We purchased nearly an entire home's worth of kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures from Ferguson during a full remodel several years ago. At the time, the purchase was substantial and we received excellent service from Rick Ritt and had recommended him. Sadly, we were unable to work with Rick on this most recent visit. We returned to the showroom for another project and were honestly shocked by the experience. Multiple employees were sitting at their desks without any customers, scrolling on their phones--one clearly on Facebook--yet we were told we could not be helped because we didn't have an appointment and would need to come back the next day. In a retail showroom. While staff were visibly doing nothing. This level of arrogance and indifference toward customers is astounding. We made an appointment and returned the next day. Made our purchase. The service didn't improve after the sale either. One of the faucets we purchased from Ferguson--around $500--turned out to be defective when our plumber installed it. Because of the timeline of the remodel, it had been about 90 days since the order. I reached out to Ferguson for help with the return or replacement and was completely ghosted after they said "we will reach out to manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done'. No follow-up, no assistance, no accountability. If you read the other reviews online, this seems to be a pattern. Ferguson appears very eager to sell expensive products but far less interested in standing behind them when they sell a defective product. Ironically, you'll often get better customer service from Amazon and a chatbot - or even at Burger King -than you will from the people working in this showroom. I'm aware that Ferguson has acquired build.com and has consolidated the industry, but please understand consumers still have options. Our time is valuable and we had selected Ferguson for what we thought would be ease of order and attentive service with no regard for price whatsoever. We had been planning our kitchen remodel for quite some time when we visited FERGUSON on Miles for the first time, yesterday. I was looking forward to it! The showroom is filled with impressive displays but that's about it. We walked every square inch and NOT ONE employee acknowledged us. NOT ONE. I spent more than a little while checking on the spec's and prices of the few things with such info available and I was genuinely shocked by the mark-ups I found. For example, I recognized a mid-level, single vanity, simply framed mirror that was nearly $1,000......This brand tops out at $600, if that, on such a small mirror. Additionally, most, if not every, kitchen display included a sagging shelf here or a badly mitered corner there. I have never experienced this anywhere else. It felt like a showroom for flippers. While indeed a beautiful, dreamy showroom, I found little in substance, or real-world value. read more

If you're looking for a showroom that actually has sample shower stalls, walls, base pans and door on display, don't bother going here. There aren't any. They can look up their limited product online and talk to you about what they. I can do that in the comfort of my own home. I was simply looking for some choices in a good quality acrylic s shower system with soft close glass doors on rollers that I could see, touch, inspect, etc. For other needs such as vanities, lighting, and plumbing hardware there was a large selection. read more

Our family has worked with Ferguson for over a decade, first with Natasha and later with Nancy. We have also worked with other showroom sales staff while looking at lighting, plumbing, and other items for our home renovation projects. Here are the main reasons we continue to buy at Ferguson, even though the showroom floor is 50 minutes away from our home, and other higher-end designer stores are much closer to us: 1. Ferguson allows returns if they are in like-new. 2. If a piece is missing, they track it down and ship a replacement. 3. Their staff is very knowledgeable and patient. 4. They have a very large showroom with many pieces, but it's not so cluttered that it's difficult to move around. 5. Their pricing is transparent. We have given many recommendations to Ferguson over the years but never on a public review site. So here you go, the cat's out of the bag; this is the place to go for designer pieces for your home. read more

I purchased over $2,000.0 worth of bathroom fixtures doing a complete redo of my master bathroom. My first contractor was terrible and ended up having to get a second contractor to undo and redo half of what the first incompetent contractor had done. I was in contact with Ferguson many times and told them I would have returns of some items. Including one item that was defective. Each time I was informed, no worries we always take returns." What was never explained to me was if there was a time limit on these returns. By the time the second contractor finished it was over a year and when I made my returns a few months later since I had never been informed there was any urgency I was informed about the time limit at this time. That will be a year ago in late July 2020. I have been patient at first and was told that they were waiting to hear from the manufacturer. No they're not even responding to my emails any longer. Therefore I would never recommend this company since they didn't fully disclose their return policy, never informed me of any time limit and now I'm out hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise that I no longer have in my possession. read more

If there was a zero star rating, they would be getting that. Went in there yesterday to look around for some good stoves, willing to spend close to 10 grand on appliances. Not one salesperson came around to even say hello. Were they all busy? no! Some of them were actually just chatting together and not working with anyone. Was it busy in there? Not busy, there were a few customers. And please don't give me that lame excuse of making an appointment, because a sales person could have easily come over and at least made initial contact. Seems to be a consistent theme when it comes to rating this company - 1 star across the board. I'm willing to bet that if less than 1 star was available, we'd all opt in. Another similar theme seems to be with the horrific level of customer service (and accountability). The ONLY reason we used Ferguson was because they had a relationship with our contractor - huge mistake. We proactively ordered all appliances 8 months ahead of project completion - all were in stock on date of order. On date of appliance install (final week of a 4 month project) everything was delivered except the double oven. There was no heads-up/communication - just an absent appliance. We asked the installers who just assumed the stove was on back-order (which was impossible). Come to learn, the stove was damaged while in the care of Ferguson and simply never loaded on the truck. Again no phone call - absolutely nothing. I ended up purchasing the same oven from Home Depot which was delivered/installed 2 days later. I then chased my refund down for nearly two weeks. Awful! But that's not all - the fridge that was delivered/installed by Ferguson lasted 1 week before going completely out. Like someone else mentioned, they more or less guided us to GE. Unwilling to accept a service order on a 1 week fridge, we demanded our money back and for Ferguson to come and pick up their fridge. Again, we ordered the exact same appliance from Home Depot - being delivered on Monday. I've given Ferguson more than 1 week to schedule a pickup/refund us. All communication has been prompted by us - absolutely zero proactive f/u on their end. As of Friday we were advised by our outside builder agent Steve Caldwell that they would be unable to pick up for another 7-10 days. No apology. In fact, he had the indecency to suggest that Home Depot should be able to move THEIR busted fridge to MY garage to store for Ferguson until they had a chance to swing by and pickup. Are you kidding me? Will the Ferguson responder to these Yelp posts PLEASE stop referring to their service as "top-notch?" It's condescending (or delusional one). Again, I've been clear about my expectations - either pickup your fridge and refund me by 12pm Monday or your CEO and I are going to get real tight (real soon).
