I needed a root canal and was referred to Dr. Sarraf by a friend who recently had to undergo one and had a wonderful experience. I was extremely nervous as anyone is when undergoing major dental work. My nervousness quickly depleted after placing the call to set up the appointment. My call was greeted by Wendy, a cheerful, friendly and professional woman who made me feel very comfortable and had knowledge in the insurance field which was helpful in answering my questions. I actually received a call about an hour before my appointment from Wendy because I had expressed 3 weeks earlier when setting the appt up that I didn't know that area and she wanted to make sure that I had correct directions and she took the time to go over them with me, I was shocked as this is not the service I am used to nowadays. I was pleased with the office itself, it was tasteful, clean and inviting. I was set up for my procedure by Danielle, a pleasant young lady whom was professional and courteous. I then was greeted by Dr.Sarraf who immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease, he was extremely kind and gentle throughout the whole procedure and when he was finished he and Danielle made sure that I was as comfortable as possible and gave me the time I needed to gather myself together. I was not rushed out of the chair and sent on my way until I was ready and when I was ready, which did not take long due to Dr,Sarrafs gentle hand, I was presented with a flower!!!! As If I wasn't satisfied enough with their services, a flower, seriously how kind? I am so pleased with the service from making that 1st call to sitting in that chair to leaving that friendly office, and of course my dental work. Something feels weird about saying "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" for someone who gave you a root canal :) I second everything (positive) that everyone said here. They did a good job scheduling me in, explained everything that had to be done, and got me in and out very quickly. They accurately told me that I could bike to and from my appointment (which I could) and accurately predicted that I'd want to rest at home for a couple hours before going in to work afterwards. Dr. Sarraf did a great job with the Novocaine (never saw it coming) and I felt nothing. He was able to preserve enough of the tooth so that I didn't have to get a crown, saving me a pile of money later. He didn't try to sell me extra stuff. I had to ask to get my tooth bleached, which he happily did. There's a scanned copy of what I presume is a nitrous license as well if you want to go that route; I did not. I put on noise-cancelling headphones listening to a podcast and he took the hint, not saying anything unless he had to ask me a question. It allowed me to zone out and be somewhere else, which helped me through the procedure. You're in good hands here if you need a root canal. read more

I struck gold when I discovered Eagle Endodontics! My son had a workplace accident and suffered multiple fractured teeth and was in desperate need of dental treatment. I searched the Internet and made countless phone calls trying to find a dentist that would accept worker's compensation insurance. Everyone turned me down until I called Eagle Endodontics. The office manager, Wendy, was extremely kind, considerate and beyond helpful. I told her that my son was experiencing discomfort and she managed to arrange an appointment for him right away. I have not one complaint about the care and service I received from Eagle Endodontics. Dr. Ali is amazing in his calm and genuine personality. All of his office equipment is AMAZING. The office is IMMACULATE and the waiting area is soothing and relaxing...which is important if you are about to have a root canal. I had NO pain during the procedure. I felt comfortable and in fact at one point I thought I might fall asleep. His staff is exceptional, kind and caring. Eagle Endodontics goal is to make the experience pain free, relaxing and calming absolutely happened when I had my procedure this past February. Over 18 months ago I had an emergency root canal which was done by a different endontist. It went terribly wrong and I suffered terrible pain which I endured for months. I returned to that doctor over ten times and he finally told me to pull the tooth. Instead, I sought other opinions from 4 other dentists. Dr Sarraf was referred to me by my dentist, Dr Wu, at Emerson Dental. Both of them agreed that they believed that I needed a re-treat. In addition, they did warn me that it may not be successful. Getting a root canal isn't something one looks forward to, but Dr. Sarraf made it the most pleasant experience it could possibly be. He came highly recommended to me by someone in the field, and I'm so glad I went with him. He's excellent at what he does and genuinely cares about his patients. When I sat in his chair, my bottom lip started quivering before anything even began, so I was clearly a bit apprehensive. Dr Sarraf did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure, which as it turns out, was nothing to be nervous about. After being told that I needed a root canal from my dentist, my first thoughts was that it was going to be painful. My dentist referred me to Dr. Sarraf so he had not yet seen my teeth. When I arrived at his office, I was very nervous as I'm not a fan of any dental procedures, much less root canals! Dr. Sarraf and his staff made me feel so comfortable. I arrived at Eagle Endodontics for an endodontic retreatment after a terrible infection that was caused due to a root-canal done badly by Gentle Dental at Porter Square. You can only imagine how stressful it is to get something fixed that another dentist broke. I was terrified but luckily Wendy and Dr. Sarraf are the best health practitioners I ever met, my complicated procedure went so smoothly, I can honestly say it was even fun! I went to Dr. Sarraf after having two root canals on the same tooth. It was decided that I needed Apeco Surgery due to an infection. After the description of the procedure, I was alittle apprehensive and very nervous! Dr. Sarraf and his staff were wonderful! When it comes to Dental work I am the biggest chicken. Dr. Sarraf did a double root canal and I couldn't be more pleased. He made me feel comfortable from beginning to end.
