Before purchasing the deal from Groupon (Two Microdermabrasion with Collagen Treatments) I made sure to read reviews not only from Groupon but also Yelp and Google. THIS IS A MUST! Surprise...surprise... just because they have 5-star on Groupon doesn't necessarily mean they're good. Fortunately, this place had excellent reviews everywhere! I have combination skin, mostly oily and acne scars from my teenage years . I'm also in my mid-20's so I wasn't expecting a major difference the first treatment as I've never had a facial before. However, my first experience from here was indeed pleasant and has set the bar high. I especially applause them for having great customer service! The place was chic, cozy and clean. I was immediately greeted and a few minutes later, Shi (aesthetician) walked us to the room. I had to bring my daughter due to last minute change of plans and I planned on having her wait in the lobby. But Shi let her come with us in the room which I really appreciated. As soon as the treatment started, my daughter had about 100 questions about why and what Shi was doing lol. We watch JadeyWadey on YT so she was invested in the whole process . The Microdermabrasion didn't hurt. Although, I do have high pain tolerance. It felt like someone's slightly pinching your skin. When it was time for my mask, Shi left the room with my daughter so I can a have a few minutes of quiet. She also gave her a tour of the other rooms to keep her distracted. Again, CUSTOMER SERVICE ON POINT! My favorite part was the facial massage . I try to do it at home but it's a thousand times better when someone else do it for you lol. Shi also explained they're membership club, (go to their website emedspasd.com for details) which sounds like a great deal with plenty of benefits! Plus, if you're planning on getting treatments routinely, this will save you a lot of money . She also suggested Microneedling to get rid of my scars so I'm definitely interested in signing-up once I've used my other treatment. Saj is AMAZING! I don't normally write reviews but I had to. This was my first time getting lips and I was so hesitant and so scared but wow I'm so happy! I have not had a good experience in this location. I received Botox and had bruising for 2 weeks. I had laser hair removal that does not seem to work. The worst experience was filler under the eyes which cause severe swelling followed by all filler leaving my under eye area. When I went back months later I felt they were rude. Been to this place 3 times for hydrafacials. Loved the result and the care I got on my first time, they took almost an hour to do my facial, the results were great. Second time i booked an app, it wasn't as good as the first time, the results were ok but not great, and she was a bit agressive when using the suction or vaccum thing and when taking care of blackheads, but it was like just Ok, third time around was awful! So so painful, so agressive; i even had to turn my faceaway a couple times cause i just didnt wanna do it anymore. Then she left me for over 20 minutes under the UV light, the whole facial took about 40 minutes, different than the first time!! the second day I woke up with my face broken out, so many pimples, not sure why, i guess cause she was so hard when taking care of blackhead? One more down thing is that she never explained the steps or what was she doing, I asked a few questions, she replied but she never explained the process. My friend also got a hydrofacial there and said she'll never go back cause of how painful it was. I'm never going back either. Not worth it at all. read more

She also left off pre treatment that needed to be done at home 24-48 hours prior to laser treatment. After 45 min, I got in the chair just to be told I needed to shave for the treatment to work. Then, the manager told me to just go in the bathroom and shave real quick. After the lady doing the treatment just told me you need 24-48 hours prior. No apology, no compensation for my time. I have to agree that this place lacks in professionalism. The estheticians were unfriendly, unprofessional and barely introduced themselves to me at all. About 4 different girls came into my room and I could hear them talking about my case when my door was closed. When one of the girls was trying to take blood for a service, she had no idea which vein to take from and was confused. Not to mention the services are very expensive. I asked for very little and I got way too much... I guess I learned my lesson... if a person looking fake comes in to do my injections, I will simply walk away. I got things I didn't ask for, my lower lip looks like a big fake blob even after two weeks, the left side bigger than the other ... I hate it. Way too much botox on my forehead, so much that it's impossible not to get a minimum of droopy eyes, and they should have either got me a smaller amount of fillers or at least asked me where I wanted the extra if I wanted any extra, instead of pushing to make me look fake. NO MORE!!! Money down the drain to have something I'm looking forward to seeing disappear. I could have spent half of the money and got the results I wanted. I'm going back to my dermatologist even if I have to drive to San Diego. I wish I could go back and have them remove everything. I really wish that. I wish she could have at least asked me where I wanted the rest of the fillers instead of deciding for me, and basically telling me as she was doing it without giving me a choice. I guess it's my fault for letting her do it, but she did not ask me first and she should have. The thing is, she did not listen at all. She just wanted me to look like she thought I should look, and did things I would not have opted for. I wish I could come back. I told you I was leaving for Europe... what are you going to do after 2 weeks? Can you remove what you have done? I wish I had a choice. I said I didn't want much done ... this is truly terrible. My lower lips is huge on the left side and normal on the other... do I want both sides to look horrible? Of course not ... Can you remove what you have done? Which I'm super thankful for because I'm NOT good with needles at ALL, even with the numbing topical, it felt stabby but towards the end I couldn't feel anything at all. I recently went in for a consultation for Ultherapy which is a nonsurgical ultra sound lift and tightening for my neck and lower face.
