Takes cash only. At time of appt I was not informed. I also requested that I wanted color and consultation but I was only allotted to a hair cut. And when I walk in, it was more disappointing to witness the current client being talked into liking her hair. I didn't get any service. So it's perhaps not the most reliable review. But too many factors lead me to feel disappointed. I had to walk out and try different ATMs but my luck,.. perhaps a good thing.. I couldn't keep the appt. Been here a few times for a haircut. I had Jenny, it was ok nothing too special. The price was good for a wash and haircut, paid just $25 and I have really long hair. I did not feel comfortable there, the crowd is very gossipy and aren't too open to new people. I guess that's what happens when you have so many regulars and dont need new people. They sometimes say they are always buy but when driving by there arent many people there. Wont ever go back here but its ok for a last minute thing. read more

You get what you pay for. They're good for a quick cheap haircut, as long as you're willing to let them do only what they want to do. Twice I went here to get my hair lightened. Once when I had black hair and wanted it brown. My colorist swore she didn't need to bleach it out and that the brown dye would cover the black. $80 later it was still black. And they had the nerve to charge me the full price when I made the mistake of coming back! I reluctantly gave them a second chance when I needed my roots done from light brown to platinum blonde. I told the colorist that I had my hair double processed, so we should double process the roots. She insisted otherwise, like an idiot I trusted her and I had a layer of dirty blonde in between the platinum and incoming light brown. I said forget it and a month later I dyed it brown again and I had an awkward fade for 2 years. I had one good hairdresser here. Everyone else is a nightmare. read more

I started coming here bc I heard they did a great job and were greatly priced, only to find out that you get what you pay for. I went three times to get my hair highlighted and then to have my roots done. The first time I went, it all came out well, but a few days after, I noticed my hair looked awfully yellow and cheap, something that never happened before when I had my hair done in other places. This last time I went to get my highlights redone, I asked for it to be less yellow and more white. (I was getting my hair done by Carissa, "the best hair colorist there") My hair came out super yellow and I looked like a ridiculous walking highlighter (the marker), that received a free hair dye job as practice for a training stylist. I went back and of course, the first thing I received was an attitude even though I was clearly embarrassed to be that annoying person who complains. My apologies and patience served no purpose, I still received a condescending attitude and walked out looking brighter than a neon yellow color. In conclusion, I ended up having to dye my hair darker bc I felt my self esteem decrease like 200% and now I am $120 poorer. K, Thanks!!!! (NEVER AGAIN) read more

Giorgio's is great- I started going here after half of the staff from Palace (down the block, shitty new boss) moved here and I am just as happy. Angela does fantastic blonde highlights- sometimes they need a wash or two to fade to the perfect color, but they always do. I've been going to her for at least two years. The decor is nothing fancy, but as long as my hair looks good in the end, who cares. Plus, everyone who works there is really nice. The best part is the price- $65 for a full head of highlights and a cut and blowdry. Who can beat that? read more

I went to Giorgio's after reading the reviews on Yelp. This place is terrible. My hair stylist did not do a good job. I told her I wanted highlights clearly specifying that they should be a medium to dark brown, not blonde. After removing the foil she put dye on my hair for about 1 minute before deciding that was enough time. Needless to say they came out blonde. I told her I needed them redone because they were too light. She replied that if I went any darker you would not be able to see them. I have black hair. This place may be good for retired ladies. (I saw a bunch getting their hair fluffed up here). I would not recommend it at all for someone with dark brown or black hair. Apparently, they do not know how to highlight on hair that isn't blonde. read more

Women at this place where beyond terrible, I went in there ask for a hair cut price and they all look at me and they were pushing me to get some jimmy to do it later in the day... None of them seems any friendly at all.. Went there because a recommendation of my mother in law.. She gets her hair done there.. I felt not welcome the soones I walked in, they all looked at me from head to toe, it was just horrible been there for those not even 5 mins I was there asking a question..., really $30 for a hair cut????... I was in a bind and needed a blow out on short notice. I was told about this place by a friend. I called and was relieved to have gotten an appointment no problem. I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early. I was not greeted with a hello, how are you from the receptionist but instead a "what are you here for?" I continued to tell her and she called to someone to wash my hair. I was sent back within a few minutes, I figured ok this is good, I'll be out earlier which is always good, less rushing afterwords. I asked the girl for non sulfate shampoo in which she said sure. She said she had to make it quick because she had someone to wash since her timer went off. The best part, rushes? Well that's a bummer. I was sent to Arthur who was very nice and socialable. However, he took about an hour to blow out my hair. I have thin, fairly short hair. I get blow outs often and have never been in a chair more than 20 minutes. Brushes were getting stuck, there were bumps in my hair from how the brushes were turned and placed while blow drying. I said i didn't like how it looked esp the back, suggested he use a bigger round brush in which he tried but there were dents that were left. I had to suggest using a serum because my hair was so puffy! I could have done it better. It looked like when you take your hair out of a pony tail. I had to go by that point. As i went to pay, again the receptionist was not friendly, as a first time costumer I thought maybe she would said "how was it?" Nope. She was busy chatting with someone else. I handed her the money in which she didn't pay attention and so i left it on the counter and gave a tip and that was that. read more

My mom and I have been going to this Giorgios for years. Its always busy so they have to be doing something right. I can only speak for my girl Carissa. She's the only one there that has touched my hair. But she does a great job. She also did my hair for my prom (I'm now 22 years old). Its a price you cant beat for a good service. read more

I have been going to Giorgio's for years and love the work they do. I get my hair cut and highlighted by Clarissa and she does wonders with my hair. She has so many skills and is always giving me new looks. Giorgio's salon provides high quality work and I truly recommend them. They have amazing prices and I always feel welcome when I am there. I also, recommend Janice the manicurist/make up artist/waxer! She has given me such flawless looks for weddings, proms, sweet sixteens etc. and is the exceptional at what she does from her many years of experience. Janice truly makes me feel pampered every time I sit down in her chair. I enjoy greatly the way Janice waxes my eyebrows she not only shapes them, but I never leave her with pain or redness which I have received in other salons before. What I love most about Janice is how she has all the latest make up lines such as MAC and is always update to date on all the new nail polish colors and designs out there especially the ones the celebrities are wearing.
