If you're unlucky enough to return your rental here like we were, you might encounter someone like John, who will search your returned car at a microscopic level for "damages". John happened to find an inconspicuous rear bumper dent on our car that was suspiciously 1/2 inch (~1.2 cm) over the 2 inch limit and refused to give us the benefit of the doubt that we hadn't caused the dent (we hadn't). I understand that it's the customer's job to inspect the car prior to accepting it, which we did, but this rental outfit will go out of their way to make you pay for things you likely would've missed. John was even frustrated we returned the car with ice on the front license plate, because he couldn't inspect *it* for damages (it was late November in Edmonton). Though he told us he'd talk to his manager about our 2.5" dent, John instead just told his manager to "pursue the customer." We then heard from the Assistant Branch Manager, Justinea, who did just that...instructed us that we must file a claim with our insurance company. Frustrating. Dishonest. Unwilling to trust the customer at any level. Do NOT do business with this Alamo.

They managed to find a very subtle dent that I would never have been able to see in the dim parkade lighting when I picked up the car. I had no incidents during the rental period and the dust and paint in the area were not disturbed so I am sure it was there when I picked up the car. They charged over $700, wasted a ton of my time over this, and I will not rent from them again.

When I knocked on the door a lady came and said very rudely, we are closed, I said my son just fell can we at least come in and warm up. She was still short and rude and when I asked about an airport shuttle she told me we needed to walk to the hotel, which was two hotels over, in the cold with all our luggage to catch a shuttle. I asked if I could call for the shuttle to come get us and even after my son falling, the temp outside and I was clearly not happy she said, we aren't supposed to, still with the same rude tone. While this was happening another employee came in, a man, didn't offer any help to us at all and proceeded to start the car we had just returned to check it back in. No offer of a ride or help with luggage or anything. When picking up my rental no one mentioned to me that they would not be open at 9 am and that the shuttle would be at a nearby hotel, had they mentioned this I would have allowed time for this and would have been prepared. But instead this was all a surprise and staff was rude and unhelpful.

They said I would most likely get a Chrysler 300 but when I got there they had upgraded me to a Limited edition 2014 Taurus with under 1500km on it. I didn't have to pay anything extra and it was ready within 5 minutes of arrival. The office is quite plain but that doesn't matter if it does the trick. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did ask about a minivan for my next rental and the manager even told me that booking online is always cheaper than booking in store so I will continue to so it that way!

I drove the hour and some to get there and when I pulled on the door the door was locked. an employee was in their vehicle leaving and asked if I needed help. I told them that I had a rental booked and I mentioned when booking I was going to be late. they said there is nothing they can do and told me to come back Monday and then the employee left. As we were sitting in our vehicle trying to call to see what we can do we seen another employee pull in and go in the bay door but would not open the door so we can talk to them. I don't understand how you can book a vehicle, say that you will be a bit late and be assured that it's fine but when you get there its all locked up. we ended up getting a rental from the airport but there was no mention of this location from the employee which would have been helpful as well. nope they just wanted to go home for the Easter Long Weekend. very disappointed and would not recommend this location to ANYONE!!

I was quite unhappy with this, brought it back to the dealership, spoke with my sales team and was told from the service department it shouldn't happen again.. Another week gose by and the random miss fire happened again... not happy At this point I'm very unhappy. Expressed my concerns with kristain the service manger. He expressed how sorry they where and that they will do everything they can to address the issue. My truck was then picked up from my home with a full tank of gas that I just filled. After some time they finaly found the issue. The truck was sold to me with Bad high output fuel injectors. After this was fixed the truck was brought back to my home. The next day i went out to my truck to see how it was running and come to find out that they used over a half tanks of gas to do there road testing and did not bother to fill it back up and that my windshield had a big Crack in it. Witch it 100% did not have a crack or rock chip at all when they picked up my truck. Once again I called the service manger Kristiana and explained to them that there was not a Crack in the windshield when they picked it up and they need to replace my windshield. This is before driving it and after testing the truck out, i was getting a very odd vibration in the cab of the truck and the steering wheel, at this point. I was extremely unhappy. Again expressed my concerns and was assure that the windshield would be replaced and they would look into the vibration issue. Once again they had my truck for almost another week before finding the issue. This time it was a bad drive shaft... I was told they will do everything they can to make this right to me. They filled the gas tanks and sent me a receipt before doing all there test driving to make sure they fixed the issue THAT WAS MISSED IN THE FIRST PLACE and used over 450kms of gas to ensure the issue was fixed and did not replace it.... After them fixing this. I was told my truck was ready to be picked up. I now have to go to the dealership and pick up my truck as they would not drop it off back to my house and come to find out again they did not fill the gas back up, after there techs did there road testing. Witch they used over 600kms of gas at this point.... I asked to speak with Kristian the service manger. He came up to me with a very poor attitude and said. Mike we fixed your truck and replaced your windshield witch he believes they did not do. then tells me WITH A VERY DISRESPECTFUL ATTITUDE. We are not filling your truck up with gas at all. Ok. I said thats hows this is going to go ? He replied, yes I left the dealership again not happy at all I do not understand how big west ford thinks it's ok to do all this road testing on the customer dime when they messed up and it's ok not to refill the gas they used to fix there mistake of misdiagnosis's on my truck. not once, but twice As a customer that spends over 40 000$ on a 2018 f150 lariat. I expect better service then this from big west Ford. 100% do not buy anything new or used from this dealership.
