Red curry with tofu and chicken pad thai

I ordered red curry and was super impressed with the variety of vegetables: peas, peppers, onions, carrots, basil leaves, bamboo slices, green beans, mushrooms. The service was impeccable, food was out fast and hot. Great sized portions and very reasonably priced. Lived in the area 20 years and this is one of the best places for Thai food.

Angie was so nice and accommodating! My bf and I are vegan/vegetarian so we didn't want the oyster sauce and fish sauce in our dish. She subbed it with something else and gave us suggestions. The food was so tasty and came out quickly!

This place is funny. Delicious, but funny. I always get to-go, and it's always fresh with huge portions. The lady everyone mentions appears to be the owner or the main one always working - she is always so friendly and happy!! Pad Thai is consistently good. Building is VERY odd, old, and awkward. Lots of fish tanks. Probably not the cleanest place. It's on the "bad" side of town. But the food is fire. I tip extra due to the lower volume of tables I'm sure they've had during covid and because I'm not sure this is a place where people tip well. I'm very curious what is in the roof. Is there a second story? Do they live there? I remember them remodeling and adding this interesting architecture - definitely makes the place stand out.

Nice option for Thai. Very warm and friendly service, and an extensive menu with a couple of things I haven't seen in many other places. One such item was the Thai soup with chicken, shrimp, and veg I ordered. I liked the strong notes of roasted garlic, but found it a slightly heavy on the fish sauce. Next time I'll try something different.

Really great food, really crummy environment. This place looks hideous from the outside, but don't let that deter you. Come on in and order big from the menu--items are plentiful and cheap. We loved the Pad thai, red curry, and mango sticky rice for dessert. It was all delicious and freshly prepared. But the inside of the restaurant is nothing to enjoy--I guess that's why so many people were getting takeout. On a weeknight it was basically empty.

This is always outstanding and consistent. I recommend the Yum beef salad and the fresh spring rolls.

Went by today and there was yellow tape across the building and the windows were boarded up. Anyone know what's up? Please don't tell me they are closing:(

Thankfully no! There was just a kitchen fire so they are renovating the building now.

My comrade had the Mama Rama fried noodles, and they hit the spot. Our order of steamed dumplings to start ourselves off was also quite tasty. I'll be back to dig the sushi!

This review is for the Holcomb location (I heard there is a food truck somewhere but i haven't been…read moreto it yet) This has become one of my favorite hidden gems discovered for lunch recently. The location is super convenient for me, and they don't close for lunch/school (unlike Rein) What this means that it means if I'm going to be eating out on a weekday during the workweek I'm going to probably be really hungry as 3 pm rolls around... I saw the high ratio of five star reviews Kin Zabb has been getting on here and decided I had to give it a go. I honestly had very low expectations being that it was so small and in a little shopping centre but take a look at the menu! It's quite a bit of stuff and I've enjoyed everything i've tried so far. The owner seems like a really nice guy. I had been itching to try a poke bowl for the first time somewhere and I went with raw salmon bowl and really enjoyed it... half and half sauce (half sweet half spicy mayo, give it a shot!) I asked what was good and what the people who work there like and so far the suggestion to try the Sea Roll was a solid choice... Love the spicy mayo and eel sauce here (i'm not an expert!) These tempura shrimp based rolls were one of my favorites of all time. Today, I got the Brownie California Roll as I was curious to try the eel, and enjoyed it fearing it would maybe be overpoweringly fishy it really wasn't. Since I tend to stop by here late and well past noon i can't tell you what the normal lunch hour is like, but the times i've dropped in it was pretty much just me and the hired help. Food is made to order and delivered pretty quickly. Give it a shot and keep coming back to keep this place going! Fantastic rolls here 5/5

4/22/26 This family…read moreowned business was highly recommended by a local friend and I had promised to check this place out the next time I was in town. Well Yelpers, I've found my new fave Northwest Arkansas restaurant! TBH, I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. It looked like a modernized restaurant with an open kitchen. I opened the door to the restaurant and waited to check in and a handsome young boy asked if I had reservations and I advised I didn't and he asked if I wanted to sit indoor or outdoor. He grabbed a menu and helped me to my table. I was quickly greeted by a staff member and given a glass of water and was told that there isn't an assigned server but that multiple staff members will work together to attend my table. After eating American and Italian food all week on my business travels, I was craving some authentic simple home cooked food and this location brought me virtually home for dinner. For those of you that know me or have been following my review journey, have gotten to know my household ethnicities. When I saw the House 1830 Menu, it was a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Laotian food! The color purple was present from accent walls by the kitchen to my cloth napkin on the plate sets, to the "seasonal" menu font color all tie together with staff uniforms including the outdoor purple umbrella above the outdoor seating space. They even have custom pillows on the bench seating with the House 1830 logos. Susana, one of the owners came to greet me and asked if I've been here before or if it's my first time. She shared that her husband Binh was the head chef today and many patrons typically think it's a fusion restaurant but it's really a family inspired menu that keeps the food as authentic as possible. Binh is Vietnamese and their sister in law Bé is Laotian. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bé as she was celebrating her birthday elsewhere as she should. Susana shared that her contribution is the inspired cocktail menu...which had so many yummy options that you don't see anywhere else. They had a Lychee Martini on the menu but I see it often everywhere so I ordered the Longan Martini to try and it was delish! I started with my roots and ordered a Vietnamese House Sampler described as a sampling of the crowd favorite starters. Cha Gio | Mini Banh Xeo | Bo Xien Tam for $21. The eggrolls were crispy and had the right amount of filling well seasoned, the Bite-size Banh Xeo shrimp crepes was light and the flash fried marinated beef skewers were seasoned to perfection with a family marinade. Lettuce, cilantro, mint along with the various nuoc cham (dipping sauces) were great! I didn't want to fill up as I wanted one of my favorite Lao dishes Nam Khao - Crispy red curry seasoned rice combined with small chunks of cured pork, and spices. It comes with lettuce, mint, cilantro where you can eat it like a lettuce wrap or eat it as is like fried rice for $18. This light entree for me hit the spot. The staff was exceptional, occasionally stopping g by to check if my water was ok or if I needed anything. I went to check out the bathroom to wash my hands and thought the wall murals were trendy and happy to see the restrooms were clean. I stopped at the open kitchen and complimented the chef and his staff on my delicious meal. They were very cheery and thankful for the compliment. Went back to my table and contemplated another cocktail or dessert but I was really beyond stuffed and figured I'll be back and to save options for my next visit. Chef Binh stopped by my table and we started talking about a little of everything. The restaurant concept, the seasonally inspired menu and to keep things fun for regular diners, shhhh....you didn't hear it from me...but there's even a secret menu that changes often! You'll have to ask or sign up to get the details! You don't get many seasonal menu options from Asian restaurants so I love that they have a seasonal menu and a secret one that only the special members know about! Come check out House 1830! You will not be disappointed yes, I'll be back to visit Binh, Susana and team! Thanks for the hospitality! Thank you, Zerric for the best recommendation! Xoxo

The food has incredible depth of flavor and is perfectly cooked with so much care and intention. We shared the combo appetizer, Tiger Steak, a soup, and the curry salmon. Every single dish was absolutely divine. The flavors were bold, balanced, and truly memorable. The staff was just as impressive as the food. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This will absolutely be the place I bring out of town guests when I want to wow them.
