I would not recommend this place. My appointment took 2 hours for a simple check-up. The nurses were gossiping extremely loud, including swearing (dropping F-bombs) and making fun of other patients when they left. It was extremely unprofessional, I've never seen anything quite like it. read more

One of the worst doctors offices I have ever seen in my life. Has the worst patient service starting from the lobby. The girls behind the desk are very bad at scheduling, the doctor is a terrible and impatient doctor. He was yelling at my 83-year-old mother because she moved while he was cleaning her ears. She was in pain and the doctor was still yelling "don't move" and not checking to see if something was wrong. They're very busy and are always packed, no social distancing. This wasn't the first time this happened to me and my mother. I will never come to this office again and I will report this doctor and the office to the health department. I just wanted to make sure my community knows about my experience and can take it into consideration. read more

I went to see an ENT specialist due to having sinuses problems for a few months now. Additionally, I have been having cough, sore throat and plugged nose for a week, so I thought I could get that treated too. I had an early AM appointment with Dr. Schwarzenfelf. It took me about 1 hour waiting, more than 30 minutes of that were in the patient room, to see the doctor. He apologized, and I am fairly tolerant of doctor's lateness, so it was not a big deal for me. However, the Dr. stayed less than 3 minutes with me. He read my symptoms descriptions which he did not seem to understand. I repeated them, and I "think" he understood. He said he would need a CT Scan of my sinuses to really understand what was going on chronically, but in the meantime he'd prescribe me something to help with my current sicky state. He did not tell me what he prescribed, and he had his back to me the whole time he was talking, and I don't know why but I didn't ask what he prescribed (assuming it would be the classic stuff). I go to the pharmacy and hour later, and they say they have no prescriptions for me. I call the pharmacy 3 hours later, nothing. I call the office. They apologize and say they are sending it in again. I call the pharmacy 3 hours later again. nothing. I call the office again. They apologize again. They say they are sending it in again. I ask what my prescription is for. They say "Singulair". I look it up and this is an asthma medication. I am very confused (as I do not suffer from asthma symptoms) and I ask if I can speak to the doctor. They say no, and "this is what is on your chart", so I go like, whatever, doctors know what I need, I will trust that. I call the pharmacy at night before they close, they have no prescription for me. So now I am just wishing I had gone to the urgent care, and had spent a lot more time researching for a specialist. I call the office again early in the morning, explain I still don't have my prescription, they say sorry and they will send it in, I said "No, you said that twice yesterday". They go talk to the back office that handles prescriptions, and tell me it takes up to 72 hours for the prescriptions to be sent in. I am absolutely shocked. This was not communicated to me, and I am dying coughing, I receive a prescription I am not confident will help, but then - I need to wait THREE DAYS to get it???? I kindly asked them to cancel my prescription, cancel my scheduled CT Scan, and I will obviously not be returning there, and now I am on my way to Urgent Care, and will figure out my chronic sinuses issue at some other time with another ENT specialist. (Their phone wait times are also not great, which again, I am fairly understanding of that as long as I get the medical services I need - which I didn't. Apparently, if I were having an aesthetic nose job the service would have been better.) read more

Brandes told me to." get the hell out of here" after asking a question concerning his lack of diagnosis process. This was during my 5th visit with brandes and 1 surgery. Brandes is always in such a hurry to get to the next patient, it seems he cares not for his patients. He never did give me a diagnoses. He spent maybe five minutes talking to me over five visits. Usually asking same questions he did from last visit. He also books 3 -4 patients per time slot. So if you have a 6pm appointment there are likely 2 - 3 others with that same time. (that is why sign in sheet has removable stickers so people can not see this) I do not know if this man lacks the ability to be a doctor or if he is just too old? But he did nothing good for me. read more

I came in because I broke my nose a week before, the wait was a little bit long, but the staff was very nice and super helpful. The doctor made a lot of effort to get everything covered under my insurance so I wouldn't have to pay a huge amount, and seemed very conscious of making sure I was comfortable and understood everything. The staff as a whole were very pleasant and set my nerves at ease. I would definitely send friends and family here! Update: I had a very successful surgery with minimal down time and my nose looks great! The office staff can be kind of rude at times, but I didn't choose Dr. Brandes because of his support staff. I am very happy with my results and will use him for any future issues I have. read more

