and whatever else I need to do to assist in getting them shut down. He repeatedly wanted to confirm my social security number. I would not confirm the number. Then I told him this sounded like fraud to me. I repeatedly asked the service representative for his name, his manager's name, the company's phone number and the account number associated with the debt. This is a company that buys old "written off" "bad debt" and then harasses the "debtor" to pay. In my case they are trying to collect a wireless phone bill from 2002 from my daughter. Only problem is she was 13 years old in 2002. Does that stop these people? No. So a C&D letter with a request for validation of the debt was sent. And we'll be vigilant with the credit bureaus to see that they don't add insult to injury. We will also report their tactics to the Greenville, SC authorities, perhaps they won't want this gang working in their town. read more

I just received a call from these people and immediately I sensed they were not on the up and up. Calling me supposedly about an unpaid loan that I was paying for a year and then just stopped. I received a phone call this morning, when I listened to the voicemail it said that it was Dynamic Recovery Solutions calling to collect a debt from me. The only debt I currently have I am making payments on, so this immediately raised a red flag. I called back the original number that they called me from, when I got a representative she was extremely rude. She asked for the last four digits of my social security number, I told her that they called me and I was not giving out any of my personal information until they tell me what this is about. The representative then said the last four of my social and said 'just confirm or deny'. I AGAIN said, no. She told me to call back when I was ready to cooperate and hung up on me. When I look on the Dynamic Recover Solutions website, a different phone number is listed than the two provided by this scam. I checked my credit report, and I an not behind on any payments. There are many complaints online about this scam and they need to be stopped. Now they have my full name, phone number and my social security number; this is unnerving to say the least. read more

When I started to ask questions he got very rude and very threatening. She then asked if I resided at xyz address. I stopped her and asked whom she was and who she represented, she told me her name only, said this is an attempt to collect a debt, then once again asked if I resided at xyz address. I then responded I would like to know who I am talking to and who she represented before I confirm any more information..... ...... .... Yup she straight hung up on me... Got a call from a NYC number and the person kept asking for me. I said I would not confirm who I was until I know who this person is and why they are calling. They would not identify themselves but kept asking me who I am. The rep would not identify herself. They then asked me to verify my SS# and I said not until I know who this is and why they're calling.
