I spoke with the owner who was very polite and informative. He made sure I knew what was expected before I brought her down. He really did not have to go over it with me as it is the customer's responsibility to know. However it was clear he did not want me to be surprised nor disappointed. He got Big Bertha in the following day!!! We were able to drop her off the night before and leave the keys in their locked mailbox for after hours. The parking lot is very well lit. This came in handy as we had to do an impromptu last minute adjustment to one of Bertha's side markers. On the day of the inspection they were able to answer my typical "what is this thingy for?" on Big Bertha. They completed the inspection and she was ready just in time for us to race to the DMV and complete the paperwork before the weekend. We drove from Fairfield to Davis for this service. When trying to schedule it locally we told they only do one a day and were scheduled a month out. It was well worth the drive to Davis, for the price, customer service and nearby tacos. Would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone and look forward to doing business again.
