Mike was awesome -- professional, courteous, and respectful. Back in the day, tow yard employees were known for being rude to customers, and unfortunately, after recently dealing with another tow yard, not much has changed in some places. A few days before coming here, I had to visit another tow yard to take photos, and the experience was completely different. The staff there were unfriendly and made an already stressful situation even worse. That's why I wanted to acknowledge Mike and Valley Wide Towing. After going off-roading in Fawnskin, our car died deep in the woods--truly the middle of nowhere. We called AAA, who sent Kevin from A-Performance Towing, and he arrived quickly. He immediately diagnosed the issue and assured us it wasn't the alternator, as I had suspected. With it being a holiday weekend, only one shop was open, and Kevin recommended we tow it there. He was right--our battery was completely done. An hour later, with a new one installed, we were back on the road. Feeling confident, we went off-roading again... and four hours later, the truck stalled again. AAA dispatched A-Performance Towing once more. We were much farther up the mountain this time, and my signal was so spotty that my location was pinging miles away. The owner, Corey, personally called me, knew the trails well, and still managed to find us. He navigated rough terrain, got us safely out, and provided incredibly helpful insight.
