Since we didn't have any rain for a few weeks afterward, I had no way of knowing the repair wasn't done correctly. When it finally rained, the leak came back--and it was actually worse than before. I contacted the owner expecting them to stand behind their work, but instead I was told it would cost me even more money for them to come back and do what they originally said they were going to do. I don't believe a customer should have to pay twice because the original repair was incomplete. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the work and the lack of accountability. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. No wonder they are permanently out of business.

Because of his years of experience, he was able to quickly assess the damage and quote me a price on the spot. By the same afternoon, I received a written proposal for my roof repair. After two weeks of accepting bids for my roof repair, I chose Dutch's. They were not the cheapest but I personally felt that Mr. Duchess had the best grasp of what needed to be done with my roof. Much to my amazement, they were able to send a crew out to my home two days later. Granted, I had my roof worked on in the winter time and not during hurricane season. The crew started promptly at 7:30am and finished up around 3:30pm. The two roofers were friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what they were doing and the different stages of the repairs. Overall, the job was completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner. The scope of the work was finished as promised in the Roof Repair Proposal. With Dutch's Roof Repair, I did NOT have to put a 50% downpayment for the work as some other roofing companies require and that was a big plus. Payment in full is due the day of completion.
