This place is a disaster. The membership team is rarely friendly, the lockers are constantly dirty or broken, and the bathrooms smell absolutely terrible. Those issues are frustrating, but they're tolerable. What is not tolerable is having money withdrawn from your account using a signature you did not authorize. When confronted about it, instead of taking responsibility or offering a simple apology, they seem to go above and beyond to find excuses for how the "mistake" happened. Mistakes can happen, but unauthorized charges and the use of a signature that isn't yours are serious matters. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of accountability. At this point, it's not about dirty lockers or bad-smelling bathrooms. It's about trust, accountability, and how customers are treated when something serious goes wrong. read more

Do NOT sign up for the stretch sessions. They have constant turnover on the stretchers, all ranging in quality. One even no called no showed for my session. They failed to explain that after your sessions, you would automatically be charged for future ones , and they failed to cancel my membership when I asked them to in person. I had a Gold's Gym membership which turned into EOS as their So Cal gyms were acquired. I wasn't sure if I was able to go to any EOS but apparently I can't as I'm not in their system. Anyhow, the sales rep allowed me to work out gratis so I took a Body Pump class taught by Moises. Both the class and instructor were very good and the gym is well kept and huge. read more

Been going since they opened! Great gym overall! My favorite aspect is the movie room to do cardio but I do wish they would keep to the posted schedule a bit better since I will plan larger cardio around the movie and sometime they mix it up :/ But all and all good gym. When things break they fix it quickly. Normally have enough space to do what I need without waiting for any machines or anything. The morning staff is always very friendly! I like that they have the option to buy drinks and snacks as it is a good way to try things you normally buy in bulk. The parking is not great as you have to park in the garage behind it. But oh well. I wish the front lot would be open to the morning gym goers before the retail shops are open. read more

We were told there would be no problem cancelling the contract. We let the management know that we were leaving on May 1st. However, they charged us for $488 after we left. If you sign up for personal training, make sure you get in writing. They count on you not reading all the boiler plate in their contracts. read more

Rating: 4/5 stars (Would be 5 if not for a rocky start!) ​The Gym: Great facility, excellent equipment, and a really nice location. ​The Bitter: I joined for weightlifting and body recomp, but my first trainer completely ignored my goals and health limitations (asthma/dysautonomia). Instead of teaching me to lift, she told me I "wasn't ready" for the squat rack and would push circuit training and resistance bands. Eventually even though i have asthma and limitations she would end up telling me to do cardio. I felt discouraged and watched HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS go down the drain. As a neurodivergent person, speaking up wasn't easy, but I finally went to the PT manager. He paired me with Jack for my remaining sessions. ​The Sweet: I wish I'd been paired with Jack from day one! He put me right on the dang squat rack during our first session. He actually listened, remembered my physical limitations, and tailored everything to MY goals. He is incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable. ​The Verdict: The gym itself is great, but the training experience is only as good as your trainer. If you want a serious, attentive coach who actually listens, do yourself a favor and sign up with Jack. read more

This is the only EOS location I go to that will NOT let you workout in peace. In the 3 months I've started attending this location, the personal trainers have tried to sell themselves to me 5 different times. They are constantly begging you to do a body scan just so they can belittle you about your progress and sell personal training to you. I've been in the gym consistently for 6+ months and Isa had the audacity to ask "but are you REALLY seeing the results you want?" Yes. I already told you that. Then, I was woken up this morning by 2 calls from EOS. Keep in mind I attend 3 different locations regularly, this is the only EOS I have this problem with. They called to try to schedule a body scan and a free personal training session. Did no one ever teach you no means no? I know multiple people who have stopped attending this location because they can't be left alone. Half the time I'm interrupted during my workout by some personal trainer half my size trying to sell me stuff. I have NEVER been approached or bugged at other EOS locations and that is why I will continue to go to the other ones instead. Some people workout to clear their minds and be left alone. But that's impossible at this location. I recommend going to a location in Tempe if you don't want trainers breathing down your neck 25/8. read more

My gym closed unexpectedly and I visited a few gyms before landing on EŌS. My daughter told me about this gym and we went to check it out. It has a really nice layout and tons of options for weight machines and free weights. There is a room with different movies going that has treadmills and stair masters. It can get busy at peak times, so I just go mid morning or midafternoon and I have really enjoyed it. The recumbent bikes also have a terrain option, so I have ridden through all sorts of lovely places. There also is a designated parking area that is covered. They definitely don't need more members, but it's a great gym and I wanted to acknowledge it. read more

Today was such an amazing day, I started at my new Gym. It sure did not disappoint. They rolled out the red carpet and was blown away by the amenities. I did their stretchy with Myotech to finish the day but stated with some great cardio on their extra tall machine, an express 45 total body workout and their massage chairs are exceptional. Why is it so hot in there? Yes, the thermostat on the first floor reads 65-70. When you go up to the second floor gym, it's 20 degrees hotter with hot air blowing on the treadmills. Also, with no pool, zero value in this membership if I can't use it for treadmill running (I'd be sweating on the people next to me because the treadmills are touching). I've got weights at home. If this is January, I'm terrified of what temperature they'll keep it in July. read more

