Staff - Staff is prompt and friendly. I definitely appreciated Monica, she's super friendly, professional, and easygoing. Service - They actually finished my car earlier than expected and did an amazing job. I actually returned my rental the same day because they were done early (FYI I do NOT recommend the Enterprise down the street). The work Diamond Auto Body did for my car looks superb and they even clean and vacuum your car before they return it to you. Covid Measures - The only reason I rate it 4.5/5 because they seem just a little lax on their covid policy. Everyone I spoke to including the inspection person all wore masks, but some folks around the office didn't wear a mask or didn't wear their masks properly. I didn't see temperature checks or sanitizing between customers, but that may be related to staff only and customer car repairs. Also, social distancing was a bit hard with the small space in the office. However, I'll repeat, whomever we dealt with and spoke to always wore masks around us. They will not even take accountability for the issue they caused directing me to go elsewhere instead of offering to fix the problems. Obviously somebody here is incompetent & caused wiring issues with my car but they don't want to be held liable, insisting that this issue came from the accident although I was driving the car for 2 weeks after my accident & it didn't have issues. In my pursuit to find someone to fix car I came across Prestige Auto. I sent them estimate of insurance company with pictures of my vehicle in "torn down state". After reviewing documents and photos, they went to pick up vehicle and fixed vehicle. They saved me a few hundred dollars that was needed to not have my vehicle go to chopping block. Jamal and Mike where very helpful in process. It them a little over month to fix vehicle and when I got it back it looked brand new. Mike showed me pieces from the job. I didn't know how major work was. But I'm grateful they saved me headache of looking for another vehicle. It took me six months to find that car!

They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

By that I…read moremean, they thoroughly inspected the car, test drove it, took note of the repair work that had been previously done elsewhere, and did not find anything they thought needed fixing, even though they had ample opportunity to do so. So I will trust them in the future to give an honest assessment of my vehicle. I also liked that you can drop off in the morning through the slot before the office opens. If you need an honest mechanic - they're not just a body shop - feel confident in giving them a try.

Ultimately, under a time crunch I decided to move forward with one part of the repair as the pair was not crucial to driving. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services.
