Stopped in with family to get a massage here. My mom had a Groupon for the location and had recommended Elegance Day Spa. It did not disappoint! The parking structure is difficult to find but located toward the back of the building. The ambiance with soft & serene music could be heard melodically throughout the spa & stunning with the beautiful array of hanging flowers that mirrored the title in its name of Elegance and beauty. Upon arrival we had to use the bathroom first which was outside and upstairs in the building. I want to put in a good word for Dustin who was most helpful providing excellent customer service with escorting us to the bathroom to show us the location. I was fortunate with having him do my hot stone massage as well. The professionalism and personable demeanor as well as having very skillful hands with the accommodations of pressure provided the most relaxing massage. The hot stones were a nice addition. Being a mom to a toddler having these nice vacation breaks are so important and valuable. Excited to return and try the different massages offered. read more

I hate to write this review because the ladies were so nice but it was absolutely the worst massage I have ever had, and I have a bad back and get lots of massages. First there's no forms to fill out with areas of concern they just ask you what you want them to focus on and how much pressure. Normally you have a little of the elbows and forearms in the beginning of the message and I know it's not comfortable but it loosens up the muscles for the real massage. It was the entire time, elbows grinding into tight muscles and forearms sliding across bone. I kept thinking we will be moving in to the real massage soon, we never did. 90% of the massage was the back my neck was barely touched, very little time spent in legs or arms and because we got a package that had a scalp massages d foot scrub no time was spent on massaging head, neck or feet. The scalp massage was great, hence the 2 star for how nice they were when we came in and the scalp massage. The hot stones were suppose to be 15 minutes but it was barely 5, the foot scrub was just perfunctory and basically a scrub rubbed on your feet with no emphasize on certain dry areas (my big toes need extra scrubbing and they always do that at pedicures) and no real massaging of the foot. The hand foot and head part of the massage is the best part and we got none of it other than the extra scalp part we paid for. Before we started I mentioned I had a large bruise from yesterday on my shin from running into a metal chair. The first time the area was rubbed I mentioned that's the area, I received a response of "oh ok" and she proceeded to go back to the spot and massage even harder as I pulled my leg away. When I put my leg back she went right back to the same spot. The bruise is the size of tow golf balls side by side, it's large and can't be missed not to mention I said something 3 different times. I have never had a massage where I was sweating through it, had to deep breathe through the pain and was counting the minutes till it was over. Every time she lessened the pressure and I though she would stop with the digging elbows and forearms she would ask if the pressure was ok and I would breath a sign of relief and say yes, then right back to the digging elbow and forearms which was not ok. I pulled away multiple times, I was heavy breaking I said ow several times. When we turned over nothing was out under our necks and the ankle bolster was the only thing under my knees. I have a bad back I kept bending my knees she kept putting them back down. I said I need something under my knees she left the room I thought she was getting something but she was not. She left the massage 4 times for other customers coming in or someone at the door. At one point when she left the room I tried turning to my side to elevate the pain in my back but when she came back she immediately pulled my leg back down on the table. At the end of the massage I couldn't get off the table. I had to get on all fours and try to stretch my back. By the time I walked the 5 minutes to the restaurant we planned for lunch I was in so much pain I was in tears. We are here a week, we wanted to come back and get a head spa treatment and my oldest daughter wanted a spa day. We chose this location because our normal go to location moved too far away and this location had such great reviews. Our experience was not great and we did a $220 package per person. I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. We were a little late to the appointment because parking was difficult, but it turns out they have a parking lot around the side of the building. We ended up finding street parking not too far away though. They were so welcoming when we arrived. The place was clean and the decor was nice. They walked us into the room, allowed us time to change (never rushing us even though we were late), and still gave us the full 50 minutes. We both like a lot of pressure and they definitely accommodated our requests. My fiancé has had a bad knot near his neck and they really worked on it to try to relieve his pain. Newly opened spa. Found this place by recommendation of my cousin and saw an amazing Groupon deal for a couples hot stone massage, which we were looking forward to after a long bike ride. This place is one of the storefronts in the Waikiki Landmark. They have a parking structure inside which they offer validation for. Ruby immediately welcome us. I'm embarrassed to say but I had to reschedule this appointment three times and each time Ruby was nothing but gracious and kind. We were even a bit late and she could've been upset with us for my mistiming but she was super gracious and turned what could've been a stressful experience to a positive one. The spa was beautiful and calming. We were shown to the room where Ruby and Anna set to work on us. They asked us for our pressure preference and my husband said that his request for light pressure was perfectly followed and my request for light-medium was as well. Ruby checked on me a few times to make sure the pressure wasn't too much which was very thoughtful. This was one of the best massages I've ever had in my life. Every knot seemed to have been taken care of and there was a lot of attention to detail. I hope this place gets more followers like my cousin and now my husband and me. But this place completely changed that for me. My partner got a foot massage add-on and I got the neck and shoulder add-on, and both of us walked out feeling amazing. The pressure was spot on. Not too light, not so deep it hurts. That balance is hard to find and they nailed it. The value is crazy sweet. In theory. Roughly 90$ before taxes for a 50-minute couples massage per Groupon. . Location is easy to find. Follow Google Maps. Validated parking available from the salon, but please still expect to pay roughly 9$ to exit. Credit card only, no debit or cash. Payment only accepted at the exit. . Location is very beautiful. Tastefully put together. The rooms are hollow with walls not extending all the way up - meaning you can hear other customers, the staff, and about every other noise the salon might include. Rooms and temperature is hot. Unbearably hot. No fans or central AC to be felt. . Staff were OK. Waited 15 minutes past the scheduled time to be shown the room because the previous customers took forever to exit. They didn't really know how to do prenatal massages. Deep tissue wasn't that deep. Hot stone massage wasn't very relaxing, they just rubbed the stones on you. They would also leave you half exposed during the course of the massage. Not comfortable or professional. . Tipped in cash but that process took an additional 10 minutes. That includes the processing time for the Groupon coupon, getting change, etc. . I tried their package with a sugar scrub, mud & coconut body wrap, and a relaxing hair treatment during the wrap -- everything felt so luxurious.
