Pool hall and arcade located across the Aberdeen center and next to the Raddison hotel. Decent place to kill a few hours. You don't see arcades in the US anymore so it's refreshing to come here. Also super super noisy. They have pool, darts, video games and ticket games, with an automated redemption center which is cool.

A good place to hangout and enjoy many different entertainments ranging from arcades to billiards to LAN Pc gaming with your bros or sis. All of these in one place! Keep in mind that THEYRE MOVING to another location within the complex next month and WILL BE CLOSING from 18-21 June. This place is CASH ONLY. It has an ATM and a coin exchanger machine in case you forget to bring cash or don't have any small changes. It also offers some snacks such as bubble tea and sandwich for those of you craving for food. Opens until late at night and usually gets busier the later it gets. I came here during midday and found out that they did not operate most of their dart machines and their Pc computers before 5 PM. So if you're looking to play either one of these, come after 5.

Pretty chill and cool place, nice staffs and clean place. At the corner in the parking lot. Walkable to skytrain and lots of parking spaces. Reasonable prices and quite a few games. A few people but not super packed. $2 A's deposit for the dart, but you get it back when you return the darts. If you win the racing game as 1st place, you get one extra free game

A unique and inexpensive pool, snooker, arcade, online gaming, mahjong, and darts place. It's unique in that there aren't many places like this around. Bring friends and have some fun in all the different activities! Go for: a fun and relatively inexpensive night out playing some games Don't go for: food and drinks (offerings here are either over priced or of little and low quality and quantity)

New game on board to Vancouver!   Snookball, hybrid of soccer and snooker! So cool!

Their arcade machines are my main highlights, as I don't play pool much, or online gaming.

We came by on a Friday afternoon and purchase the $20 package for (if I remember correctly) 105 "points" to play with. Each machine can take anywhere from 12 to 21 (there may be a higher cost one that we missed) "points" for each attempt. I will say that we VERY quickly went through the $20, and the hubby ended up getting another $20 reload and asked if one of the games could be reset. The employee was very nice and helped reset the game, and we were (eventually) able to win one of the plushes! It's a clean area, and it seems to be a favorite for groups of friends and couples. The plushes are cute, and some are available for purchase (if you just have to have it!). I wouldn't mind going back again, though my heart dropped each time the claw grabbed the toy and immediately dropped it instead of moving to the chute with it. :') It's in the Aberdeen Centre, 2nd story!

Parking could be hard to find as it was a shared parking lot. I came here to experience my very first VR recently with a group. I was extremely excited as I've heard a lot about VR; however, I was also a little hesitant because I did not have any gaming cells in my body. Upon entering the place, I was a little surprised at how "unadorned" the place and the booths looked. This wasn't what I had seen at the other VR places I have had site visits at. We were each placed in a booth. The Asian staff (the only one there) gave us some pointers, set up our equipment on our heads, and told us to follow the "tutorial" and navigate around the system first. Reasons for my 1-star: 1) Upon putting on my headset, I immediately noticed how blurry my view was, and it was blurry the entire time. I had to tilt my head at times to see if I could see better from certain angles. No such luck. I had expected it to be high definition or at least clear? 2) The tutorial itself was so useless. It didn't help at all with the game that we played after. It was also pre-programmed and gave me a "good job" even during the times I didn't do what was asked. 3) The staff was extremely unpleasant. It was my first VR (I was sure I wasn't not the only one) and it took me a little longer to get the hang of what I should be doing for the game. He pulled aside my headset and started yelling at me, how I wasn't supposed to do this and that, blah blah blah. I also heard a loud impatient sigh after his yelling. He made me feel so STUPID. Because of this negative feeling (plus how blurry it was), I didn't really have fun afterwards. Once I was done, I stood around the booths to watch other people play. One of the people we came with said "I was watching you and you were hilarious! I saw him yelling at you. That was not nice at all! He was also yelling at XYZ as well." Another person came and commented how blurry it was. We both concluded that it wasn't "user problem." Guess this place didn't have state of the art technology. I could see how VR would be a total out of this world experience. Unfortunately, both the technology and the customer service at Breakout VR did not offer such an experience.

We got to choose from breaded or non-breaded and a few different flavours of wings like Salt & Pepper, Smokey BBQ, Sweet Heat, and Spicy Buffalo. It was about a 20-30 minute wait for the wings so we did find it a bit long. The service was average and nothing notable. But when the wings did arrive, they were served with a ranch dipping sauce and it was hot & fresh! We got a few more rounds afterwards (that didn't look or weren't plated as nicely but still tasted good) and enjoyed it a lot. It was $25 for AYCE wings but it also included a $10 credit to play any of their arcade games. That's a pretty good deal in our opinions! We'd likely return for more wings if we feel like eating abnormal amounts again!

Parking is plentiful in the mall lot. The place is pretty full of life. There is a large arcade with plenty of relatively modern games (most are G to PG themed), and a section for table tennis and pool. Place has a relatively loungeish feel, which is great for those in their 20s. Some kiddie games provide tickets, which can be redeemed for points. And just like a Chuck E Cheese, the ticket costs are insane. The place also has a large food section with fast food, as well as spaces for private parties. Not a bad place to check out and kill some time.

But if you've made it this far, let me tell you about the magical and prehistoric collector's items available at John's Jukes. One of the Jukeboxes is fashioned to look like the back of a hot pink convertible, perfect for making your living room look like Pop Tate's Soda Shop in Archie Comics. Most of the other ones can be summed up by referencing the opening montage for Happy Days. There is also a wide variety of pinball machines, with every co-opted franchise from Star Wars to Kiss, and a few video game consoles that have been manhandled by fastidious fingers for over 40 years. But it's a high price to pay for nostalgia, with items ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. If you do miss Frogger that much though, it's the right place to go, just make sure that you have a truck nearby so you don't have to maneuver the console through traffic.