This gym is pretty close to brand new and thus all the equipment is nice. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the crowds. You can barely find any equipment to use when it's peak time around 5pm on weekdays. If you can come during off times it's a solid spot with all the equipment you need. Depending on your membership they have a recovery area as well. Locker rooms are clean and functional but don't compare to the spa like feel at gyms like lifetime. They need round the clock maintenance and a cleaning person to cover the floor from open to close. Lots of gross spots throughout and tons of out of service machines + water fountains on any given day. Planet Fitness operates better than this. :( By the time you find a paper towel to clean the machine you used, someone is already on it. read more

This is a solid gym with plenty of equipment if you know what you're doing and are able to self-serve. Not the place you're looking for if you desire group classes before 5:30pm (they have two daytime yoga classes during the workweek, otherwise everything M-F takes place after 5:30), and parking is a short walk from the gym entrance, as there are signs everywhere warning gym patrons not to park immediately near the gym for fear of being towed and ticketed. Overall, a solid and affordable gym to work out in, though you may have to wait a bit to get on the machine of your choice since it's so busy. read more

Their entire sign-up process is extremely predatory. I was recently in a tough financial situation looking to take advantage of the $1 sign up deal in hopes to better my mental/physical health. They insisted I sign up for a personal training package so I could get a few sessions, then cancel later. At my first personal training session the trainer went on about how 2x a week isn't enough sessions. I have now been charged multiple times and have been trying to cancel for over a month. I went in and they couldn't help me, because a manager wasn't there. I tried to fill out the help form, and heard nothing back. The staff called me and all they could do was tell me it will go to collections if I don't pay. No one at EOS has had empathy for the situation, or taken any accountability for their high-pressure sales tactics. I'm extremely disappointed and won't be returning. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would and I don't say this lightly. I never rate a business low because I want to support the community however the customer service as this location is outrageously awful. When the enrollment center opened I called in and I signed up for a membership. At the time they were not the best discount rates but I decided to still go for it. Fast forward a few weeks later I found out I could change studios and get a better membership rate so I switched to the new studio opening in Glendale Ave. I was told by the studio in Glendale that the switch was easy and that I could get refunded for the 9.99 I had already put at the Central Phoenix studio. Fast forward to almost 4 months now, not only did I never receive the 9.99 refund I was also charged for the monthly rate and membership at the Phoenix studio despite making numerous calls letting them know I was cancelling my membership and switching to the new studio opening in Glendale. The amount of times I have called trying to fix this is ridiculous. This is outright thief. I have called at least 7 times and not once has anyone apologized for the hassle. I was told I would get both refunds yet 2 weeks later nothing. No matter how nice the gym or new the equipment is, that comes second to poor customer service. I will not be recommending this gym nor any EoS Fitness studios. They have zero respect to the paying costumer. I also called the Glendale studio and was given the run around and redirected to the Central studio but in the end neither studio took accountability. read more

This gym is a fairly good space but it ends there. 2 weeks being open, they ran out of towels so when they try to charge you $10 a month for this service skip on it because they don't do in house laundry so they run out. The locker room is messy and no one maintaining it. Black prints on the floors, the sauna benches are already black from dirty shoes and no cleaning. The gym is way too over crowded during peak hours. I guess this is what you get when you're a gym that sells memberships that are 9.99. The thing that really blows my mind is that when I went to cancel, they didn't care at all. Didn't ask for feedback. I would recommend any other gym in the area. You'll get a better experience at LA fitness for a similar rate. read more

I've been going to this location(Central) for a very long time with no issues but the first time I come and want to sign my daughter and her husband up so we could all come together then there is a problem. To make a long story short - we got signed up and I thought it was a great deal bc not only was it gonna be $5 less then what Ai was paying, it was a $1 down, waiving all other fees, won't come out for 2 weeks and no annual membership ship due until the year comes to renewal. Well that was a joke bc not only was I charged $146.97 but was charged $24.99 not once but twice two weeks later. When reaching out after I saw the charges on that day they had the nerve to say it will take 7-10 business days for it to be refunded and I would get an email regarding the refund. Now it's been over 10 days when I reached back out and now I was told it wasn't processed properly and it will be put back through and sent directly to the gym director to see about approving it but would take like 2 weeks. I'm like REALLY!!!!!!!!! ANOTHER 2 weeks. Then the day after e signed up my daughter got her husband a hoodie from there and we wanted to know the price- now keep in mind the guy that signed us up was the same one who just so happened to be at the desk to scan the hoodie. We asked how much it was and he scanned to get the price which was $43 and some change and we also asked what the price was as a member which was about $35 and some change - tell me why the next there was as charge for the $43 and $35 - when calling to confront them about the .2 charges, the dude didn't appear to know what he was doing - got put on hold about 5 times - asked to speak to the person that signed us up and rang up the hoodie we was put on hold yet again and then came back on and said he had stepped out - REALLY!!!!!! I guess to get us off the phone he said he processed the refund and it would be on there in 24-48hrs - well fast forward to the other day when I called about mine - I was told her refund was already put back on - well actually it wasn't put back on and still not there. Not only did I cancel my membership immediately but I wouldn't advise anyone to trust the deceptive practices of this gym. Plus their equipment is very outdated from the other gym I went to. If I did sign up for another one it wouldn't be this one. These kids at this location are clueless. read more

I do enjoy coming to this gym because it's spacious. The good thing about this gym is that it's 24 hours open, the only down side is that this gym is mostly packed. Parking can be a bit tricky because you have to look out for the signs that are designed for EOS members. I highly recommend coming here during lunch hour when many people are not working out. The place was clean and the majority of the equipment was not broken. Can see myself returning here. read more
