Visited Glitch early evening for a birthday get together. Something unique about glitch is that you can play old school video games from your table which is pretty cool. It was really nostalgic and we were provided with Wii remotes when we sat down. I think different tables might have different consoles because there are quite a few available. The staff was friendly and food was brought out promptly. The ordering is pretty easy too, on the table there is a QR code with the drink menu then you order at the bar and another QR code for ordering food. You pay for your food through the QR link so it's really convenient to get everything done. There were a decent amount of arcade games around the bar that were pretty available to play during our visit. I wonder how it would be like later on in the evening though

This is more of a 4.5 star rating! We come to Glitch every Tuesday to play Trivia and it's a bumping place to be! They also have "club" DJ nights on Fridays and Saturdays, karaoke other nights and some fun events with Drag Queens or Super Smash Bro. Tournaments. I view Glitch as an OG Games bar compared to Greta Bar, but also like the mini version of Greta Bar. Glitch has a decent food menu - We love their burgers and tater tots as a side are always so fun. They've recently revamped their menu to include poutine and milkshakes. I've been hoping for some sweet non-alcoholic treat so I'm stoked about the milkshakes but it often feels like every other week they don't have chicken wings or milkshakes. Nonetheless, this is still a super fun bar to hang out at with lots of nostalgic console games and fun arcade games like basketball, skeeball and pinball. They have super fun drinks like the slushees (and have added some additions in the years I've come here now) and cool cocktails (they have a Barbie theme right now and some of them have pop rocks, nerds, and shark gummies!) The service is always great even though sometimes they are slammed. They're all super friendly and have never had any negative interactions which sometimes can feel commonplace in some bars around Vancouver. The point (half point) dock was a slight wish for more food diversity like dessert or a salad..... but I also get that this is probably not their end goal but as regular patrons of trivia I would be stoked for more food options. Oh, and visit the women's bathroom and the single bathroom if you can!

Super fun video arcade bar..from the states and brought my daughter and her BFF here for their 19th birthday since you can drink in Canada at 19. Great experience, waitress was super sweet and accommodating to first time drinkers palates.. got the slushy flight and then additional slushies. Fun booths available to play WII and other games. Great place for the younger crowd.. the Seth Rogan bathroom experience is like none other haha! And the ladies room with Ryan Reynold..just a great experience for the ladies. 10/10 would come back even though I'm so old!

Atmosphere: 0/1 Service: 0/1 Food: 1/3 My friends and I came to check this place out since we're a huge fan of gaming and nerd-themed bars - and were highly disappointed. The controllers were dirty (we wanted to try some games but the controllers were absolutely disgusting) and many of the arcade machines were unplayable. As well, compared to other gaming bars with specialized themed food/drink/videos playing, Glitch for the most part only has standard food/drink (with a very limited menu) and for some reason was playing sports on tv (??) Overall Glitch feels like a regular bar that slapped on a gaming skin without really realizing the core of how to really create that experience. They definitely missed the mark by a longshot. The service was also very sparse for being one of few tables in the bar at the time too. My bellini was good, but honestly the overall experience was quite lame and we won't be coming back.

The drinks are fun and the ambiance is great for hanging with friends! Everyone was super friendly and respectful, I'm very pleased with my experience.

My friend and I came across this place while we were strolling through the area, the neon lights outside caught our eye. Once we entered the gaming vibe was so nostalgic. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and we sat at a table with a nintendo 64 system ready to play. You pay for the controllers and while you wait for food it's a great distraction! My friend and I order 2 drinks each, The princess peach sangria, sharknado TMNT, and margarita- all delicious!! The only con was the wait for the wings we ordered, it took 40min to get but once we reminded our waitress she was super kind that she took it off our bill and let us play a game for free. All in all def would come back Also, make sure to push the button in the family washroom - a vibe in itself lol!

SO SO FUN. This barcade has a small range of arcade games that you can play with you friends, a pool table and a bunch of tables with different game console. I ordered some drinks and food with my boyfriend and played 2 hours of wii. The employees there are also really nice and helpful!! I would recommend this play for a night out with friends or for team bonding ( they have trivia every Tuesday!)

I love this bar! This bar has flights of spiked slushies! There are lots of games to play. And the staff here is wonderful. Shout out to Mike and Stephanie for making it an awesome time every time I come here. Lots of arcarde games. They have hoops, pinball, nintendo, and a bunch of stuff to do with friends here. Lots of different beers on tap.

New arcade bar on West Broadway in Kitsilano! Soft opening until Feb 29th. Really excited that there is a fun hang out spot in this area that's not "just a bar". Happy hour Monday to Friday from 3-6pm with high ball and beer specials. Apparently they serve food on certain days too but the day we were there they did not have food available. The bar itself is definitely kitschy and divey with the neon lights and the vintage movie posters. Lots of arcade games and video games available, pool, air hockey, skeeball, darts, pinball.. etc. There is also jenga, connect four and other games available too if you choose to just sit at the table and not play the arcade games. They do have an ATM on site but bring cash just in case so you can make change easily for the games. There are also couches with TVs in front of them if you choose to play video games with your friends instead. Beer and drinks selection is quite good with a good selection of local beers on tap. Will definitely be back to try some food next, apparently the burger is quite good! P.S. the wall paper in the ladies' bathroom is a collage of Ryan Reynold's photos - hilarious!!

