Came in to this location to add an account but unfortunately I was waited for 45 mins and after 45min I ask the teller how much longer she said she don't know in a rude tone. If you should have any Banking concers I would advise you to speak with Mr. Kim. Very, very professional, polite and his most important attribute is his ability to LISTEN! regarding your banking concerns. Mr. Kim returns your phone calls (withing 24-48 hrs.) promptly and updates the cusomer with a progress report. I have been a member of this credit union for over 30 years dating back to when it was McDonnell Douglas FCU and they had an office in the McDonnell Douglas Huntington Beach facility (which was very convenient). In recent years, they have had some very good certificate (CD equivalents) special rates which I have taken advantage of. On several occasions, I have had the pleasure of working with Relationship Manager Darlene Luciano on setting up these certificates. Darlene has always been wonderful to work with (very pleasant, positive, respectful, profession, and knowledgeable). Last Saturday, I came into the branch at 12:45 (right before they closed at 1) wanting to open a certificate for which it was the last day to get the promotional special interest rate. I was directed to stand in the teller line in order to be put with a banker in order to open the certificate account. By the time I got to the teller, it was 5 minutes to closing and the teller told me it was too near closing for me to see a banker and open the account. I explained that I had just spoken to the call center who had assured that I could open it if I went into the credit union before closing. I asked to speak to the manager who asked Darlene to stay past closing and open the account. In spite of her having to stay 45 minutes past quitting time on a Saturday to open the certificate account, she was a joy to work with as always. One issue arose during the setup regarding a rate bump for new money that was offered by the call center (which turned out to be bad information) and Darlene brought in the branch manager on duty, Martin Kim, to address my concern. He offered to follow up with the call center on Monday to see if something could done to honor the call centers errant offer of a rate bump on the certificate. As promised, he did just that and called me on Monday to tell me that the credit union had decided to add the bump to the certificate rate as was errantly promised by the call center. Fantastic customer service by both Darlene, Martin, and Nuvision Federal Credit Union. I'm guessing that I will continue to be customer of NuVision for another 30 years - if I'm still alive and kicking! read more

Hi, everyone hope all is well with such amazing people today, wanted to shine some light on these comments if you notice... those with no followings or very little activity are placing 4-5 stars... and those with 70-100 people groups are all giving this A 1-2 star.... Well just an observation, id like to express my personal experience... With a recommendation i did, on a refi i think i got Diabetes from working with Soloman a lender at this branch, he continue to change and over promise a outcome both from 3 weeks to having to used hes famous verse " i have will talk to my superiors who do absolutely nothing but delay & delay more and more time, We like honesty & im old school meaning if i say 3 weeks i will make it happen in 3 weeks 21days 30,240 minutes = 21 days not 2months and turning it into a close friend of mine was so excited, to hear no fees because they're a Credit Union... long story short my friend put in a very bad position, all for us to be let down " went from a 30yr fix to 15yr last minute changing it to higher rate plus higher payment idk if how far up he called maybe as high as the universe, with no reception? Nuvision please do better for our customers. Glad i didnt open an account here. read more

Responsed instantly and effectively as she walked me through maze after maze of options, each with little land mines. One doesnt know, what one doesnt know. Caity guided through this process of a vehicle loan snd a credit card choked full of hidden issues as a result of buying from a private seller over 200 miles away. I have a CD that matured today. I went to the Fountain Valley branch two weeks ago and turned in my request in writing to close it out when it mattered. I checked this morning and it was not done. I then called to ask why, they said to wait until after 6 pm. I logged on at 8 pm and it was not done. Now I have to make another trip to get it closed out. This is totally incompetence! read more

I had a huge problem with my daughter's college accidentally withdrawing money from her checking account instead of ours. I rushed to Nuvision for help, needing to make sure she had over draft protection, which she did not. Mr. Martin Kim went ABOVE & BEYOND to take the time to help me. He allowed my daughter to face time with him and give him all the information and authority he needed over the phone. He even called me this morning to clarify that everything went well and also politely asked for me to come in and sign one form at my convenience. When I walked in this afternoon, he immediately acknowledged me by waving and smiling, and although he was helping another member, he was able to have me quickly sign and be done with the matter. I am forever grateful to him. There aren't too many people or places that appreciate your business and actually listen and have empathy when you're needing help.
