I called a few places prior to trying Luminous and they charge you for a cut and a blow out is additional! I'm sorry but I think it's ridiculous to charge for a blow out after someone is already paying for a service. But anyway!!! Not the case at luminous, my cut and blow was included with my cut and I found that business practice to be extremely fair! Still, I trusted her recommendation and returned for a follow-up. I arrived 10 minutes late due to a family emergency, which I clearly explained to the staff. I also mentioned I had a flight in just a few hours. Despite this, I was left waiting for an entire hour before being informed that Amela would only be able to cut my hair--not color it. A client's time is just as valuable as the stylist's. If being 10 minutes late was truly going to prevent the full service, that should have been communicated upfront--instead of making me wait unnecessarily. Frankly, I wouldn't want someone working on my hair who thinks ten minutes is enough time to rush through a proper appointment. This experience was deeply unprofessional and inconsiderate. It was my first time doing anything like this, so I thought they fully dry your hair they do not they just get the wetness out.
