DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!…read more This was probably one of the worst and unprofessional situations I've ever dealt with a company. We called Paul's to come out and perform pest control services on our house and property. First, I called and spoke to someone after trying to call maybe three or four times on different days and spoke to a woman and she asked me a few questions. They ask you about where you want services, square footage of the home, and if there were any current problems we were having in the home that they would have to treat right away. So I answered those questions and those were the only questions they had. I was upfront with her about a current issue we were having with a certain bug and all she replied with was that she would let the guy know. No explanation of any type of bugs, or specialty circumstances that would be more cost or anything like that. She explained to me it would be $150 for the initial treatment and the inspection and then it would be $40 a month going forward. I said send over the contract and she emailed it. We signed the contract And sent it back to them. After they get the signed contract the guy calls you to set up the initial treatment and inspection. They charged our account $150. The gentleman comes out to do the inspection and seemed very knowledgeable. We had a great conversation. We got talking about the house and issues we were worried about having in the future and what their services would provide. Just a reminder, we've already paid the 150 and we've already signed a CONTRACT with them. After he did his inspection, he explained that due to the number of rooms, areas bugs could get in, and the current issue we were having that the cost would not be honored for the $150. I explained to him none of this was brought to my attention. He told me straight from the company's mouth that they're supposed to tell you these things over the phone and the calls are recorded. So he said he was going to go back and talk to his manager and come back in and let me know. Now I'm frustrated because he's trying to explain that the money we paid and the contract we signed was not going to be honored. He comes back in and I'm expecting either a slight increase or him to say we're going to go ahead and move forward with what we agreed on since you signed a contract and the agreement with our company. I was shocked when he came back inside and said again, due to the number of rooms, the current issues we were having, and the areas bugs could get in, the price would be a lot higher. He even told me I should go with another company and said he would charge me around $500.00. When I explained that none of this was told to me and I signed a contract and agreement with their company and they gave me the price with my signature based on the information they required, all he could say was "I understand". I honestly don't know how they have any customers. Good luck, please stay away from them and save you some money and headache.

Had to take…read moremy 10 month old son to urgent care the day we agreed (wenesday). so i call 2 days later because thursday i had school for my insurance licensing and he told me he'd call me back said he was on the other line and he didn't. so i messaged him on Saturday got no answer. then called on monday 2 days after that figuring it was the weekend and he was busy. He was a di*k and had no compassion about my situation IM SOOOOO glad this happened cause i couldn't of worked for someone like that. I can't imagine how he treats customers.

We were thrilled with the tech that came to our home. He was knowledgeable and personable. We found Mike's prices to be very fair as well. We also like that Mike's company uses IPM (Integrated Pest Management). It is effective, but also better for the environment. Healthy pest control is very important to us.

After contacting a few different pest control companies I found Capital City. I like that Travis, the owner called me and said he'd be doing the initial appointment, himself. I had read the information he wrote about his business and why he started it on Yelp and in dealing with him personally I found things to be as he described them. He was personable and took the time to explain about the type of insects in our area and what's involved in keeping them away. I believe Capital City's prices are fair. You don't have to pay for corporate overhead, so you catch a break that way but they aren't low-ball where you know thr pest control person can only spend 5 minutes with you because they have so see tons of people to make a living.
