Before leaving reviews, I usually like to compare with other companies that provide the same service. In this case, it was Valley Wide Towing on Rivard Rd. in Moreno Valley. Mike was awesome -- professional, courteous, and respectful. Back in the day, tow yard employees were known for being rude to customers, and unfortunately, after recently dealing with another tow yard, not much has changed in some places. A few days before coming here, I had to visit another tow yard to take photos, and the experience was completely different. The staff there were unfriendly and made an already stressful situation even worse. That's why I wanted to acknowledge Mike and Valley Wide Towing. After going off-roading in Fawnskin, our car died deep in the woods--truly the middle of nowhere. We called AAA, who sent Kevin from A-Performance Towing, and he arrived quickly. He immediately diagnosed the issue and assured us it wasn't the alternator, as I had suspected. With it being a holiday weekend, only one shop was open, and Kevin recommended we tow it there. He was right--our battery was completely done. An hour later, with a new one installed, we were back on the road. Feeling confident, we went off-roading again... and four hours later, the truck stalled again. AAA dispatched A-Performance Towing once more. We were much farther up the mountain this time, and my signal was so spotty that my location was pinging miles away. The owner, Corey, personally called me, knew the trails well, and still managed to find us. He navigated rough terrain, got us safely out, and provided incredibly helpful insight. It was clear the issue was more serious than a battery. Corey recommended towing to a dealership since no local shop could likely diagnose it over the holiday weekend. He even called the Dodge dealership in Moreno Valley himself to coordinate and make sure we could speak directly with the service manager. The level of professionalism was truly outstanding. This morning, their driver Reyes towed my truck to the dealership and was an absolute pleasure to work with--friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Most people don't expect exceptional service from towing companies, but A-Performance Towing is in a league of its own.
