I scheduled a 10:30 a.m. appointment specifically with a Master Stylist because I was preparing to leave out of town and needed a quality full set completed efficiently. In fact, the day before my appointment, I was specifically told that the Master Stylist would be able to complete the full set in about an hour, which is why I booked that appointment time. I arrived early at approximately 10:15 a.m. and checked in, yet no one informed me that the Master Stylist I booked with had called in. I also was not taken back until almost 10:45 a.m., and my lashes did not actually begin until around 10:50 a.m. It was only after I was brought back and the appointment had already started that I realized something seemed off. The front desk staff began explaining to the technician how to place the lashes, which led me to ask if she was new. At that point, I learned that I was no longer with the Master Stylist I had booked and confirmed for my appointment. Instead, without prior notice or approval, I had been reassigned to a newer lash technician, and I was then told the appointment would now take approximately 1.5-2 hours instead of the one-hour timeframe I had specifically booked for with a Master Stylist. I want to make it very clear that this complaint is NOT against the lash technician herself. She was very sweet, understanding, and genuinely tried her best to make it work. I actually felt very bad for her because management put her in an unfair and uncomfortable position. As a newer lash technician, she understandably needed more time to complete the service properly, yet she was placed into a fully booked Master Stylist appointment timeframe that did not allow her the appropriate amount of time needed to successfully complete the lashes to the expected standard. This issue reflects poor management, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism from this location -- not the technician. Once the Master Stylist called in, I should have immediately been contacted and either rescheduled with another available Master Stylist or given the option to reschedule altogether to avoid this entire situation. Unfortunately, the final results did not reflect the quality or level of service I specifically booked and expected from a Master Stylist appointment. My lashes were left looking sparse, uneven, and incomplete, with noticeable gaps throughout the set. Because of the way this situation was handled, I now have to make another appointment and drive an hour back just to have my lashes corrected. This inconvenience could have been completely avoided with proper communication, honesty, scheduling, and better management. I expected far more professionalism and customer care from Amazing Lash Studio, especially after specifically booking and confirming a Master Stylist appointment.

She needs to be stopped! I see she has done this to at least 27 different people according to the reviews and BBB. Search her name in BBB and the Waco location will pop up! SHE IS A COMPLETE SCAMMER when it comes to cancellations!! MAKE HER ACCOUNTABLE!!

Before the procedure, she thoroughly went over aftercare and answered any questions I had. Perhaps most importantly, while sketching my brows, she was sure to make sure they were perfect and that I, not liked them, but LOVED them. During the procedure, she made sure that I had access to a mirror and asked if I saw any imperfections that I wanted altered. She was completely unphased by my desire for an additional stroke here or there, something my previous artist did not appreciate. She really makes the experience a collaborative effort. However, I knew I would be in Houston this weekend, and did a search to see if any salon in the area specialized in the technique---and that's when I found Next Level. I was able to book my appointment online, and got a text message to confirm. At the salon, I met with my nail tech, and went over what I would be interested in doing as my design. My tech was very nice, and offered me a drink (I chose hot Vietnamese coffee) with everything from boba tea to soda to coffee to choose from. She got to work right away by first removing my old polish, went on with dry cuticle work, cut and reshaped my nails, and then got set with my new gel layer. I thought I would try an aura design, which required the use of an airbrush machine. I didn't realize it would take so much time, most of it due to the fact the machine had run out of charge - lol! My nail tech still did her best to be efficient. It took almost three hours, but at least I had a fresh set I was happy with. My nails now remind me of bubblegum pieces, lol! Each manicure also comes with a hand/arm massage and soak, so it was nice to wrap up the manicure with that. I also learned they offer Vietnamiese scalp massage, which is something I'd like to try in the near future.
