Vallejo nail salons are open for business! I guess they've been doing a better job at flattening the curve than Alameda county. I was a little skeptical going at first but my feet were in dire need of some pampering so my friend and I went over to get some pedicures. As native Vallejoans, we used to come here to get our nails done when we were younger so it was a blast from the past. We gingerly entered and saw all the customers and staff wearing masks with service provided on every other chair. I decided to add on the leg and foot massage with the pedicure - I mean go big or go home right? I got a male Pedicurist and he was excellent! He was a nice older Vietnamese man who knew what he was doing. He cleaned my cuticles, trimmed my nails, gave a firm and relaxing leg/foot massage with some nice lotion/oil, and professionally painted my nails in the lovely teal color that I chose. I examined the quality and was pleased- I always envy (no pun intended!) why I can't emulate the same quality myself. I felt like a new person afterwards - it had been so long since I've gotten some self-care. Total cost was $35 (plus tip). Definitely recommend Envy if you're in the Vallejo area and need some nail love!

I took my girl there for her first time nail treatment and she loves it but after 2 days, they're fallen apart. It sure does not worth $50! She is so disappointed!!!

The lady that started my pedicure coughed on my feet, I asked her to put on a mask, she refused. She had her coworker come over and continue the pedicure instead and walked off with an attitude. The coworker has her mask half down as she sound like she is sick also. She also cut me while cutting my cuticles to the point I was bleeding and still was using the buffer like she didn't see the blood so I told her about the blood and she just put the buffer on her cart so that goes to show their tools aren't clean. Then she forgot to give me a massage on my feet and i told her and she rubs my feet with an attitude and no lotion or nothing for about 30 seconds and tells me that's all she's doing and I must've wasn't paying attention. First time here and Will not be back.

I've been coming to Envy for over 5 years and they went under new ownership a couple of years ago but what keeps me coming here are my favorite nail technicians that know exactly how I like my nails. Amy and Anne are my girls! I always ask for appointments with them and I just easily call that morning and am able to get in sometime during the day. I always come for a gel or dipping powder manicure and pedicure. I love their pedicure chair massages and it definitely feels safe and clean. Not sure if it's appointment only but a lot of the usuals usually call and I have seen people walk in and be helped immediately.

DO NOT GO!! I went here over the weekend ( last minute) . I went for a manicure and pedicure. They started the pedicure first and the chair was nasty full of nail chips.. and when he started the pedicure he was using old tools that still had skin in it from the previous customer,I brought it to his attention and he got a new tool but kept all the other used tools. I got the deluxe pedicure but could not enjoy it because everything was so filthy. Later I noticed the glass bowls they use to soak nail are not cleaned they pour out the water and place the bowls back. When I got my nails done I had previous dip powder and the guy was frustrated. Now the nails came out ok, it was what I asked for but tools was nasty. I see one guy in there doing acrylic and all his sets was nice but DO NOT GO for mani/ Pedi. I feel like I need antibiotic just walking out that place.

I want to give a 0 but I can't, so i give you a one. Got charged extra because he made a mistake on my nails and had to redo. Was charged $85 dollars for a fill. Last 2 fills were $45.

Absolutely love my nails. I decided to try some place new and something new. I've been going to the same place for over 10 years, so it was really had to decide on going someplace new. But I really like the job and quality of service Ken provided. My pedicure was a little sloppy (the polish) and I don't think they file your nails. But either way I'm satisfied and I'll be back.

Horrible service the lady nail technician and I got in to an argument because she messed up on my nails and she continued to argue being super disrespectful to my 9 month old. I snapped back told her to do her job since I'm paying her to and she needs to work with the customer since that's her job title. We argued back and forth told her to take it off and I'll leave she messed up so bad I went to another nail salon winter nails to fix her job. My nails were so uneven not shaped just crappy and on top Of that she cut me 2 times and said she didn't do it. This place needs to get shut down or have better employees.

