She cared for my mother with compassion and kindness. She treated her with respect and love. She helped my mom eat her food and drink her drinks. Accompanied my mother to the restroom. Assisted her in her walking and transported her to and from the event. I couldn't have asked for more from this service. I had no worries that my mother was cared for while I hosted this dinner. There was absolutely NO transition plan, even though she needed wheelchair, hospital bed and continence supplies. Discharge paperwork said "Return to PCP". Then they sent someone to pick up the equipment they provided the day after discharge. This company really does not understand palliative care at all.

I cannot express my gratitude enough, for the immense care and support Karlton has given to us…read more My mother passed last month at Karlton ,surrounded by her family, and Karlton care providers that have lovingly cared for her for nearly 10 years. I realized this May would have been ten years that my Mother entered Karlton, and it shows how well they have nurtured her through Alzheimers and this last journey of her life. I, as her daughter have been supported by the owners, and staff each and everyday. I cant tell you how many times they have held my hand through my mothers Alzheimers disease. They are truly angels. I would like to mention my Uncle was here with her for 7 years prior. I would like to comment on his care as well. Simply amazing. It was comforting for me to have them together. Karlton has a very special quality about it that I certainly had not found before placing her with them. They are extremely capable, and competent to manage Alzheimers/Dementia patients, and in the most loving way. The facility is calm, immaculate,and so well run. Elena has managed many aspects of my mothers care from her medical needs to mental health care needs. Sylvia has also been such a wonderful support when I have needed to make sure all my mothers supply needs were met, as well as providing the physical care needed care each day.