Great experience! I was able to schedule an appointment to get my tonsils checked for the same week. After seeing Dr. Brandes he scheduled me for surgery to remove my tonsils and adenoids. My surgery was 4 weeks later on a Wednesday. Dr. Brandes called me on a Sunday afternoon to make sure I was fine. read more

Since Dr. Rochen left, the place became horrible. The staff are rude and the turnover is high. Recently they had to close this location because so many people have left. While waiting for my shot, everyone in the waiting room complained. Patients are treated like they are inconvenient. Waited to change allergists because I thought they would be difficult. They were. First they refused to release my serum until I saw a doctor (they were closing office). The so-called 'dr visits' were a joke consisting of the dr looking down your throat, saying you have post-nasal drip. That was it. The visit lasted under 3 minutes. It was just a scam to the insurance company. Now I am not sure if they will release my medical records. At the new place there are at least 2 other patients going through the same. I would avoid at all costs. read more

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE. I went to have my ears cleared up because of wax build-up, and I left the office in GREAT, TERRIBLE PAIN in my ears, AND MY WAX PROBLEM AND HEARING-PROBLEM EVEN WORSE. The old doctor who worked on me pretty much raped my inner ears with his sharp instruments. You know how every child knows not to plunge anything too deep in the ears? This old doctor apparently never learned that, and--instead of a Q-Tip or other object--he had his sharp stick or knife or whatever it was, scraping deep within my ear which was nerve-gratingly, teeth-clenchingly, eye-wateringly painful. I asked him a couple times if such terrible pain was normal, and one time he didn't even respond and the other time he just said something like, "Yeah, a little bit of pain." Was such an operation even ethical? Was the old doctor drunk, maybe stoned on some opioid? read more

Most of the staff and doctors are pleasant and thorough. I'm giving such a low star review because of something I witnessed at their office recently that will cause me to never go back to them. A woman in the waiting room was refusing to wear a mask. A staff in blue scrubs (maybe receptionist or office manager?) was told that by another staff and she started being so negative and rude regarding the woman in the waiting room. She said "then she can leave!" And used her hand in a sweeping motion. She then said "if she won't leave I'll take her out myself!" Never mind the fact that she was talking to another staff member who did not have their mask on. I'm an avid mask user and believe that everyone should wear one, but for a staff member to have that kind of intense reaction in front of other patients was not good to watch. I'd hate to know how she would talk about me if I didn't do something as a patient. It's a shame that one person ruined my positive first experience by her negative talk about another patient in the open. I love Dr. Brandes. He is definitely a doctor you have to look beyond his bedside manner. He is so bright and so talented in what he does that he is the doctor for me, the one I want to take care of my ears, nose and throat. One day I went to him telling him I couldn't breathe and in literally 5 minutes he diagnosed that I had collapsed nostrils. I NEVER would have thought that and once I got the right diagnosis we were able to move forward. I had surgery and now I can breathe again. I trust Dr. Brandes with my health despite some cons about his office. I just go in with the realistic expectations of what to expect which is totally fine with me. I prefer to have a doctor who knows what he is doing vs other things. I have made good friends with his office staff and everyone is mostly nice to me. We all see doctors for different reasons and because of mine I will continue going to this office. read more

Very disappointed! Have an appt early morning and got there on time just to find out the doctor was NOT in due to emergency. What I am disappointed about is not getting a call in the morning about my appt being cancel. Yet the front receptionist have the guts to tell us she was about to call. They need a better management when it comes to this kind of situation. I had my first experience with an ENT when going to see dr brandes. I have now been at his office for 3 visits and have had to wait over an hour each time, one time was so crowded that I had to sit outside the office. I had tubes put in my ears last week, and the procedure went well and I do believe that dr brandes does a great job. He did not spend much time in the room during appointments though, and I had to ask multiple times for cats can results. I am glad to be able to hear well again after tubes were put in, but I think I will be finding a new ENT that does not have such a busy schedule and practices at a hospital that has staff with better bedside manners!! read more
