I visited this store after checking out the good reviews on Yelp for remodeling of my kitchen at my new home. I was so disappointed & upset by this vendor. When we got to the showroom, we couldn't find any cabinets "in-stock" that we like. However, the owner Anna show us some other colors and cabinet samples to us. We picked the style that we liked, and had it "special ordered". It's ~50% more expensive than what they had in stock and were on promotion, but we thought we should get the cabinets that we really liked since we would use them for years. We were told that it would take about 1.5 to 2 months for the special ordered cabinets to arrive. The cabinets arrived on schedule. We did not unpack the cabinets right away since the contractors were not working on the kitchen yet. When they unpacked the cabinets, they found that one of the cabinets, the molding for the top, & some of the fillers were MISSING! So Anna quickly tried to get us the missing cabinet, and it took about another week to get it. By the time we had all the cabinets installed, we found that one of fillers had a different color. It's not a completely different color, but you can see it's DIFFERENT! SO then, we had to ask for an exchange... The color of the molding on top ALSO looked different from the rest of the cabinet. We waited another 3 weeks to get it done. In addition, when we ordered the cabinet, we picked the granite counter top. Anna actually showed us different stone materials, and I pointed at the sample and told her I "wanted" that granite for counter top. However, only when we were to install the counter top, we found they did not include the counter top to our order! Honestly, this store provides cabinets with a just little better quality than IKEA at low prices compared to other stores, but there had been REALLY TOO MUCH trouble dealing with them. I guess you will be SAFE if you are just picking what's already "in-stock" with same size, and same everything. read more

Their response time was very short and I was given a quote with the rough measurements that I provided. To get a more accurate quote, I visited their location. I was welcomed by two very kind employees who helped me redesign my kitchen remodel. They helped me streamline my kitchen and gave me choices of multiple designs. We used E3 for our kitchen at the recommendation of our decorator. Great service, good quality, friendly and helpful staff. My contractor (my son-in-law who is a contractor) was dubious at first. When the cabinets were in I went and picked them up. We live in Gilroy and are out of delivery range. When we put them my son-in-law was impressed. When he remodels his kitchen he is going to E3. My wife loves the quality and the look of the kitchen. We had checked out several other cabinet places (custom, big box, pre-made, etc.) NONE came close to the quality for the price. read more

I had terrible experience with this company. Our contractor recommended it to us. So we paid a visit to the store. The staff promptly help us draw the layout based on our sketch, and gave us a quote that includes a lot of extra. We asked them to remove the extra stuff and re-negotiated the price. After we paid the agreed price, they suddenly wanted to charge us extra for cabinet handles, which they had initially promised to give us for free. The most ridiculous thing was that they claimed it was us who did not want the handles. Fortunately we had a chat history to prove that it was a false claim. Later, we found out that they silently replaced the 30" pantry that we wanted to a 18" with almost the same price during negotiation. Overall, we feel that the staff were dishonest and unethical. Definitely stay away if you can. read more

Anna did an amazing job with my kitchen and bath remodel work. From start to finish everything was clear and all the details handled professionally. Anna made sure to explain all the differences in quality and grades of granite and wood. I found that alone to be really helpful. She also explained the differences in their manufacturing process as compared to some other vendors out there. Be sure to ask her about that you'll see the difference. Highly recommended, would definitely do again and the pricing was totally reasonable. I'd say the hardest parts are just making the decisions on colors and fixtures. read more

Recommended by contractor. Chose my products, spoke about when they were needed which was on a specific date 4 months later. Time came to start my project and I called to schedule delivery. They couldn't find my name or order info. The woman on the phone who was not who I had dealt with throughout the transactions 4 months prior, kept asking me for my husband's name, and insisted that the order was under his name. My contractor called them and they had put the $9.1k order under his name. They called me and told me the order was not assembled because I had not called them to do so. I told them that I had made a special trip to their location 4 months prior, to make sure they knew what date I wanted my order ready. I had asked them at the time if I needed to call them closer to the date we agreed on, and they told me that this was not necessary. They called me 2 days later and told me that my order had indeed been assembled and was ready. Then they called me 2 days later and told me that my order was damaged in shipping and would have to be reordered, and it would take a month to do so. They offered me a 10% ($910) discount. Then they called me a day or so later to tell me my order was ready to go. I told them that I was cancelling the whole project and wanted a refund. I went to the business to get my refund and they tried to tell me again that I should have called them ahead of time to tell them to assemble the order. I was accused of not understanding that there was a language miscommunication on their end. I was again told something about my husband and that he should be asked about what to do. A lovely elderly couple was there, and they were cringing as they heard th this. I got my refund and they told me to come in when I was ready. As I left I said "I will never be ready and THERE IS NO HUSBAND!!!" THEN I got a call from the woman with whom I initially dealt with when I placed the order. She apologized and told me that she went on vacation and failed to inform her colleagues about my order, and had just returned to work "today". She told me they would process a "rush" order free of charge, and give me a $500 discount. read more

A contractor recommended this store to me to visit. He said that the cabinet is very high quality and looks very good, etc. I hurried to the show room, but was quite disappointed at the quality. I opened the cabinets and saw ugly screws in the back of the units everywhere. the cuts and fits of the frame were shabby. The wood looked ok. I loved the honey stained maple unit. The ones that has soft-close hinges for both doors and drawers feel ok, but the ones without are pretty cheap feeling. It would be unfair to rate these with custom cabinets. these are a pre-fab cabinet, and they are value to be had at the price and quality. however, I was looking for something in higher quality of workmanship. The white cabinet which is supposed to be their top of line looked ok, if you are looking for white cabinets. read more