My wild salmon burger was juicy and well seasoned, and the accompanying salad was immaculately fresh. My husband's crab benny sported perfectly poached eggs atop crisp crabcakes. The hotel is a listed heritage building, and the diner ambience definitely reflects that too. Looks like something from the early 20th century, when people travelled by train and wore suits and dresses everywhere. The restaurant is elevated several steps from street level, which also means that the view from the dining room is definitely something special. Staff are very professional. No complaints. I had the prime rib hash. Basically poached eggs on a bed of aragula, hash browns, prime rib chunks, and hollandaise on top. Delicious. Definitely worth visiting if one wants to experience something from a bygone era. They definitely don't build places like these anymore.

My group was sat on the "patio" which is conveniently placed on the second floor of the building with large open air windows overlooking the beach, and bay. One of the nicest things about the patio is that it has a roof, so it's possible to enjoy the fresh air without getting a sunburn. Our server was polite, cheery and returned to our table at great pace. She made recommendations to help us sort through the massive beer list, and also understood the menu well enough to comment on all of the food items available. The food itself has improved a lot from what I previously remember being available at CRAFT in Olympic Village. The Tuna Poke was fresh and crisp-tasting and the beers were ice cold and served quickly. I'd recommend this place as a post-beach spot with friends, or also to kickstart a night on the town. Levi, the bartender, was cool and stayed busy but kept things moving with good service. The standout was the frozen Irish coffee. Baby when I tell you it was good, I'm not exaggerating!!!! I had two and honestly wanted a third. It's made with Jameson, Baileys Irish cream, vanilla cream, and coffee, topped with whipped cream and coffee beans. Easily the highlight of the meal. I also ordered the Queen Bee pizza, which was cheesy, greasy, and solid overall. The jalapeño relish and hot honey gave it a nice spicy kick that made it stand out more than your typical bar pizza. Overall, this turned into a way better late-night stop than I expected. I wish I could blink my eyes and pop in Vancouver right quick just for this drink!

I usually order the Healthy Hash whilst my partner likes skipping around the menu. The well-seasoned hash sports plenty of crisp veggies (zucchini, tomatoes--both fresh and sun-dried--and yams) topped with a couple of perfectly poached eggs. Today my partner ordered the Chorizo Avocado Benny, and while it wasn't one of his favourites, he'd order it again. The chorizo sausage was surprisingly bland however. Service was well-intentioned although a bit haphazard. Not our server's fault because he was the only one on duty whilst guests continued to stream in. Maybe the secret is already out...

I thought it was a mirage at first, but I walked up and touched it so I knew it was real. And it was exactly what we needed after a not insignificant amount of walking around Vancouver (we were touristing) and it was lunch time. Stanley Park Brewing is larger inside than it appears outside. With its outdoor seating and multiple public and private dining rooms its footprint is roughly the size of Rhode Island. (ok, maybe not THAT big...but it is expansive). Stanley Park Brewing is located not far from the entrance to Stanley Park so the views and the surroundings were all very beautiful. A tall clump of trees over here, a some flowering bushes over there...just lush greenery in every direction...and tennis courts. The entire area was clean and well maintained. When we arrived we were told there would be about a 15 (US) minute wait, but that 15 (US) minutes turned into about 5, as we were seated almost immediately at a table adjacent to the bar. The weather was amazing that day (about 72° F) so all the doors and windows were open so there was plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. Our server arrived with cold water (muchly needed!) and gave us the beer and food menus. Congo and I opted for a flight of beers and the Smokey Island pizza because the maple candied bacon bits, charred pineapple, and jalapeño caught my attention. (Relax, people, it was personal pan pizza size.) For my flight of four I chose: SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale, Waypoint Hazy Pale Ale, Parklandia Hazy IPA, and Noble Pilsner. Each was very good with its own unique tastes and flavour palettes. Our food orders took about 15 minutes to arrive and the food was hot and accurate. The Smokey Island pizza was *Chef's Kiss*, while the SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale from my flight was so good I had to get a pint as well. Our server (Jordan) who was also the bartender. Jordan was knowledgeable about the beers and was able to answer any questions about menu without having to consult someone else. He also suggested the Smokey Island pizza, and for that alone he and I can be good friends. The entire staff was constantly in motion, whether sitting new guests, handling drink refills, cleaning tables, or anything else. Great teamwork all around. What started as a chance visit turned into one of our favorite lunch stops in Vancouver. Congo and I thank you.

I'd be lying if I said this didn't catch me off guard a bit and even rubbed me the wrong a little, mostly because I had my mind set on what I wanted but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and accepted his recommendation. Again, I'll admit that I was a little pessimistic during the wait. I told my girlfriend that I hoped the Philly was as good as he thought it was because if not, I was going to be severely disappointed and my review would highlight that. I gotta say, great call from the gentleman. The Philly wasn't the most traditional I've ever had but it was a very yummy variation with nice textural differences that made it an abundantly enjoyable experience. The meat was cooked very well, the cheese was gooey, the fried onions gave it a great crunchy bite and that sauce was a scene stealer. All in all, what started off as a bit of an uncomfortable experience ended in one of our favorite dinner outings of our trip. The only extra detail that I'd like to share to the owner is to update his menu highlighting his personal recommendations so people lean towards those more. I like to take recommendations and ask for them consistently but maybe others wouldn't have appreciated it and could've taken it a bit out of context.
