Michael called me immediately and got it set up to get me started which I chose what I needed as far as two days the first week and then one day the following week and one day the following week after that until I'm able to get out of the sling with the giant pillow. They do light housekeeping, laundry , personal needs. they fix meals they sit and visit with you if that's what you need anything within your timeframe. They'll take you to doctors appointments. I was so blessed with Lauren helping me. I'm 76 years young will be 77 this year and very independent but a fall again had put me in a situation. I could not handle everything alone for a few weeks. Over the course of several weeks, I worked closely with Lina while arranging the additional support my mother needed following her surgery, which had been significantly delayed due to the Kaiser strike. Throughout the process, Lina was professional, compassionate, kind, and extremely helpful. There were several frustrating moments related to scheduling issues, many of which I expressed to Kaiser. Lina was always honest and transparent, explaining that all of their Spanish-speaking caregivers were currently assigned to other clients. Even so, she consistently took the time to listen to my concerns, answer questions, and help explore possible solutions. Lina maintained regular communication to ensure my mother received the specific care she needed when she needed it. While there were some scheduling challenges along the way, Lina remained proactive, attentive, and supportive, helping us navigate each obstacle. However, I know they are still making changes since the building if I am not mistaken under new ownership. Anyhow, upon arriving to his floor, there were CNAs and the nurses desk near by to see if we had any questions. The staff did get his room ready as he did have Enhanced Barrier Precaution isolation. So we are thankful for that. The food was good and the care was okay. I wish the staff was a bit more attentive instead of hanging out in the hallways having conversations about their personal lives. In that setting, it was a bit disappointing and unprofessional. We visited in the 3 weeks he was there, and no major red flags or concerns on our end. If I was to be asked if we would readmit him there again, I would look around for options first before opting to go back. Thank you to the team that did take care of him, and ensured he was safe to come back home! Not ever nursing home is the same or has a horrible back story! Ours was just okay... and I am happy to leave the 3 star review for services.