I called and made an appointment. Service was great! They were busy but the wait time was not long at all. The gentleman who did my pedicure; he did an amazing job. The massage was amazing. Just an FYI: bring cash; they don't use cards at all. You can also use Zelle as payment too. I used Venmo; which worked out perfect. read more

I've been between my place and my man's. Decided to go here out of convenience for a mani and pedi before our trip to Hawaii. The service was great. The prices were reasonable. The downside for me was designs aren't their strong suit. But based on my overall experience this could be my go to when I'm in Vallejo. read more

The nail techs here never miss! I am happy with my gel manis and pedis EVERY TIME! The techs are friendly and they really take the time to clean my nails and around it. One reason I gave them 5 stars is because for gel, other techs I've had at different shops will clean up the polish spillage after they've completed it. Fong was correcting it as she painted!! This keeps the nails on for a while! No peeling off or chipping. I don't have to worry about it getting snagged in my hair when I shower. LOVE. Same with my toes! Quality of work is so much better than other salons. Yes - I said what I said. The only reason I go to other salons is because of convenience..either they're close to where I am at the time or not open early enough but I really know better. I won't nail cheat again. The price is reasonable and you can walk in but I always call ahead to make sure I don't wait. read more

I came in here to get a gel removal. The pricing for this service is posted as "$7-$10 and up" and the service took maybe a half hour, if that. Once the service was done, they charged me $30 for it... I understand the price says "& up" but that is 4x the starting price of $7. That's ridiculous for just a removal with a nail drill. That's almost the cost of a full manicure. When I asked why it was $30, I was told "that's the right price" with no further context. I have no idea where that number came from. I will NOT be returning here and should've listened to the reviews. read more

Envy by far is the best place in Vallejo. Great option for a simple pedicure manicure with no frills, but also allows for a "treat yourself day" when you're looking for something more The parking is plentiful and if you go on a Friday, you will likely have to wait even with an appointment if you're looking for a great place to have a good experience at a reasonable price of this is the spot. read more

I got a gel manicure done 6 days ago. 3 stars for being able to be seated right away and for the quick, clean and friendly service. I also really love the pale blue color. They looked so good when I walked out. Dropped 2 stars because today, I noticed 2 of my nails already have chips in the gel so I'm missing some corners. I'm used to gel manicures lasting for 2-4 weeks without chips, so I'm a bit disappointed. read more

Called and made an appointment over the phone for Fong, waited for 10-15 minutes while she's doing other customers. She called me to sit while she was preparing the things she needed. When she came back, and was about to start, a lady came in, Fong asked me if somebody else can do my nails because she has another customer that came. I find it rude and disrespectful. She just wasted my time and my gas. This is not so right! She shouldn't schedule me that time if she knows she cannot do it in the first place. Well in fact , she always does my nails all the time. Oh well, it is what it is. I will not go back to this place anymore. Not a good place to get service. Let's respect each other's time!‍ read more

Came in for a gel pedicure and while I was seated right away and everyone was friendly the end results were haphazardly done nails with little consistency - there is paint all around my skin and overall no shape. I am not certain how clean the tools were as they were not new or even coming out of any sanitizing solution after the tech finished she rinsed them off and threw them back in her tool box. Also no attention was given to the soles of my feet and I walked out with them as dry as when I walked in. Not worth the $50 spent. Back on the hunt for a decent nail salon in Vallejo read more

Loved this place prior . But when someone goes in for a mani and pedi , they go in expect decent if not , good work right ? My two main girls left , and quality is terrible . My whole pedi was rushed , I went during a pretty slow time. It looks like a child painted it. What do you guys think ? My nails are short by job , not my choice lol . read more

Really took the time to perfect my nails and my pedicure. Very sweet people. Hands down the best full set I've gotten. It was shaped perfectly. It's not crooked and not too thick or thin. You could tell they really cared and wanted to give you exactly what you were looking for. I'm just upset I have been going somewhere else for so long when this place was right here and closer to me! read more

Probably the most painful visit i've had to any nail salon. I went in to get my acrylic nails removed and a new set. The lady removed my nails by prying them off with another nail tip which I'm positive is how you SHOULDNT do it. While gluing on my new nails she had to keep applying more glue bc it dried too fast. Asked for coffin shape and it's more square, when she was sanding my nails she cut my finger and i was bleeding. To continue with the shape problems, everything's really uneven and angled weird, and there were gloops of acrylic stuck underneath the nail. My nail technician also left for probably 10-15 minutes in the middle of it to deal with another customer. It hasn't even been an hour since leaving and the polish is already smudging off. It feels like the tips are gonna break off at any second, I don't think there is any support on them. The second she started ripping my nails off was when i regret coming here in the first place, I should've left right after that. Will not be coming back. read more

