joe &his son are great went to them for years before going to Florida i am back now want to go there again

Joe has moved his shop next door. So this is the first review of his new shop. Same hair cutters just different address. Joe's barber shop is an old school barber shop. Red, white, and blue barber pole out front and all. Speaking of old school Joe is the man. Joe and his son are the 2 main haircutters right now. Room to grow in the new shop with a couple extra chairs. The new shop is very nice. Wide open space, very clean, black n white tile floors, multiple TV's and plenty of magazines to keep you occupied while waiting. My hair cuts are ALWAYS on the money. Joe takes his time and does a tight cut. Joe is a master at Clippers, Scissors. and Razors. Using all 3 for my haircuts. Others that cut hair have commented on my haircuts and only positive feedback has come from them. He also has me laughing my ass off most times. Joe doesn't take reservations so I might have to give him a neg review just so I don't make a longer wait for myself. Here's a tip for you to get on Joe's good side. After reading "Very homophobic barber" on another review I think Joe would like to show his support for all. Bring a Rainbow Flag or a Gay Support wrist band or maybe a black pride band. Both Joe and son Joe do a great job of cutting hair and listening to your requests. Some barbers cut the hair as they think it should be cut, but these two want to know how "you" want in cut and do exactly what you ask. Friendly group of customers and a good old fashion barber shop. It's not easy to find a good barber. Both Joe's are consistent and the haircuts are are always good.

The only barber I trust in Naugatuck. While he is not the most politically correct guy, you will always leave with a perfect haircut. His son is a barber there too and is equally as good - however depending on which one you get you'll have a slightly different look. read more

Nice clean good size shop. Three chairs. Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. both cut hair. I had mine done for the first time today by Joe Sr. and it is a great haircut. Very professional - takes his time and does it right. Combination of buzz, scissors, and razor. He asked me how I wanted it and delivered - he knew the right questions to ask.
