They said they had replaced 2 parts, got me a new electronic thermostat, and cleaned the unit. My dad had to visit 2 days later and noticed they didn't clean the unit like they said. However, I was charged $389 for all the services they claimed to have done and was told that we would need a new unit soon if it went out again. It has been 2 months and has went out 3-5 more times since then. Before spending $8,000-$10,000 on a new unit, we decided to get a second opinion. The new company came out immediately cleaned my unit and told my they the start capacitor was NEVER replaced, I paid $100 for that part. He changed the capacitor, added Freon and billed me $173.00. The house started cooling down and I took a much needed nap. When I woke up it was 85 degrees in my home. I checked the air handler, which he never even looked at, and the fins were frozen over. I called him back to let him know what was going on. He said I needed a new unit and told me the Freon must have leaked out. I asked him why he had not tested for leaks before adding the Freon and he said he just didn't. It was obvious that he did not plan on coming back so I said "So I just wasted $173.00 for nothing!". He said pretty much and these things happen! Jayden (J) and Cody were the technicians that came to my home, and I could not have been more impressed with them!!! They were very knowledgeable and more than competent to do the job at hand and they were both more than willing to answer any questions I had!! They did an excellent job and Cody even killed a whole nest full of wasps that had set up shop in my clean-out drain!!!
