    Birthday Cake

I'm rooting for this business, but they will need to improve their game. We just had their yellow cake cake with fudge frosting for a birthday. The cake was very over baked and dry, and the decorations were not much more than a home baker could do. We also bought a raspberry and pecan coffee cake which was good, but LOTS of nuts and sadly not as good as the Kringle's of the past. I hope they continue to improve. We'll try them again, just not for a specialty cake.

Tiny little place right in the downtown area. Delightful desserts and bakery items. Very reasonably priced and fresh. We stopped fairly later in the day and they still have many options. I only got a lemon poppyseed muffin and it was delectable. Moist muffin with a delicious lemon middle. Wow. So very good!!!

    Sad sad excuse for blueberries.

Not the same quality. Hope things improve. Items purchased were dry and lacking flavor. Will try one more time in a month.

Baked goods are good. Service is really bad and unfriendly. Unfortunately, there is only one bakery in town.

We love this bakery. So friendly and always well stocked here. Scones, donuts, cookies and sandwiches, too. Best kringle ever!!

The inside is very modern and spacious, a great spot to wait for your breakfast reservation to open up, and the staff is super nice as well. They serve Monin syrups (important ifkyk) which is a plus, and have a variety of dairy free milks to choose from as well. They also offer a few tea options including chai and matcha. We ordered the following: Oatmilk Cappuccino Oatmilk London Fog w/ Oat Milk Iced Oatmilk Latte w/ Toffee Nut, Wisconsin Maple & caramel drizzle. I think I just don't love Collectivo espresso beans as everyone who got coffee in my party said the drinks were just ok. The flavorings are perfect, we prefer Monin, but the espresso is just a little too bitter tasting? Maybe the shots weren't pulled correctly. I'd come back to try the sandwiches or for the London Fog, but I'll stick to Eagle River Roasters down the street for coffee.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and accommodate both small and large groups. The well equipped bar also has some innovative cocktails (served with a signature steal spike) and large selection of beers. Our kids love it too because they have a great game area. I like their signature old fashion and Margherita, and I especially like their mint smash burger (no mint in it!) and various tacos, and they also serve a great fish fry. Make sure to grab a complimentary chocolate mint served as you exit the spotless bathrooms.

Turned out sour lady was also the server. Very unwelcoming The food was so bad I sent it back. The "smothered" pulled pork (the menu's description) had a squirt of sauce and was not hot - not warm even. As my husband was eating I just cancelled. The robotic manager said he wouldn't charge me !! ... seriously I didn't even bite into the sandwich. I joked he could reuse the bun. He offered a dessert. I'm not going to eat a dessert for dinner. I declined. Such a beautiful remodel of an old bar. A shame the food and service just don't hold up.
