Forthright, honest and easy to do business with. I have used them twice and also referred friends to them.

Edited in response to business comment:…read more I purchased my home on June 11th and in that timeframe you being the HOA management company have posted 3 months worth of payments and addt'l $185 in past due/legal fees to an account in my name against my home! Never at any point in the past 3 months have you returned my calls. Never at any point in the past 3 months have you sent me an invoice/email or correspondence. I have been the homeowner for 3 months. You are the paid management company, paid for what I ask? Are you not responsible for maintaining accurate homeowner records? It's bizarre that you don't feel any of this is your fault. I agree title company should have contacted you when I purchased(my gut tells me they did and you ignored them also). Regardless I made you aware in June that I was purchasing the property, I simple call back to me is all it would have taken. Even when I called again and was able to speak with a person from your company in August she never mentioned setting up online billing. Nor did she or anyone ever mention you were contacting Title Company to collect those past due amounts. I'm not sure why it's necessary for you to continue saying it but it's completely false. You are acting as if I was impulsive but you did NOTHING for 3 months except add late charges to an account that I knew nothing about! Original review: I began calling this HOA "management" company in June right before closing on our home as instructed by my lender. I was never able to reach live person but their voicemail had instructions to leave my contact info including email. I did as instructed and waited for someone to call me back with instructions on how to proceed. I didn't hear anything back until end of August when I received a collection letter from HOA attorney saying I was delinquent for $700 plus atty fees!! I then began calling again trying to figure out how this is possible and how to fix it. I not only called The Twenty Seven Group but also the attorney that sent me a letter, in my name just as I left on that voicemail. Every time I called I would reach someone that took down my name/number but could never assist or give information. Finally, after calling for a few weeks I was able to get lady to explain how billing was done and website so I could set up account. She told me your email address that I needed to send request to for account access. At this point it is September 9th!! I don't feel that I'm responsible for the now $800 bill which includes over $185 in their late fees but they absolutely refused to even call and speak with me about it! I don't recommend using this company for HOA and if you are looking at a home that they are HOA I would RUN!!

This is the most unprofessional and unorganized property management group I have ever come across. I had an issue that should have been discovered and fixed proactively, result in damage to my property. It took almost a year to get ahold of someone to attempt to rectify the situation and now over 1 year later it still is not resolved. Additionally, this individual has been incredible rude and condescending throughout the entire process.

There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

The house was advertised to be noise-proof but I can hear the neighbor's conversations. Not to mention the sounds of their dog walking around the house. It's not the neighbor's fault-- they are just living their lives. But wow, I have lived under at least 5 different housing management teams before and it has never been this bad. Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

I'm sure they have a few folks living large but it sure isn't their residents. Shame-shame. It appears that the company's only concern is their new ventures, not maintaining what they have. Their apartment communities need so much work that if they actually did right by them they probably couldn't afford a new project. Exactly what is wrong with corporate America, not the large corporations but the small Crawford-Hoying type of glorified slum-lords with seemingly no integrity. Now, on the flip side, I can't speak about Crawford-Hoying Real Estate because I have never used them. Hopefully they do better work than the property management side.

The wrong answer is to come home off of active duty to an eviction notice, when they were alerted 30 days prior and were given a copy of my orders, I can tell you that much. And then when I furiously addressed the matter, they lied to my face. Redefines unprofessional and careless behavior towards uniformed service members. I would never recommend one of Crawford Hoying's locations to ANYONE, especially someone in the military because I would never want anyone to have to return home to an eviction notice.
