for what it's worth, after a few days I actually got ahold of a polite human being. I received a letter asking settlement of a 14 year old debt that I'm pretty sure was in error - had been paid at time of service - and never once appeared on any of my credit reports I've obtained annually over the last decade. She was helpful and allowed me to start the dispute of the debt over the phone, and advised me to contact the facility to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Now I just called the facility who tells me that there is no doubt the statute of limitations for collection has passed, and that they have a manager who is dealing with a number of calls from people contacted by DRS about bills that are not on any available records. So while the debt collection industry with it's "buy old debts and hope for a settlement" business plan is universally (redacted) at least the personnel I contacted today were professional, polite and helpful. Yes, you read that right. a not completely negative review. Yes, I'm shocked myself. I've had to deal with a few collections agencies, some were mine from the divorce over a decade ago, and some are ones trying to collect on my ex roomate (and STILL wont stop calling!) Most of them were and are completely unpleasant to deal with no matter how polite or cooperative Ive tried to be. DRS needs a better business model, at least one employee is too good to be working there. read more

This morning I received a call from them, and they were looking for my husband but asking for my social security number. Neither of us have any outstanding debt or any debt in collections. I got a call from DRS this morning. When I asked what type of company it was, she didn't answer my question and asked if I was calling from the number they called me at. I said "No", and since she wasn't answering my question as to what DRS was, I said "ok then, I will google your company" and hung up. I know I have no debt. My husband and I just got married and just bought a house. Our credit is "Golden" as our lender put it. These people called my cell phone asking for him. Weird because it's my business phone in my name and has been for years. They claimed he owed 2557 from a bank in Nevada that closed in 2013. He's never had an account with any other bank then his current one. He's only had 1 loan (vehicle) and it's paid for. He doesn't have this account they claimed. So I complained to the attorney general. I got a quick response from Dynamic that they will be closing this account. They send out fraudulent [debt] notices. The notice DRS sent to me, claimed that I owed money to a bank - A bank that I have never held an account with. I called the bank and they confirmed that I have never had an account with them, nor did I owe them anything! They even strongly suggested that I report DRS, not give DRS any information, nor contact them. DRS- Sending out fraudulent debt notices is illegal - Also - Every state has a 'time barr' - such as South Carolina - it is 3 years. That means, any debt after the 'time barr', cannot be collected. About 30 mins ago, I got a call from a caller not programmed in my phone ***412-339-2360***. Of course, because I didn't know the number, I didn't answer. They left a voicemail. A lady... she said her name was Ms. James. She never stated what company she worked for. Just asked in a demanding way that I cooperate and give them a call back. I called the number she left on my voicemail ***1-888-362-8757***. A gentleman answered in the most non-professional way ever. Sounded like I was calling some delinquent. They told me they were looking for a Brandon Winston. Since "the matter" didn't involve me the call ended. I read some of these posts, noted the numbers, and added the ones I encountered. Some a**hole just called me this morning from this "company"...they were so rude and would not let me get a word in edge wise and when I finally was able to get a question in, Mr. A**hole was so rude to me AND then hung up on me to boot. Well...I called back and got some woman named Raven (must be her pole dancer name) and she supposedly transferred me to a supervisor...well he was NOT a supervisor...his name was Ted, or so he called himself and he was eating and chewing in my ear and still I got nowhere with him...just another nasty run around. What a joke...I get the same call from them using a NY area code starting with '646' and then another number configuration...but same scum bags. They ask for somebody I've never heard of. I received a phone call 3x's from a 706 area code, but no one answers when I say hello, just hangs up on me. So upon this 4th time I decided to call the number back and it was Dynamic Recovery Solutions. As far I know I have NO DEBT with this company, not listed on my credit report and no bills received via mail. Therefore, they are calling an harassing the wrong person. It would be nice if they answered the phone from the call they made when someone saids "Hello" so the matter can be corrected. Since they have called me 4x's over a months time, I have blocked their number. They should follow Federal and State Laws and not only call, but send out notices to any debt; and when placing a call answer the phone when someone answers. If they continue to place harassing calls that causes the customer to file complaints with the FTC. My recommend anyone who is getting harassed in any manner by this company, which doesn't follow federal and state laws, to file complaints, not just reviews on here, with the FTC and BBB. read more

They called and stated I had a 6000+ dollar debt with a credit card I'd never had in my life. They had personal identifying information and otherwise would have been pretty convincing if I'd ever had a Mastercard in my life - which I have not!! These guys are nothing but scam artists and common CROOKS! I've filed a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau. They called from a local area code, which I'm sure is a common technique to get folks to answer their phones. They left no details regarding who they were trying to contact or for what purpose, so instead of calling them back, I checked this phone # on the internet. I clicked the link to Yelp, and I read some of the reviews...that was enough for me to know that I won't be bothered calling Dynamic Recovery Solutions EVER. I too got a call from a Dynamic Recovery Solutions for a debt that "THEY" say was never paid. They didnt have any information to back it up. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to have a black mark on my credit while house hunting. So I sent a check which had to be delivered before 3-12-13 in order to resolve things. I sent it certified so I would be able to track it. I sent it on 3-2-13....Its at their facility on 3-9-13.... Im either going to have to stop payment on Monday 3-11-13 or let them hold it until the date of 3-12-13 when it expires that one chance to resolve. If this happens, I will loose $519.00 and I bet they will continue to ask for more just because they didnt cash the check by 3-12-13...... Im hoping they do the right thing Monday. If its not cashed and deducted from my account on Monday afternoon-Im going to stop payment. read more

