She was nearly denied boarding and had to apply for an emergency visa on the spot. It was incredibly stressful and cost us extra money due to their error. When she called Julie afterward, LL Travel refused to reimburse her and claimed they tried to contact her. We were never notified ahead of time that the visa was missing or needed to be picked up separately. Mistakes happen--but refusing to take responsibility is unacceptable. I ended up saving $100 for my ticket to Taiwan. I always call around to find the best deals on plane tickets, and so far E Travel & Tours has been able to provide the best price every time. Their pricing beats Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz and even the popular Chinese travel agency "Just Holiday". Jessie is very responsive through phone and emails which I appreciate. Well, I flip-flopped at least 5 times. Jessie was as helpful to me as the first time. She was very patient and resourceful. I kept honest about my indecision and she was extremely cooperative. I finally made up my mind and took one of the options. At the last stage of ticketing, she wrote back and said she got the price down a bit due to currency fluctuation. Happy surprise! Then, I went to Taiwan and things didn't turn out as planned ... short story: I have to change the return flight several times. Jessie really helped out. She found several options and booked my flight back. (Bonus: I sent her requests during her late hours and she did her best to respond after hours.) I couldn't have been in better hands. The airline could see my reservation, but told me Booking.com had full control and had to process the payment. I spent hours calling support, only to be told "there is nothing they can do." Even after the airline added the service, Booking.com refused to release the payment link or unlock the booking. Their escalation team promised to follow up by phone or email -- I received neither. Because of Booking.com's system, I was forced into last-minute airport fees that cost nearly double. This is unacceptable. If they take your money for a flight, the least they should do is give you access to manage your booking. Their customer service is slow, unhelpful, and takes no responsibility for the problems their system creates. If you value your time or money, avoid Booking.com for flights. The risk is simply not worth it.

Ruh roh…read more For those that don't know, Schengen Visa requirements state that your passport has to be valid for three months from your departure date from the EU. Even expedited service on the US gov website stated it would take 2-3 weeks. Casto Travel to the rescue! I literally had one week to get my passport renewed (Monday to Monday). Linda not only got me sorted, but also helped me re-take my passport photo on the spot. Had I not mistakenly slipped up on some paper work, I would have had my passport in two days. Instead, everything was ready and good to go within four days. Amazing. I spent probably a maximum of 15min there for the initial paperwork. I don't expect to be renewing/applying for passports often - but I'll definitely be sending folks to Linda. A+, would renew again (in 10 years).
