Walk ins are welcome but since most people make appointments you're rolling the dice if you just walk in. Also, Allan has a BIG heart and he's a GREAT guy! Some people see him as a little rough on the edges but, as someone who has been around many people of various backgrounds, I find that these impressions are false and are just related to culture differences and nothing bad. Each one of the barbers have loads of personality and heart and it's always entertaining when you engage with them. I highly recommend.

I walk in the door and before I could even sit down one of the 3 guys cutting hair ask me if I had an appointment. I said no and he said sorry it's appointment only and we are booked today and tomorrow but you can make an appointment for another day. Is this a barbershop or a salon? Usually you just wait for the next guy to be finished and walk ins are welcome. Nope, not this place and not with any of these 3 guys. Apparently they're too good for walk ins. And just a side note, it doesn't say anywhere that it's appointment only.

Joe has moved his shop next door. So this is the first review of his new shop. Same hair cutters…read morejust different address. Joe's barber shop is an old school barber shop. Red, white, and blue barber pole out front and all. Speaking of old school Joe is the man. Joe and his son are the 2 main haircutters right now. Room to grow in the new shop with a couple extra chairs. The new shop is very nice. Wide open space, very clean, black n white tile floors, multiple TV's and plenty of magazines to keep you occupied while waiting. My hair cuts are ALWAYS on the money. Joe takes his time and does a tight cut. Joe is a master at Clippers, Scissors. and Razors. Using all 3 for my haircuts. Others that cut hair have commented on my haircuts and only positive feedback has come from them. He also has me laughing my ass off most times. Joe doesn't take reservations so I might have to give him a neg review just so I don't make a longer wait for myself. Here's a tip for you to get on Joe's good side. After reading "Very homophobic barber" on another review I think Joe would like to show his support for all. Bring a Rainbow Flag or a Gay Support wrist band or maybe a black pride band. I'm sure he'll display them to show his support for all. In all seriousness, You won't get a better haircut anywhere.

My son and I come twice a month for hair cuts and we always leave satisfied. The shop is always clean, and gets busy on the weekends (a sign of community support for a job well done) so come early! ;-) There is always entertainment available, through numerous TV screens (one per barber chair and a big 40+ inch in the back wall), music and staff engagement. Parking is street parking but I haven't had a problem finding a spot to park in any of the adjacent streets. During the winter parking can be a challenge due to the city's snow removal issues, but still manageable. Stop by and check them out.
