I didn't realize this business has been around for at least 7 years, based on all the Yelp and Google reviews going all the way back. I only knew the place existed because I pass it nearly every day on Kapi'olani. I'm assuming they had re-located from a different address. As soon as I saw the sign go up, I was intrigued. The windows are all covered up with shades so my husband and I immediately joked that it was probably a front for another type of "business." Over time, I noticed that newer reviews started rolling into their Google Map page. One of the reviews indicated that our joke was not far from the truth, but it was one negative review out of dozens of positive reviews. I decided to check them out today since I was in need of a massage. I called 15 minutes in advance and told me to come in. When I arrived, I tried to open the double doors that appear to be the front entrance. However, the doors were locked. Just as I was about to give them a call, I heard the door unlocking and then eventually opened up. It turned out those doors lead to their employees' area; the front entrance is actually towards the back where the parking lot is. Because I live nearby, I had walked over and I wasn't even aware that there was a parking lot behind that set of buildings. Asian-owned massage places are a dime a dozen in Honolulu, and I've tried about 10 places so far. But that's only because I have a regular place that I like and keep going back to, so they remain my standard. Unfortunately, the massage I got just did not meet my standards. The technique that the therapist used was a mix of everything: Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, stretching, and she even used her nails at one point. Although they have reflexology listed on their price menu, what I got was just a foot massage. Albeit, a good foot massage. The best part of the entire massage was when she worked on my feet and calves. It felt like she had found every single little muscle in my foot and worked out all the kinks. I'm currently pregnant and have been experiencing swelling in my feet, and Andy's technique provided real relief. Gosh aging sucks!! Still nursing the stiffness and pains from a broken ankle and work related kinks I'm just one massive knot that desperately needs to be untied!! Really thought of just getting a foot massage, at the last moment decided to got for the combo of 30/30 minutes of body and foot for $60 since I wanted to see how each was done. Started with the usual foot soak and waited awhile for my masseuse since I was a walk in I guess and was asked if I wanted a male or female which I had no preference for. It was a male and he asked if I wanted a soft, medium or strong massage and I went straight for strong...gah!! I tell you he went into my bones and many will probably be like WOAH! which I said in my thoughts a few times but omg it was STRONG! This is not your typical Lomi style you can hear and feel all the knots ooh!! He sure gotten much of it out and knows what he's doing, I'd go longer next time. Pretty good foot massage place. Ample free parking. We walked in and only waited 15 min. We did not have private rooms as there was 4 massage beds in the room we were in. We also didn't ask for a couples massage. We both did the Yelp special of $40 for 1 hour reflexology (foot massage) which comes with free hot stones and a 5 min shoulder massage. This is super worth it for basically a lower body massage with emphasis on the feet. You start off with a foot soak in hot water. It was a little too hot for me so they added some cold water to cool it down. The temp was fine for my husband. Then they asked what kind of pressure you want. It was hard to understand but I think they were trying to say hard, medium, or soft. The sounds of water trickling was a little too loud for me to hear. You leave all your clothes on and they cover you with a sheet. I wore a dress and it was just fine. Then they massage every aspect of your feet. They go into your arches and rub out any knots. Repeatedly. They go in between the toes and pull the toes. They do your Achilles area. And then they do your calves and quads. The hot stones were done on the feet and the calves. They also stretched me out a little bit and put my leg across my body to crack whatever they needed to crack. Apparently I fell asleep multiple times. Although when they were working out some of my knots, I definitely had to grit my teeth. Then they concluded us finished, but we didn't get a shoulder massage so I asked the front desk about the Yelp special and they apologized and promptly sat us back down and gave us the 5 min shoulder massage that included neck, mid back, arms, and hands. The foot massage was definitely something we would recommend for anyone who spends time on their feet and needs some of their knots kneaded out. Just based on the shoulder massage, I would also want to go back to try a body massage. read more

Let me start off by saying Don't let this places name fool you! They do a lot more than just foot massages! I suffer from chronic shoulder (traps) and lower back (deteriorating disc)pain. My friend knows this and highly recommended Steve that works here. I thought I asked for the 70 min massage but he went a lot longer because he knew how tight I was so I was all for it. Upon meeting Steve I tried to tell him where I was sore but he said I know(?) that was a first. To my surprise tho, he did! He found all my knots and really went at them. I was lucky as it was empty when I got there so I was able to get a 30 minute foot massage with out waiting. They also has 2 large screen TVs so clients can watch TV if they wanted to. My foot massage began with a warm water feet soak. The massage great.
