First, they offer different levels of window film, and unless you pay significantly more for the ceramic film, the regular film they install is extremely poor quality. If you're expecting a clean, professional tint job, be very careful about what you choose. The installation itself was unacceptable. When I picked up my car, there were bubbles all over the windows. I immediately brought it to their attention, and I was told that this was "normal" and that the bubbles would disappear after about five days. I have had window tint installed on all of my previous vehicles, and I have never left a professional tint shop with windows looking like this. I waited the five days as instructed, and guess what? The bubbles were still there. I returned to the shop, and they agreed to redo the tint. The second installation was also poorly done. There were still bubbles, and on the rear passenger-side window, they cut the film too short, leaving a very noticeable gap. The workmanship was honestly embarrassing. I went back again, and instead of taking responsibility, they repeatedly told me, "You have one year, don't worry." That is not the point. I paid for a professional installation, and I should not have to keep returning to the shop over and over again to get the job done correctly. They asked me to wait again while they replaced the film for a third time. And after all of that, there are still bubbles in the windows. At this point, I've given this company multiple opportunities to fix the problem, and they have failed every single time. The workmanship is poor, the installation quality is unacceptable, and the customer service is extremely unprofessional. There was no real apology or acknowledgment of the poor work--just repeated statements about having a one-year warranty. A warranty does not make a bad installation acceptable. I shouldn't have to keep bringing my car back multiple times for something that should have been done correctly the first time. Do yourself a favor and shop around. There are plenty of window tint shops that offer much better quality, workmanship, and customer service. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I had a good feeling about Magic, and they are highly rated, so I went for a visit to his shop. He came out and looked over my car right away. His estimate was about the same as all the others, starting at $250, but his knowledge and personality impressed me right away. I liked him, and liked what he had to say, so we scheduled a full detail. My car was in pretty good shape, but the candy apple red paint was getting dingy, and I had some stains on the seats that were bothering me. I had tried to shampoo them myself, with mixed results. Boy, am I glad I used Magic Auto Detailers! I couldn't believe how clean and shiny my car looked when I picked it up! Brian had it for two days, and they must have been working on it full time. The exterior is bright and shiny again, and every speck of dirt was gone from the wheels, body, etc. The headlights look better than new. He even painted my black plastic side mirrors, and told me they will always look like that! The interior is better than I had hoped for! The seats are perfect, as is the carpeting. They even cleaned inside my glove box. It looks brand new! When I looked at the emailed invoice/receipt, it mentioned the engine. I hadn't even considered this, and I didn't ask him to do the engine. I immediately went out and opened the hood. Good Lord! My engine looks like it has never been used! Every bit of gunk and grime is gone, and all the black plastic looks brand new! If you want your car detailed to perfection, take it to Brian at Magic Auto Detail. I paid a little over $400, with the extra polish wax, and it was worth it.