Updated: 10/09/17 I have slowly faded away from being a client here just to the fact that it's always busy, they never had time when I had the availability to go get my nails done and I hated that every time I went it there was always someone new who I didn't want working on me. And then to top it off, I checked my Facebook messenger and see this pending messages from their OWNER. How unprofessional and very immature. This is the icing of the cake that I would never let myself or any member of my family to return here since he cannot conduct business properly. If I could honestly give them no star, I totally would. I've been coming to Envy for years! David is amazing and efficient with his work. His girls are always friendly too. I always call ahead to make an appointment because I for one don't like to sit and wait or arrive just to be turned away because they are too busy; bcoz they sure can get pretty packed. read more

I don't get my nails done often, and it's been almost 10 years since I've gotten acrylic nails, so I was a bit hesitant to get them done. I found Envy via Yelp because of its high reviews, and Yelp did not disappoint! David showed excellent skill and customer service as he quickly but expertly did my nails. I came to him with a somewhat difficult request, and not only did he meet it, but he also offered suggestions on other designs along the way. He showed care in my nails and me as a customer, and I'd highly recommend him to anyone! read more

I love David. He hand shapes my nails perfectly every time. I used to go to him years ago and changed professions and couldn't have acrylics, but I've changed again and I'm back. He's only become better.nd always has all the new products. His shop is super clean too. I always get my pedis there too. I am never disappointed at envy. And it's always a recommendation when someone asks me for a good shop. Pic attached is a full set, coffin shape, copper cat eye. November 5, 2017 Btw. Ken, did my nails today. He seemed to be a bit bothered. I asked for David thats who my appt was with initially. He had another obligation and had to step out. The ken, guy asked if I could come back at 2pm and I told him I have other things to do and I can not. So, he said sit down I will do them. Overall his attitude not very pleasant. Like he didn't want to do my nails. I paid 50.00 and tip nail paint was left on my some of fingers and powder residue. I asked to get help with getting it off and he said it will come off when your wash your hands. it's fine I will go back and have David fix them for me if possible or else find another nail salon. I came here for the first time with my boyfriend. I got a fill and pedicure he got a mani pedi. My manager recommended this place to me and told me to request David to do my fill. I originally had only made an appointment to just get a fill but while David was doing my nails he said they could fit me in for a pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure did a great job. David was able to fix my nails since the last person who did them had the shape completely wrong. One of my nails was crooked and he was able to correct it. I had broken one of the nails when I rolled up my pants for my pedicure and he fixed it free of charge. Overall I had a great experience here. It was clean and affordable. I recommend David if you are getting a full set or a fill. read more

I made an appointment this time & I was seated shortly. This will be my third time coming to this place. Overall, I was pleased with my nails. I got a gel manicure and it lasted for almost two weeks. The only thing is they never give me enough time to pick a color. They would give me their sample colors then proceed on doing my nails. I get that you're trying to get a head start but how can I chose properly when one of my hand is held as I awkwardly go through the color samples with my other hand... The nail tech was nice though and she wasn't rough on my nails. Also, I appreciate that their nail techs listen. Based from other reviews, I think this place is either a hit or miss, depending on who did your nails and the nail tech's mood. I do wish they are consistent. I say give them a try if you have money to spend, but if you're on a budget, maybe think about it before you spend your money. read more

I am SOO happy with my nails! Ken is quick, yet takes his time, very efficient, & did such an amazing job!! He is by far the best nail tech I've been to since I've lived in Vallejo. Also I was greeted right away when I came in and given the color palette to choose a color and luckily Ken had just finished a customer so I was seated in no more than 5 minutes. I've also gotten the French ombre by a couple other nail techs before and Ken has done them the best!!! I don't get my nails done all the time anymore, but definitely gonna make this my go to now. read more

