She went there to get the smog and someone who she believed to be "the owner" of the establishment just rude out flatly told her "That's not my coupon". I do a lot of driving on long trips and always take it in for a check up before heading out. Kevin is amazing! He can diagnose 90% of any issues [we have had] over the phone and when we take it in, he is exactly right about what the issue is! Kevin is a very honest and trustworthy mechanic and those can be hard to find these days... The shop keeps good records, and lets you know what maintenance is REALLY needed--- and what is just 'recommended' so you can stay within your budget from month to month. I had an awesome experience with them! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the man who helped me when my car broke down but he took such good care of me. I didn't have to follow him to the dealership. He just dropped it off for me and put the keys in the box. I was quoted more money and a longer wait by a company that was local to Dixon. I originally was going to have it towed about 5 miles. This guy towed me from Dixon to Davis for less money and it took him 15 minutes to get out to me. Exceptional service. I really appreciated the friendliness of the Service Advisor, Raina, over the phone and the free towing was simple and easy and convenient. However, I had a time constraint that was unfortunately not met. I had my car brought in and originally I was told that I would have it back within one week. This already seemed like a pretty quick turnaround so I would not have had a problem if it took a little longer, and when I checked in, I was told I would have it back by the following Friday, which was good because I let them know that I needed my car for that weekend. I did not get my car back at this date, which at the end of the day is not the most severe thing of all time, but it did cause pretty drastic inconveniences to my schedule. read more

Paul and Kevin are easy going and make sure they take care of you. I thought it was a great idea that you could set up an appointment through an online form on their website, as this removes the hassle of trying to set up a phone appointment during the busy weekdays. On a Sunday night, I filled out the form for an appointment on Thursday. I followed all the directions on the form, notifying them two business days in advance. The form also stated I would receive an email confirmation in 1 business day. Today is Thursday and I never received that email. I feel like I wasted this whole week waiting for an email that would never arrive. I wanted to give this local business a chance because I love supporting local businesses, but they never even gave me a chance by not sending me an email confirmation. My car failed the SMOG test, and I came here at the recommendation of my usual mechanic. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're a woman. The guy I dealt with was sleazy and extremely condescending. He took one look at me and one look at the car's registration and asked if it was my father's car. After I explained that I'm 30 years old and the car is in my husband's name, he continued to treat me like a naïve teenager. When I came to pick up the car, he even went so far as to tell me in a smug voice "I didn't want to give you bad news over the phone, because I know how emotional you women get." I didn't trust him to give me an accurate quote, and I won't be back. read more
