My car had a hand wash. Mostly the exterior was OK and inside was vacuumed. But all 4 rims were still very dirty and the trunk was not vacuumed. I will try again and look over the car carefully before departing. read more

Exceeded expectation. My car's back windshield blew out during Hurricane Ian. The car sat in a garage for 2 weeks until the necessary steps to get it repaired were finished, and while waiting the car sustained severe mold damage, and ANTS. Exclamation point on the ant situation. I brought the car to Eager Beaver and was delighted that the car was odor free, and zero ants upon sitting in the car. Both employees i dealt with were so so helpful, and polite. I did pay a little extra for the interior clean for shampooing but i feel it was well worth it. Thanks guys! read more

I've gone to several different locations in Sarasota. I love giving good reviews because I want the community to know about excellence in local services. This applies to Eager Beaver, whose corporate office is called Wash Depot Holdings The workers at the car wash were efficient, and thorough. They were also helpful and gracious, even when I was short of cash for tipping. (I returned to drop $$ in the jar later.) The car wash says you will enjoy that fresh clean car feeling, and I did, each time. At the corporate level, I credit Cheryl with a genuine concern for customer satisfaction. When I called with a request, she easily granted my wish without hesitation. From the top down, this business presents friendliness and thoroughness for the benefit of their customer. a week ago Exceeded my expectations! Stopped in today to get all of the bugs washed off from my trip to the Keys. Robin- the supervisor in the wash area/ did a fabulous job on my car. She obviously takes real pride in her work and put a lot of effort into prepping my car. I honestly felt bad because it was stinking hot out and she did a better job than I hoped for. The team on the other side did a perfect job drying my car as well. 5 stars for Eager Beaver. I'll be getting my car detailed there this week based on that performance! read more

I usually don't comment unless I received very good or very bad service. The one star is for the friendliness of I'm assuming the manager in charge this particular day. Otherwise I am very unhappy with the quality. I think the workers are going so fast in the assembly they're not able to pay attention to details. Like the dirt they're supposed to be cleaning. My car was dirty by the tires, the back end, back seats and more look like they were untouched let alone vacuumed or wiped down! read more

If anyone else opened a car wash business and knew how to wash inside windows, they would instantly put Eager Beaver out of business. Not only have I seldom left this place with a clean car, I have NEVER left with clean windows. Not even after calling over the manager and having him personally clean the windshield himself! At one time 4 different people did them, so it obviously was not the person, but what they were using. On the drive home you can see where they totally go around the rear view mirror, cut the corners and make a total mess of the windows. And if the sun is setting, forget about it! They must have grease on their towels because I can go home, take out out my own window cleaning supplies and instantly have clean windows. I wish I was still young enough to clean my own car and avoid this rip off. read more

If I could leave 0 starts I would. Don't waste your money. 60$ for a car wash and I had to go home and clean it myself. They rush and give you your car back slightly cleaner then when you got there. I wouldn't recommend this place especially when Johnnys car wash is down the street and so worth the wait. Don't waste your money or time. read more

Beware of this car wash! I went there in August before we moved to get my car washed and vacuumed really good since we had been to the Bach in it and it had sand in it. The guy that I told what I needed proceeded to try to sell me a $60 a month plan to get my car washed anytime. They also said they couldn't get Siesta Key's sand out of the carpet. I had to take the hose and do it myself! I continued to tell him no because we were moving to North Port that weekend and there is no Eager Beavers here and I just needed this one time cleaning from there. He wouldn't stop trying to hard sell me on it and I finally said ok just to shut him up! So I went inside and told them that I only wanted this one car wash and not the membership. They said that he had already charged my card and they would adjust it and cancel the membership. So I just saw on my AMEX statement where they have charged me $60.98 for the last 4 months! $244; for one car wash!!!! I don't think so!!!! So I called the manager a couple of days ago and he said he would have to contact the highest manager in the company to see what she can do. So I haven't heard back from him. And his calls are heavily screened when I try to call him. He is most likely avoiding me. So I'm waiting for him to call me back today before I call the BBB and the Attorney Generals office for consumer affairs and call the local news media out to interview him to see why I'm being scammed by them. I came here prepared to pay at least $120 for the detail package. My dog had thrown up in the car after a road trip and although I had done an initial cleaning there were residual stains I was hoping a shampoo job would remove. To my dismay I was told that they "don't do vomit" which to me defeats the purpose of going to a car wash? If I wanted to clean it myself why would I come here? Disappointed with service. First time using a full service like this and found they did a mediocre job. Corners and any surface that is not immediately accessible was not touched and remained dirty. You can see that they rushed my car through and didn't do a thorough job. Very half assed service. Will try a new place down the street and pay an extra $20 for a quality job. read more

I went for a car wash the other, and while in line I noticed the line beside me moving much more quickly (like 4 cars moved ahead of me) even though it seemed like the guys really were alternating rows for doing the vacuuming prep. I even griped to the manager when he came to collect my ticket for my wash (I have a book). When I finally pulled up to the spot in front, I turned off the car, took the keys and was then motioned to pull up further. No problem; I turned the car back on, pulled up, took the keys and went inside. Took. The. Keys. I go inside, purchase an upgrade, see my car still hasn't started through. Go back inside. Wait for car. Still no car. I go back out... see my car STILL there, and as one fellow goes by I tell him that there's a real organizational problem with how the cars are alternated into the vacuuming and wash line, and ask why my car is still there. No keys. Is this your car he asks???? This is all on me. I reach in my pocket, give him the keys totally mortified. In decades of driving I've never done this. I apologize profusely, and there is nothing else I can do. The point of this however, is to point out how gracious the staff were in the face of my mistake, which certainly inconvenienced a good number of people who Im sure were becoming more and more annoyed and impatient and who were certainly taking it out on the staff. DO NOT ALLOW THEM access to your car. They steal money and belongings. I noticed immediately my things were gone!!! Not cool at all. I was saving a small amount of cash in my car for a purchase I could only make with cash. So now to add to everything I need to do, I have to go to the ATM before my next stop. Something has happened to this franchise with poor service and "shotty" performance. I purchased the $29.00 wash yesterday. Only car going through the process. The manager did the inside windows and did a great job. The guy that did the front windshield had to of used the cloth used for my tire shine. After I left the facility I noticed it very hard to see out of the front window. Upon my return to home, I checked to find out the window had a "oily film". Unbelievable. This is not the first time I've had issues at this facility. I'd recommend to others, go to the Bee Ridge location. read more
