Manager said it was from a chip that no one can find on the windshield. More likely it was caused by them bringing in the car from the cold outside and cranking the heat to the max in the car since the crack goes along the vents. Quick to respond to negative reviews but not to emails regarding issues. Additionally, they saw it has to be one cause without showing any proof and discounting the effect of bringing full heat on a cold windshield causing a minimum of 50C temperature difference and the effects it would have.

My experience yesterday was nothing short of a total 100% lack of focus on the customer and the service being provided. I called once I had my bags, went to door 9 and called. I was assured the shuttle was on its way. It was -25 and then some but I thought to myself... the driver should be here in 10 minutes, I won't freeze to death. Fifteen minutes goes buy and no shuttle. I call to see where it is and they appeared surprised that there had been a call placed. I get picked up only to find out the driver had been waiting nearby and the pickup request not related to him. When I called originally I gave my claim ticket number which should have assured that my vehicle was inside. I get to the counter and no truck to be found. Beyond irate at this point I was advised that I would be given a generous discount and that the service would improve the next time I came in. Dear new owners, suggestion to keep a return customer happy....You dropped the ball! No kind of discount was going to make do. I gave them my return flight info 3 times and they kept messaging for info. I paid for valet and our truck was way out somewhere, not ready to go and not warmed up. So we waited for them to bring it up to the building and they had our truck in 4X4 low! Their shuttle buses are set on 25 and don't go more than 25. We were in the building checking in and there was a shuttle outside with one person and he took off so, 6 of us waited at least 20 minutes. I am done booking here. I thought it was owned by West Jet but it is obvious that it is not! Worst service ever! I could keep going but will leave it here. I agree with others, pure laziness and no customer service!