Anna was very helpful for us, and also helped arrange for a marble top replacement for an existing one that we had that was cracked (this was through their marble partner B&B). read more

We shopped at more than fifteen cabinet stores for our kitchen re-model and decided on E3 basically because the quality of the cabinets and the style was what we were looking for. Half the price of something like Kraftmaid, these do the job, beautifully. Cabinets don't have to break the bank to make the kitchen. We worked with Man-Li who went above and beyond in designing with our contractor and making things work. A few minor imperfections such as a soft close not closing right were dealt with right away. She came to our house to fix the drawer and ended up replacing it. I think in any cabinet purchase there is a chance of something not perfect and in our case Man-Li made sure it was what we wanted. read more

Needed to remodel the kitchen in order to expedite selling my condo. A friend suggested E3, and we got a great quote (actually 2 quotes, for counter-top only vs. counter-top plus cabinetry). We were able to pick out the granite and the type of cabinetry with a short visit to the E3 office (Man Li was very helpful, and completely responsive throughout the process). They even accommodated the delivery schedule of new appliances (so new appliances can be installed before they laid down the counter-top). The work was done in less than a week (fast), and I was extremely happy with the quality of the work. In fact, all the appliances fit perfectly even though I only gave them the dimensions before they began work on the cabinetry. Would definitely use them again. We were referred to E3 by a friend and couldn't be happier. Anna was so helpful during our kitchen remodel. We have a very small kitchen, and we thought we would be more restricted in what we could do. However, Anna helped us with our design and planning, and gave us a lot of great ideas as how to maximize our space. We were able to fit more cabinets in a smaller space and are very pleased with the cabinet layout and design. Once we placed the order, everything was ready right on-time which really helped us coordinate the installation. Anna took the time to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and even went beyond that. I must admit that I can be overly critical of the cabinet finish, condition, etc... Anna was patient and professional, and helped me put my mind at ease with even the smallest detail (note: the cabinets are very nice, and much of the problems were probably just in my head). Everyone at E3 was so great in making sure I was happy. The cabinets are all wood with solid construction. They're fairly easy to work with and the installation has been as smooth as I could expect. Choosing an all wood cabinet was important to us and I believe we can really tell the difference in quality. The cabinet styles and selection is somewhat limited when you compare them to other stores, but we found exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend E3 to anyone looking to remodel. I cannot express how happy I am with my bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinets and the quality of their product. I used E3 first back in 2005 during my kitchen remodel and when I decided to remodel my bathroom I knew that I wanted to use them again. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality is EXCELLENT. Man-Li who helped throughout the process of both my kitchen and bath has never let me down. I am probably the most anal customer they have ever had and although I call them 5 times a day they are still very helpful and always answer my questions with a smile. My sloppy contractor stained my marble counter top and I called Man-Li right away to ask her how to get the stain out and she told me she would come by after work to buff out the stain and bring me some cleaning solution. That service definitely exceeded all of my expectations. I would use E3 Kitchen again and have recommended them to all my friends. I had a difficult time looking for a store that had inexpensive but quality kitchen cabinets and service that I could trust. The other stores I've been to had cheap kitchen cabinets, but their service seemed shady. After a couple of months searching, I was happy to find E3 kitchen. Anna was really nice to work with and trust worthy. When my mom changed her mind about the color of the cabinet, she went out of her way to find exactly what my mom wanted. We needed new kitchen and bathroom cabinets for our house remodel and our contractor suggested to visit E3. We had an initial idea of what type of color cabinets we wanted. Although E3 does not have a ton of different styles, we very much liked the cherry shaker cabinets. The customer service was excellent. Fanny was very helpful with suggestions on the size and configuration of the cabinets, which made the our decisions much easier. Fanny provided detailed layouts and designs of how the cabinets would look in our kitchen and bathroom. As expected, the cabinets took two weeks to assemble and they were delivered to our house. We noticed a dent on the sides of one of our cabinets, and E3 immediately replaced that portion. One thing to note, be sure that you confirm with your contractor that you have all the correct sizes of cabinets before you order, because once you order the cabinets, some of them you cannot return. We wanted to make a last minute change and fortunately we were able to return one of the two cabinets. Overall, our experience with E3 was great. The price of the cabinets are very competitive. I would definitely recommend a visit to E3 if you are interested in new cabinets. read more

I purchased my kitchen cabinets from E3 after shopping all over kingdom come for quality cabinets on a budget. E3 is operated by two young women who are very knowledgable about their products and are so sweet to deal with. I brought in my kitchen measurements and Man-Li whipped up a layout and quote within minutes. They were very accomodating to all the order changes I made too. Highest marks for customer service. One customer said he drove all the way from Sunnyvale just because he liked them so much. The products are from China, but I found them to be higher quality than other places. And my kitchen looks fantastic! They sell everything, cabs, countertops, floors, sink etc. as well as installation. We had our own contractor do our kitchen and he was impressed too by the quality. Said his wife would have preferred these cabs over the ones he had. Anyway, remodeling is always stressful, so finding great customer service is invaluable and they are top notch. read more
