Do I have to rate them? I really can not, they never showed up never gave a phone call, just a I'm late, can we reschedule would of been sufficient. That's tough, people are always looking for a handyman, even a small job you would get paid, cash most likely. I could use some one to paint a short strip of fencing, wash my windows inside and out, help me throw wood in my shed for winter burning ....etc.... Fair pricing. Timely follow-up. Even though I didn't use their service, I would go back to E&B for future projects.

If I could give this so called "business" no stars, I would. A TOTAL SCAM!! When the technician, and from what I guess was his girlfriend, arrived at my home for a washer repair, they arrived in a car. (That should have been my first red flag.) The technician did not have a tool bag, he had his tools in an oversized, cloth purse. (Second red flag.) After the technician fumbled around for a while with the washer, he told me what part need to be replaced. (This part he got correct, even though the part was no where near where he was looking in the washer.) While the technician was looking over the washer, he and his girlfriend spoke in a VERY unprofessional and disrespectful manner about my career field. (I should have thrown both of them out of my house after hearing their conversation.) As the technician was putting my washer back together, he told me he would send me the part that needed to be replaced and have me order it online. He put everything back together and charged me a $45.00 service charge. After collecting the fee, the pair left my home. Shortly thereafter, I sent a text to the girlfriend to have the technician send me the part that needed to be ordered. No response at first. Several hours later, after I had turned in for the night, I got a response from the girlfriend. She told me the technician would send me the part that was needed. Again, nothing. Totally ghosted. Since I was ghosted by the technician, I was able to locate the correct location of faulty part and order it online for $10.00. Replacing the part only took about 10 minutes and was pretty easy. Elwood T @ E&B professionals came out to fix my water softener through Choice home warranty. That claim was turned in on July 24. He walked into the house with a female that knew much more than him. He had no tools. The only thing he was carrying was his cell phone worried about where he was gonna go to his next customers place to get there deposit. He walked in and asked if the water softener was the little one against the wall. She replied, yes. At that point, I was really getting scared because I knew he knew absolutely nothing. He ended up taking my $75 deposit & said he would get me a new water softener unit. I've called choice home warranty so many times I couldn't tell you a number, it's like every few days. He wouldn't reply back to them or me for several days, but told them he's waiting for parts. Parts are local here in town. You don't leave a water softener down for sev weeks especially when parts are here locally in town. If he was a real business person & had a business account he could've had another water softener the next day at the latest. Choice home warranty assigned Elwood T from E&B professionals to fix my refrigerator that needs Freon. This claim was turned in a day after my first claim on July 25, 2025. I'm still waiting for him to put Freon in it. He's blocked my phone number Through the business & the girl that works with him won't reply back either. I've called Choice multiple times every week. he has them convinced he's waiting on parts. I say I've been scammed & there trying to survive off of everybody's deposit money. I honestly don't believe he knows how to fix anything. She seems to be the brains and knows what to do. I can back this up with all my documentation from Choice home warranty if needed. i'm not sure if this guy would be reliable for even taking my trash out. read more
