We ordered several high-end appliances for a full kitchen remodel through Edelman Plumbing Supply,…read moreincluding a BlueStar range. From the date of selection, it took roughly 16 weeks for the products to finally arrive, far longer than expected. The range was delivered on October 10th, placed in front of the kitchen opening, and the installation team returned on October 13th to complete the setup. Unfortunately, the BlueStar range arrived damaged from the manufacturer, so the installation couldn't be completed. To her credit, Pam worked hard to find a replacement and communicated a plan, but due to their limited staffing, the next available install date wasn't until October 27th. That means not only the range, but all the other appliances left unfinished from the October 13th visit, are now delayed again. For a company that commands premium pricing, the quality control and installation coordination are extremely disappointing. You can spend a lot of money here and still end up waiting months with no function. I would not recommend Edelman Plumbing Supply for appliances, delivery, or installation. The process is frustrating, slow, and poorly managed.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -

We purchased nearly an entire home's worth of kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures from…read moreFerguson during a full remodel several years ago. At the time, the purchase was substantial and we received excellent service from Rick Ritt and had recommended him. Sadly, we were unable to work with Rick on this most recent visit. We returned to the showroom for another project and were honestly shocked by the experience. Multiple employees were sitting at their desks without any customers, scrolling on their phones--one clearly on Facebook--yet we were told we could not be helped because we didn't have an appointment and would need to come back the next day. In a retail showroom. While staff were visibly doing nothing. This level of arrogance and indifference toward customers is astounding. We made an appointment and returned the next day. Made our purchase. The service didn't improve after the sale either. One of the faucets we purchased from Ferguson--around $500--turned out to be defective when our plumber installed it. Because of the timeline of the remodel, it had been about 90 days since the order. I reached out to Ferguson for help with the return or replacement and was completely ghosted after they said "we will reach out to manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done'. No follow-up, no assistance, no accountability. If you read the other reviews online, this seems to be a pattern. Ferguson appears very eager to sell expensive products but far less interested in standing behind them when they sell a defective product. Ironically, you'll often get better customer service from Amazon and a chatbot - or even at Burger King -than you will from the people working in this showroom. I'm aware that Ferguson has acquired build.com and has consolidated the industry, but please understand consumers still have options. Our time is valuable and we had selected Ferguson for what we thought would be ease of order and attentive service with no regard for price whatsoever. We thought by paying more we would receive elite service. We were wrong. Bottom line: I wouldn't hire these people to pick up cigarette butts at my carnival

We had been planning our kitchen remodel for quite some time when we visited FERGUSON on Miles for…read morethe first time, yesterday. I was looking forward to it! The showroom is filled with impressive displays but that's about it. We walked every square inch and NOT ONE employee acknowledged us. NOT ONE. I spent more than a little while checking on the spec's and prices of the few things with such info available and I was genuinely shocked by the mark-ups I found. For example, I recognized a mid-level, single vanity, simply framed mirror that was nearly $1,000......This brand tops out at $600, if that, on such a small mirror. Additionally, most, if not every, kitchen display included a sagging shelf here or a badly mitered corner there. I have never experienced this anywhere else. It felt like a showroom for flippers. While indeed a beautiful, dreamy showroom, I found little in substance, or real-world value.

Many of the books have music, drawing pads, etc. They have books of every type, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, novels, history and so much more. The sale on K-Cups are really good. I couldn't believe how they have Keto, Organics, Atkins to name a few. I was shocked that they had bags of BLACK WALNUTS you know how expensive and rare these are to get. The bags are 1-1/2 cups for under $2.99. The have light popcorn and buttered 3-pack for .99 cents. Sofa pillows, rugs, wall art / decor, frames, lamps, curtains for your home. I only got through 2/3 of the store and I decided it was time for me to go as I had many items in my cart. I did sneak a peak at the other side o did not visit and I did see some outdoorsy clothes, like Mossy Oak. Although I know I picked up some really cool clothes, books, snacks and such I felt that I really racked up a big bill, to my surprise when the cashier told me what the total was it was way less than expected. Score!!! If you like the store and you are visiting for the first time sign up for Ollies Army card. It's just a card that you can use in each of your visits that accumulates points for future discounts. Just remember to complete the sign up on your phone or computer. They gave me a 15 percent discount on next visit. That's a great discount on there already low prices.

Normally when I check out at self-checkout, I simply scan or pull up my military discount account to receive my 10% discount. On this visit, I did not have my physical ID with me, so I went to customer service to ask if they could pull up my account using my phone number, which I have done successfully at multiple other Lowe's locations before. As soon as I approached customer service and explained the situation, Miss Donna immediately and very rudely told me that they could not help me and that I was not going to receive my 10% military discount because she could not verify my identity without my ID. When I explained that multiple other Lowe's locations have always been able to pull up my account without an issue, she responded by telling me that "not all Lowe's locations are the same" in a very rude and dismissive manner. Afterward, I went to the cashier, and the cashier was easily able to pull up my phone number and apply my military discount without verifying my ID. Once the transaction was completed, Miss Donna then went over and scolded the cashier for helping me. The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand policies may vary from location to location, but there is still a respectful way to speak to customers, especially veterans simply trying to use a military discount account already on file. Someone higher up seriously needs to speak with Miss Donna regarding her attitude and the way she communicates with customers

Ohio Lowes shoppers Beware!!…read more Lowe's subcontracts their home home improvement projects to third-party companies that, in my experience, do not adequately respect property boundaries. During a fence installation for my neighbor, the subcontracted fencing company destroyed a garden bed on my property and damaged a handmade ceramic decorative item. This damage will require professional repair in the spring and replacement of the handmade item. Lowe's response was to offer $100, which is insufficient given the extent and cost of the damage. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and resolution. A major red flag should have been when this F-rated company removed several panels from my fence in order to connect the fence they were installing for my neighbor. That action alone showed a disregard for property lines and ownership.
