I looked at several RV Storage places around Reno. I selected EZ for the security. Lasers around the entire parameter. Motion sensors. cameras. Access codes to get in and out. The groundskeeper patrols the place day and night. Monitors camera from his house (onsite), responses to sensors at night. And approaches everyone who goes in that place, even customers to make sure they're only at their campers. And the prices is great. My husband and I found the perfect RV storage at EZ storage all due to the peace of mind it gives us. The groundskeeper and his wife live on the site and do a great job of maintaining and running the day to day business. The safety factor and low price drew us to them even though there are many other places available to us closer to home. The gated and fenced in area require a pass code to get in and out. Tall fences have barbed wire, motion sensors, and am told the keepers have monitoring cameras in their house. During any snowstorms the ways are kept plowed should you need to get to your RV. When someone goes to their RV you can expect to see the friendly on site person drop by on his golf cart for a chat and to make certain no hokey pokey is going on. This storage facility is a joke due to the disorganized nut job Kathy that sits in the office. She looked me in the face on the day I moved out and told me I would be sent a refund for the remaining days that I had prepaid for in that month, and that she would not cash the check that my bank had already sent. I told her specifically that I had called the bank and asked them to stop the check from being sent for late June/July, and that they were not able to stop the check from being mailed, but that they had canceled it. I specifically told her this and asked her to make sure that the check was destroyed or returned to me. She assured me that when she received the checks, she checks the computer to see what the person owes and would then see that I had already moved out and that they would not deposit the check. She said her bookkeeper would mail me a check for the remainder of the current paid month that had been unused. Instead, they sent me a check for a full month and then left me an irate voicemail when my check (the one I told Kathy was stopped) did not clear. She said they had stopped payment on their check and that I now owed them money. Instead of recalling the conversation when I reminded her or being honest, the woman argued with me and then began hanging up on me and refusing to speak to me. This was very upsetting, although it would have been much more upsetting if I had opened and deposited their check already. Fortunately they only owed me for a partial month and since I had not deposited their bad check, I guess at this moment it's mostly their problem. Do not do business with this place and do not especially make any verbal arrangements with them because they will definitely screw it up. This woman Kathy has obviously fried her brain at some point in life which is probably why she spends way too much telling customers awkward personal business about her numerous husbands and car problems and wrought iron collecting and other bizarre issues instead of keeping it simple and businesslike. Buyer beware, and watch your back doing business with this lady! Never mind the mouse problem, which they're aware of & accept as if it's perfectly normal. The person is the real problem here! She obviously forgot our conversation as soon as we had it and did not communicate with the bookkeeper about it as promised because in her mind as soon as it was over it was as if hasn't happened. Too bad for them, because I would have recommended them with caveat for all their weirdness or even used them again if I had a need in the area if not for this bad experience at the end. Kathy, you're cutting off your nose to spite your face and your business practices are shortsighted, stupid, and unprofessional. I will let all the Burners, Nevada residents, truck drivers and other business people that I know not to use your business and I won't be back for my storage needs so you cost yourself more then whatever you think this argument was about today (I wonder if you're going to ever be able to come up with the accurate figure that you originally owed me instead of a check for a full month? Somehow I doubt it.) read more

I was referred to E-Z storage from another company. I reached out to E-Z storage. They were helpful on the phone. They met with me and the driver who was delivering my toy haul trailer and truck that was driven down from Idaho. They helped the tow truck driver get the toy hauler and truck into place for my space. They explained everything efficiently. I am lucky to have found them. While my items wont be there long, I am glad to have found a place that was able to accommodate my situation in a timely manner and assist in the delivery. read more

I have been here for 16 years. (Yeah, I got a LOT of crap) I have seen multiple managers come and go, and they have all been helpful, and tolerant of my coming and going. The owners are absolutely first rate. Yeah, there have been rate hikes. In 16 years, there are going to be! But, there never, ever has been a 50% hike. The rates are more than reasonable. The current managers (as of 8/31/2017) are the best yet. I have had a couple of issues with my doors, but Greg is usually ready to get stuff fixed before I am, so timeliness is not an issue with repairs. I have never had an issue with stuff in outdoor storage being messed with, nor have I had problems with any of my sheds. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!! THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!! They raised the rate on me TWICE in 8 months even though I was PREPAID for a full year. Then refused to let my contracted driver to drop it off which cost me even more money, even though I was paid in full for my spot trough the end of the year. I have been with EZ Storage for many years. Last year they jacked the price on me by 50% for which they said "sorry no grandfathering in, even for long time customers, you are welcome to look for another storage place if you dont like it". I am a loyal customer, so I decided to stay even with a 50% rate hike. My RV was in the shop being worked on for several months. When the shop tried to deliver the RV this terrible place and park it in the spot I PREPAID FOR for a full year, the woman who picked up the phone, I think her name is Nora, said that she cannot let them in until I make a payment. I stated to her that I already made a payment with Shannon the manager and PREPAID for a full year. She said "Well the rates are different now and you have 2 options: Option 1: Pay more. Option 2: Find another storage" I told her that I already paid the higher price and prepaid for the year She said that they changed the price again and eventhough I am prepaid for a year, she wanted me to give her my credit card to charge me again for a SECOND rate hike. I told her that I will consider that but I do not give my credit card over the phone and would be happy to come by in person when I am in town next month, until then they have plenty of credit on my account because I was prepaid through the end of the year, so even at the higher rate next month they would still have a big credit because I was prepaid for the rest of year. Nora just could not understand the concept of a the fact that they had more credit on file for the money that I already paid them than the money she was asking for...... She was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me. When I called back her husband picked up the phone and Nora refused to talk to me until I insisted. She then got on the phone and said that it is not possible for me to talk to the manager Shannon and again reiterated to me that I either agree to pay more or find another storage place, but I am not opening the gate for your driver... mind you not, for the SPACE I ALREADY PAID FOR!!!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I HOPE THE OWNERS OF THIS PLACE TAKE NOTICE. Also, they started to charge for packages being sent there. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF PLACES CHEAPER AND WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you want to be nickle and dimed and then have the rate jacked up with no notice even if you are prepaid for the year, then this is the place for you! read more

The folks that work here couldn't possibly be kinder or more helpful. A+ customer service. I stored my RV here for a few months and even had a motor issue, which Greg helped with. Based on my experience here, I can't imagine how they received poor ratings. User error, perhaps. Will definitely be using again in the future. Thanks guys! read more

Never knew the previous office lady, but the one they have now is organized and friendly to a fault. The maintenance guy is helpful and friendly as well. It's quiet, out of the way, and most of the renters I've talked to are friendly and have been willing to lend a hand. read more
