I called and spoke with Daniel Doot about a mishap in my wife's new BMW X5 X40i. She was heartsick about damaging her car. I live in NC and Eagle Body Works is about 2.5 hours away. That being said, Daniel worked with me regarding a rough estimate via pictures and had my wife's BMW in his shop in less than a month! That was great as most of the body shops in my area are booked three months out. One important distinction is that Daniel is extremely experienced with BMWs as he worked for them for decades. He knows how to match BMW paint like nobody else. In fact, Eagle Body Works is a certified BMW collision center and this was a program he helped institute when he worked for BMW. Therefore I had complete confidence in his work and what the finished product would look like. What I didn't expect was how quick the turnaround was on my wife's car. It was ready one day ahead of schedule and it was flawless. It was as though the accident never happened. They went above and beyond by vacuuming the floor mats and cleaning the interior (we didn't do that before the drop off). More than anything, my wife's new Bimmer was back to showroom perfect. We didn't file this as an insurance claim so we paid out of pocket. While the repair wasn't cheap, every item that needed to be replaced was warranted and the price was very fair. Hey...go figure...when you mess up a front bumper with all the new technological sensors for parking and radar, it's going to be a pretty penny. They got all the sensors aligned and calibrated perfectly and we are both extremely happy with the end result. It was well worth every penny spent and we cannot recommend them highly enough - especially if you are looking for collision or paint work on a BMW. We were well informed during every step of the repair and these are some of the friendliest people you could ever hope to deal with. If I need body work or paint work done again (knock on wood) I will not waste my time looking into local shops. They earned our business! read more

I was involved in my first accident, ever! At 64 that was good history. My car sustained front end damages with airbag deployment. I phone North Hills (Butler Road, Greenville, SC) they will get a seperate shout out. They refered me to Eagle Body Works. After over $7,000 in damages, I was concerned. * Staff is remarkable * I was given status of the repair as things progressed. My son hit a deer and the insurance company's roadside assistance decided to have his car towed to Eagle Body Works in Greenville. They got him a quote promptly and advised him that the amount of work required was more than the value of his car. They then put him in touch with salvage companies, charged nothing for storage and stayed late with us when the salvage company was late in picking up. Every time my son had to call them they knew him by name and treated him fabulously! As he is only 19 and learning to deal with these matters, that was a true blessing to say the least!! I went to this body shop because they are a preferred vendor and highly recommended by the claims adjuster from my insurance company. Over a year later I am still dealing with problems. The third time my truck has been up there over a piece of body molding, after the most recent visit the current answer is to take the molding off until they can find time to contact insurance company and figure out how to repair it. I would strongly advise against this body shop. I am in business myself and I understand that you can't please everyone but, they didn't tell me when they took my money that they didn't know how to properly do the repairs. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. My husband hit a deer and we trusted them with his car. After we got the car back, it was making strange noises. Before I could get it back to them, the tire blew out on I85 in the middle of rush hours traffic because the tire rod broke. They'd told us to call with any problems-- I called and made an appointment to have them look at it again. When my husband brought it in at the time I'd made the appointment, they told him he'd have to wait because he didn't have an appointment. 5 minutes later they came back and said they didn't see anything wrong-- it was just a flat tire. AAA looked at it and immediately knew the tire rod was broken... They'll make your car look new on the outside, but don't expect them to go the extra mile to see if there is anything else that needs to be fixed... after all, they aren't mechanics. Just because it's pretty doesn't mean it's safe. They called me to find out if I wanted the license plate holder back on the front.. I told them yes. Two weeks later when I picked up the car, I had to wait for them to put the holder on because apparently no one had bothered to write it down. read more

I had what I thought was a minor accident, clipping the rear bumper while making a left turn. Then headlamp and part of the bumper came off. My car was driveable, so waited for my insurance company. Getting that info was not easy, but Eagle kept up on my behalf. When they did get it, I took my car in, and Enterprise had a rental car ready for me. I don't know what kind of mood writer Jennifer F. was in, but receptionist Jennifer was quick to jump in to work with my insurance company. Tom was on the top, keeping me up to date. I chose Eagle over the insurance company triage at another dealer, based on ratings. I must say, I went to take pictures of my car, and the entire front in was in need of replacement, simply because all of the cosmetic parts are "plastic", and break easily. Eagle wasted no time getting new parts as replacement. I was concerned about matching the metallic blue color. I found they can enter the VIN of each car and get the identical paint mix sprayed on my vehicle on that particular day. I couldn't be happier. I asked that the middle "chrome" section be moved over just a little and 15 minutes later I got it back, perfece while I waited. Jennifer at front desk and Tom, adjuster, were extremely helpful in getting my car back to me before Christmas, and in working with my insurance company. Highly recommend Eagle Body Works. I have attempted to call to setup an appointment several times in the past week to have an estimate done for damage to my truck to send in to my insurance company and get repaired. I left messages with employees who took my information and told me the person that sets up the appointments would call me back. I also left messages on their answering service also with my information and I never received a call back. If they can't return my phone call I don't think I can trust them with my vehicle. I was very impressed with the mechanic who helped me with a bent fender at Eagle Body Works. My bike rack had sagged and literally gouged and very nearly separated the fender under the rear trunk opening. However, this incredibly nice guy -- I believe his name was Robert --pulled and tugged and got the fender back in place without charging me anything. No baloney about replacing the fender. Hardly any scratching. I'd give this man an A+ for kindness and helpfulness! read more

Oooo. No thanks. I couldn't even get a quote from them because the (not very kind) woman on the phone couldn't match my VIN number. I only needed a hood painted, not even attached to the car! What kind of business cannot even provide a quote to a customer, is rude over the phone, and has the audacity to tell you to go somewhere else that can help you. I recently had work done on my mini-van, as someone had backed into my side sliding door. I've had my vehicle back now for 2 days, and I'm still noticing "little" things they did that go above and beyond what I was expecting. They vacuumed my vehicle, it needed that, but it certainly wasn't their job to do so. The paint job they did is outstanding! My van is 11 yrs old, and it looks brand new. I just noticed today that they cleaned my rims, they're really shiny, and they removed a paint stain near my front bumper, (which was not a result of this incident) They are wonderful to deal with, and I'll recommend them every time. read more

I called Eagle Body Works to see if they could help remedy a problem with the splash guard on my 2013 Subaru BRZ. They had repaired the vehicle in December, but this was not related to that in any way. Since they did outstanding work in December, I trusted them to help me again. Jennifer was extremely helpful in scheduling the appointment and got me in right away. Robert and his team quickly identified the problem and made the repair.