My phone has been getting tons of calls on the past week and a half, I'm talking 20 calls a day and no matter how many numbers I block they just keep calling. Some leave messages stating they are the IRS, the others don't bother leaving messages and when I pick up it sounds like a room full of people on the other end. Now I get this statement in the mail stating I owe almost $800 to some bank that is located only in Florida. I'm in CT, never had an account at this place. The red flag for me was that they were offering me a settlement, if I pay $153 today it will settle the account as paid. I would get at least one bill from them before an offer. I checked my credit report, nothing there. I know what accounts I've had in the past, this isn't one of them. I kept getting calls from this number, every day, often multiple times per day. Always ignored because it wasn't a number I recognized and they never left a message. With my background in counter-terrorism, I never answer numbers I'm not familiar with. But today I was expecting a call for a potential job so I answered the phone. Could barely hear / understand the caller, poor phone connection, but I heard the words 'Dynamic Recovery Solutions'. I hung up due to the poor connection AND due to much experience with similar scam schemes. Looked them up here and lo and behold, all the negative reviews and testimonials. I was NOT surprised. My wife and I both maintain credit scores in the high 800's and recently made a big-ticket purchase with no problem; in fact the negotiator stated "with your scores you can have whatever you want". I have gotten multiple calls from Dynamic Recovery Solutions which left voice mail to call them, but gave no reference number or contact. This is not how real collection agencies work. [[On even a real collection situation, offering to pay even one dollar restarts your debt clock-don't do it without checking your credit history first.]] THIS is NOT real, but a scam to fish for info and cases. I recently have been receiving calls from several people at this company over the past week, saying they are "debt collectors" and I need to "give them a call back today, if possible." One problem- I'm 15 years old. I've never had a credit card, bank account, or taken out a loan. I've never been involved in a civil suit. There is absolutely no god-damn way I have accrued any debt. Got a call this morning from a woman who demanded the last 4 of my ss#. I told her that I had no idea who she was so I don't think i"d be giving her that info. She then repeated her name to me, and I said, "Well that's all fine and good, but what are you calling in regards to? She refused to tell me, just kept asking that I give her the last 4 of my social. I would refuse to give my info to a stranger, she would tell me her name, and around and around the phone call went. Dynamic Recovey Solutions called me today in an effort to collect a debt for Verizon WIreless for a bill from 2002 in the amount of $2200. I have had the same Verizon account for 12 years and never paid them late. I called Verizon and gave them the account number associated with this so called debt. Verizon checked their records and told me that the account number did not exist and that I never paid them late which I already knew. The customer service person that called was rude. I don't have time for the nonsense. If they call me again I will be calling the better business bureau and a few other agencies. read more

Typical debt collector; they can be managed. They call the number given to them (happens to be mine) by someone not wanting to give their real phone number. I called them back and started to tell them I had no debt - wrong number, they interrupted me and tried to have the last word, "get a message to Jane Doe..." so they could put a check in their "contacted" block, but when I interrupted them back, yelling, "I DON'T EVEN KNOW HER" they promised to stop calling. No stars! These people have called my phone several times leaving these weird cryptic messages that make it sound very important to call back, but never say who they are or what they're calling for. I finally called to tell them that I was not who they were looking for and I asked what company they were with and the guy said "we are just a call center" and rudely hung up on me. I called back to let them know to never call me again , the lady who answered told me she would remove my number from the list but could not guarantee I would not receive any more calls. Received a letter today stating debt recovery for a VISA Credit card. Nothing on my credit report - been clean for almost 10 years. Called the # on the letter - they did eventually answer, a Mike Phillips, said it was for 1993...but they could settle today for a fraction of the original debt. I told him I have no debt - their own letter states they can't sue me for the alleged debt because of it supposed age and they can't report it to a credit reporting agency. I asked for proof. He did say he would have to contact the original creditor Cascade Capital, another company with questionable status. Why would anyone pay a debt where there is no proof, questionable origins, is not on a credit report? Just received a call from these douches using a local number. Typically I don't answer unknown numbers but thought it might be one of kids calling from a friend's phone..NOPE!! The guy asks for me by name to which I responded "Yes that is me, what can I do for you?" He then asks me my address..? When I ask who he is & the reason for his call, he refuses to say until I confirm my address. I continue to ask who he is and he continues to push for my address as if he's some sort of interrogator and then he's going to pressure the information out of me! After about a minute of this I hung up on him. He never identified himself nor did he identify the company that he was working with. I called the number back from my call log and this is the company that picked up. I have no clue as to why this individual called me? He had a horrible attitude with a very threatening tone. This company called and left me a vague voicemail saying it was a "very urgent matter", I called back and the woman that answered the phone wouldn't even tell me what it was about, all they wanted to know is if I knew someone (That someone is my wife). I kept asking what the company does and what this was about and she kept asking if I knew this person until she hung up on me. THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY A SCAM. They are very aggressive and they fish for information from you and then try to use that information against you to get you to pay for a debt that doesn't exist. My wife has had run-ins with this company before. They will threaten legal action, reporting you to the IRS, sending police to your work and all other manner of intimidation. They can actually do none of this. Even if they have all of your information, they can do nothing to you. They are not a legitimate debt collection agency, so they cannot even report the "Debt" to the credit agencies. Consider that millions of people all over the world have Tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid debt. The only thing that ever happens to them is that their credit score gets hit and they have a hard time getting loans. These people can't even do that. TELL THEM NOTHING, pay them nothing, do not return their calls and most importantly: report them to the FTC as soon as they call you. read more
