My sisters and I stopped at this adorable little deli on our way to Boise. We were coming from Salt Lake City and wanted good food to energize us for the rest of our journey. We drove 13 miles out of the way because of the 5 star Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed! My sister, a vegan, has a hard time finding food she can eat on the road but was in heaven with their veggie sandwich. I had the brisket and was also in heaven. Such a hidden gem! We stopped to check out the historic downtown on our way back to California and spotted this place and as soon as we walked in, we knew we made the right choice. Great sandwich options, a variety of beer and wine, and a kids menu as well!!! The kids got the Mac and cheese (amazing)!!! and it came with a complementary mini cheesecake. My husband and I split the club sandwich and it was definitely large rough to share. The soup of the sat (turkey and vegetables) was amazing as well. The customer service was amazing and the environment is very classy as well, without being stuffy or pretentious. I did beg the owner to open another location near Sacramento and you never know..... Completely worth the drive off the interstate! Great sandwiches and cute items to browse while you wait. Turkey/Cranberry is one of my favorites and it did not disappoint. Portions are very large. Been a couple weeks since we went here but it's definitely a quality place and would like to go back. First thing is the atmosphere is great. It's very clean and newly updated even though it's in the downtown old Rupert. Nice booths and tables to eat your food at. They have a tiny little shopping area and the back has drinks. Most alcohol but some options back there. Menu is easy to read and in plain sight, there was a special available which is what I ended up getting. Since I'm talking about all the positives I'll just keep rolling with them. We got a pretzel bun BLT that included avocado. The bun was amazing!! It was $10 for also chips and a side. I enjoyed my meal sandwich the most out of my meal. We did get a side of clam chowder and it was different then any clam chowder I've had but very good. Downfalls and why this place isn't a 5 star but with a few adjustments I think it can be. First off there wasn't enough bacon on my BLT. If it's the only source of meat on the sandwich and when that happens you need to load it up other wise it becomes mostly bun. Which luckily the bun was fantastic but I still like my ratios to be even. My side I ordered was coleslaw but then they told me they were out... my only other options where macro salad or potato salad which I'm not a huge fan of... so I ended up only tasting my side and my kid ended eating it. Also they don't give you any other option of chips beside plain potato. Which is fine but I'd definitely think it be better to have multiple options for your customers. Basically I paid $10 for a sandwich because I didn't really eat my sides, yes it was pretty good but I think if they had some more options for sides I would have enjoyed my meal more. Also this place did not have a kids menu from what I could see. So my kids just ate the soups and my sides. Kid options would be awesome. Overall a great place but a few little adjustments could make this place amazing!! Non the less we will be back to try more. read more

This deli is located on the Rupert town square. It is most definitely worth it to exit the Interstate and stop here for food and drink. Had lunch going to and returning from Boise. Great selections for sandwiches and hot, homemade soups and a friendly staff. Brisket w onions, cheese, and sauce on a pretzel roll with a cup of chowder was perfect on a cold, snowy day. Stopped by for lunch one Sunday and did not regret it. My first sandwich was the texan, pulled pork on jalapeno cornbread. It was so good. My next visit I grabbed the BLATO, BLT w/avocado, and it was another winner. More recently I picked up The Hampton and OMG I think I found my new favorite. Everything was fresh, flavorful and prepared exactly as ordered (I take mine without onion). Next is going to be the spicy italian and I'm sure E Street will continue to impress. This place is so good! I found it on yelp while traveling through the area and based on the good reviews I decided to try it. I have to agree with all the other positive reviews-definitely worth the short trip off the freeway! I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the southwest salad. Both were so good and very fresh. The chicken on it was delicious, very soft and perfect flavoring. You could tell everything was freshly made. We met the owner who was extremely nice and very accommodating with customizations to our orders. I loved the ambiance here and the nice touch of having real silverware, not plastic. First tried them when at the craft fair. Loved it so much I asked my husband to bring me one to work and it was even better! They don't over use sauces and they add plenty of veggies which I love. What an impressive deli for such a small town! I had the Pesto Turkey Sandwich with the Purple Coleslaw! Starting with the sandwich, it was as fresh as can be. The vegetables were incredible, and so was the wheat bread. The Purple Coleslaw had a perfect crunch, and flavor! Everything was very very impressive. The store itself was VERY clean, and updated with a wonderful atmosphere..could use some music! The service was a little slow (waited about 10 minutes for my food, with a couple in front of me) but with the kindness of the employees and quality of the food, it was worth it! Heard about this place and I had to try it. Good selection of sandwiches and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the corned beef with swiss on sour dough sliced bread and it was very good. It came with a large sliced pickle and some potato chips. Staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I am definitely going to eat here again and very soon. read more