Disappointed! Never had a worse done job on my nails! I go there at 10-10:30 and someone started on my nails, by 11 someone else took over, the lady was answering phones and multitasking and doing my nails on slow motion, not even joking or exaggerating, I couldn't believe how slow she was applying the base polish before you dip into the powder../ anyways, because she was taking so long and multitasking I told her I needed to leave by 12pm because I had an appt. well that didn't help, she continue to be extremely slow, we finally get to the end a little after 12 and she tells me I'm done, mind you she barely put the last layer on, so I ask her TWICE if I was dry and she said YES. So I paid, was trying to be careful just in case I wasn't dry all the way. I got in my car and drove like 2 minutes and decided to check my nails and OMG I should have NEVER paid. Worst job I've ever seen anyone do. I called the next day when I had time and asked for a refund and of course they denied. Unfortunately I don't have another 3 hours to do to your shop and sit there while you do a horrible job again. I went to Ecopolish in Napa today and they fixed me right up.. the pictures don't even do justice on how bad this job was! read more

i found this nail salon on yelp, and all the reviews are so true, the place is soooo nice and clean, doesn't look like a typical vallejo salon, its has a relaxing upscale look .the girls gave me a pedicure,and i watched them take new medical bags out from a uv cabinet with clippers an pushers in it, the pedi was so nice and they didnt rush through it like most nail shops do,got and incredible foot massage ,and they have this thing called dipless parafin, thats when they put that parafin wax in a bag then put your feet in the bag, so we dont have to dip it in that box, made my feet so soft and moist ,then when done they actually threw away the files and buffers, wow firts time i've seen that,really clean, they guy .david kept me laughing the whole time .him and the girls are so nice and polite,they really show that they valued my bussiness, you should really go try them out ,trust me ,you'll love it and will come back, i sure am!! read more

wow, i was just passing by when i noticed this new salon,so i went inside to get a fullset,and a pedi geuss what ,they do 3-d nails, first place in vallejo, wow, so i asked for a set three different crystal colors and airbrush on top ,then flowers and rhine stone on top of that, hella hella nice,the shops real clean and they use different clippers and pushers on every client, i mean they keep sets in hospital type medical bags, which are placed in a uv cabinet, and the trow away used files and buffers after each client, that's what i call clean, and the workers are so nice and polite , i would get 10 stars if i could, would difinetly come back with my mom and friends, and the prices were really cheap, my nails look great , thank you envy!!! read more

I went here based on the ratings and pictures I found here on Yelp. I loved it!!! The owner (Dave I think) did my nails and he did an excellent job. I wanted something new so I ended up getting glitter gel nails, Dave suggested that because I use my hands a lot that they would be more durable, as opposed to just painting them. He used two different colors and faded up the nail, it came out above and beyond what I had expected, he even threw in a free nail patteren on top of my nails!!! The salon is very clean and organized as well. I had an appointment but it seemed like they were working everyone in without problem. I will never go back there again and if i do i will never let LEE do my nails she did a horrible job and would not listen to what i wanted. I simply wanted to get a fill with painted white tips.. I was charged $23.00 for a FILL and $7.00 for a polish change i am normally a great tipper but she overpriced herself right out of a tip. THe day after i got my nails done the entire acrilyc part of my nail completely chipped off i went in an had it repaired by hannah who did a good job, but sadly the next day another nail did the same thing. If I could choose no stars I would. The lady cut my toe in between my nail and skin. I have had puss and blood coming from the wound for a week. It makes wearing shoes pretty painful. Just walking around hurts, lots of time I can feel my heartbeat in my toe pulsing. I never write reviews on yelp or complain about bad service, but this experience is pretty horrible so I felt obligated as I am also a service provider. They sneakily charge an extra $1 for credit cards. They do not tell you until you are about to pay. Go somewhere else, this is illegal in California. They have this little piece of paper on the counter where you are about to pay and point to it with an unfriendly look. This place is good! Hannah fixed my nails from another salon! The last salon I went to refused to give me a gel manicure without a full acrylic set. David did a terrible job on my nails. He is very rude. He was hitting on me and I felt so uncomfortable. The gel chipped off once I got home. Wasted my money. This place has no professional manner. Later received a message from either the owner or an employee threatening legal action and accusing me of writing fake reviews and working for a competitors salon. Couldn't reply as I was blocked right after the message was sent. read more

I have have been coming to Ken for a long time to get acrylic nails since he is in Pinole. He is a really good nail technician that I ever go to. He does what you like and sometime he will give you some advice on your nails. read more
