Took in my bike today because the rear brakes were locked up and was informed that unfortunately their main bicycle technician is out of town and there is about 2 weeks of back log. The gentleman who informed me of this asked me what I was bringing it in for. I said the rear brakes were locked up, so he helped me disassemble it, find where the problem was, and rectified the situation within 5 minutes. Shook my hand and told me to enjoy the summer weather. Got to register and it came up as the original price. Had to get a manager "Josh" involved and he offered $10 off because he could not lower the price and admittingly made a mistake on the sticker. They even made accusations that someone in the back had already spoken to us about the "wrong tag" price. In order to cover for their mistake by someone in the shoe dept. In my experience as a loyal customer in other stores, More than often said store will acknowledge their mistake and honor the stickered price in order to maintain a good relationship with their loyal customers. Needless to say we walked out and they lost a sale and possibly a customer going forth. I at least will NOT be patronizing the Naperville store again for my needs.
