Went here for an impromptu wax, so this will be a quick review. It is only street parking, but there were plenty of vacant spaces. I paid $15 cash for eyebrow, lip, and chin wax. My waxer cleaned me up! She brushed, trimmed, waxed, and tweezed. She used oil first to pick up residual wax then went back with alcohol to make sure I was clean. The result? So it's a little after 11 a.m I decided why not try a new nail shop. I get to the nail shop there are two people one doing a pedicure, the other curled up on the couch with a cover. After the lady doing the pedicure finally gets off her phone call she asks me what I want I tell her a full set. She say "oh I don't have time" " I'm the only one here today". Very nice, extremely attentive staff. Walked in to receive a regular mani-pedi. Two staff were available to help me. One worked on my feet, the other on my hands. They were meticulous, very detailed, took their time to be very good to my poor cuticles. I have just moved and my nails definitely needed some TLC. The shop is clean. The prices are good too. The location is in a questionable part of Vallejo and the nail shop itself is not high end. However, the prices are so awesome and the quality of work is insane. Go see Susan, the owner. I was referred to her by my best friend who's been going to her for years. She's fast, friendly, meticulous, detail oriented, very sanitary and careful. Had gel french tips done for $25 (not including tip). Super cheap and the work is beautiful. It's been a month and my nails haven't chipped, fallen off, and are still shiny. So we decided to go to Dynasty after many years because we have been running out nail shops in Vallejo and upon entering it was not appealing everything looked out of date and there was no nail polishes; The lady's were rude speaking in their language should have made me leave, she didn't offer gel and clearly something was wrong because it smelled like chemicals like I needed to bring a mask. My daughter got a full set that was fat, uneven not enough acrylic and one nail broke the next day and a second not even a week later. I came here on a Tuesday and by Friday 2 nails had broke...not for reasons that I was doing strenuous work but from opening my fridge the nails just popped off...I went to get the. Repaired was charged, no big deal but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't have been charged. While i was there there were other individuals there getting repairs done, so it wasn't just me and we all got charged at one point the nail woman started an argument w/ a customer. Phoung, who I have gone to every 3-4 weeks for at least the last 5-7yrs does an absolute amazing job. Went there a few times all was good .. keep in mind always call and make appointment so I can avoid the bs I went through yesterday.. I called for 11:30 fill in and pedicure.. came out nice lady struggle to do a design.. and I was in there for almost an hour and half just to get my pedicure.. so pedicure was finish and folks continue to walk in a get service ASAP while I'm sitting here waiting for my refill!?! They seemed to be usual busy people because they turned away at least 4 walk-ins and their phone was ringing off the hook. The actual washing of my feet, trimming of my toenails, etc was good. It was the actual paint job I didn't like. I felt it wasn't going to be that good because she had me put my feet on her knee to paint my toes, and I was right. There was another young lady there getting hearts on her nails, (for Valentine's) and I actually liked the job. But I'll only go back there for a regular mani, w/ clear polish. Nothing more. I was calling around to drop in for a fill and the woman on the phone said if I came right away she could take me. The place is small and there were 2 women working at the time, one doing nails and the other doing pedicures. My nails came out decent. I decided since I was there I wanted to get a pedicure and honestly, that was nothing special. The woman soaked my feet for about 10 minutes then scrubbed them for a few minutes and started painting...no hot stones, no hot towels, nothing. I will say, the woman that does the nails (I believe she's the owner) is very very sweet so I would return for the service if I needed something last minute but just for a basic fill (color only). read more

I knew coming here that it would be a no-frills place, especially since they were really cheap, but I decided to try this place out based on a couple word-of-mouth recommendations and the 2 good yelp reviews... but man! this place is dirty! I had a french mani and pedi with a design done and it cost me $30 bucks and a WASTE of $30 bucks is what it was! My mani didn't even last 3 days and the lady even used the UV top coat so that it would "last longer". Oh and here's the best part - when you're called to have a seat at the pedi-chair, the chair should be ready, right? So why when I sat down and put my bare feet in the little tub, was the water COLD?? EWW. I quickly took my feet out and then the lady came back and THAT'S WHEN SHE STARTED TO DRAIN THE DIRTY/USED WATER AND STARTED TO "CLEAN" THE TUB. AND BY 'CLEAN' I MEAN THAT ALL SHE DID WAS TAKE SOME DIAL HAND SOAP AND PUMPED SOME INTO THE WATER, SHOOK IT AROUND SOME, AND THEN RINSED IT. All while I was sitting there with my contaminated feet dangling in front of her. GROSS. This place needs to be reported. read more

So I was told how great it was here by my friends on Facebook and even my boss. I thought what the heck.....ummm, yeah. The moved into a bigger place and it looked nice inside (like anyother nail shop) and I was able to get in right away. I didn't think they did a good job on my toes at all. There is like 2 nails that they didn't even file, and I had to fix myself. They had me thinking I was going to get free art work, and I didn't. I also got a waxing and they missed alot of hair, and once again I had to fix it myself. Everyone there was friendly and the pricing was a little high (I walked out of there feeling like I just got ripped off). I'm willing to give them one more try, since it's by my home and I still think that my friends might be on to somthing. Just left from getting a pedi and it was nice. It was a very calming environment with nice young women. Lisa was so sweet and gentle with me. She also took her time and didn't rush when more than 4 people came in and it got busy. Their also very affordable I got a regular pedi with Sea Salt cost: $20 total. They told me to come back for an appointment the following day. Cool no problem I'll be back. Wish I didn't. My nails are FUGLY. Lilly is the sweetest but man she did a horrible job. My nails look nothing like I asked. Even showed her a picture and she assured me " yes I can do that." Ugh! Crooked, uneven, tips are either too big or too little for my nail beds... but this is what took the cake. I had a NON-EXPIRATION DATE GIFT CERTIFICATE. I asked the day before I came back if I could use it. Again I was told "yes." WRONG! So after I got duped into getting that $$$$$ gel polish and it was time to pay, of course they hit me with the " date is too old". I hate greed and how they did me was pure greed. They were paid for a service that I had to end up swiping my card for double of what the gift certificate was. Not to mention crappy nails and a good tip... I will never go back there.
