And what's crazy is I witnessed in real time as I waited for my appointment several other customers calling to cancel their memberships and the receptionist that worked on 7/14/26 that morning just lied to them all. Oh I submitted it already we have to wait for our managers to review it. Yeah the managers review it after they charge them again before canceling it. Fucking thieves and scammers. Horrible people. When I noticed the $99 membership had again charged to my card on 3/1, I figured it was a mistake and called the salon to rectify. I have been given the runaround ever since. "Can you send a screenshot of the charge? I'll have the owner Martie call you when she gets in today." Sent screenshot, no call. Couple days later, I follow up... "The owner will call you after her next appointment." No call. Again. I've texted and called many times trying to get this incorrect charge refunded to no avail. It's now clear to me that the owner has no intention of returning my phone call or fixing this fraudulent charge. I went ahead and disputed the charge with Amex who will issue a chargeback to this business (I can only imagine the chargeback rate is through the roof at this establishment). I also blocked my card from Pure Lash attempting to "mistakenly" charge another $99 fee in the future. It's truly a shame a small business owner is choosing to behave in this manner when she has some wonderful ladies working for her. My lash tech, Sade is fantastic and so talented. I'd gladly follow her to any other establishment but sadly, I can't continue to support this business nor its owner.
