The man, I believe his name is David. Poor job with nails. Uneven, and said "it is not easy" during my service when pointing out my nails were uneven and even crooked. He blamed this on my fingers. I have been having my nails done for YEARS and "crooked" fingers is a first...david also while scheduling, told me there would be no wait. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes when I had called and asked if there was a wait 5 minutes before coming in. There is also a women there who seems to never be in an eagle mail uniform who does not communicate and will get up and walk away after your service without saying a word or acknowledging your next nail/pedi service. There is ONE women there who knows what she is doing and she is so sweet. I wish I knew her name, she is usually in the front chair by check in/out. Unless you get her. Have never written a negative review before but my experience was so bad felt duty bound to warn other customers. I see a review from 2021 saying liked they did not talk in their native language. I did not experience that----talked the whole time in their native language making me feel very uncomfortable like it was directed at me. The drying apparatus for my manicure was filthy--visible dirt on top of machine. There were three employees and only one other customer but they made me wait 20 minutes in the pedicure bath because they kept switching off with all three techs doing my nails resulting in tips for three people. When the tech finished my pedicure, she put all the tools back in her station without sterilizing or cleaning any of them.Then, when I wanted to pay with a Discover card, was told no one takes Discover ( I have been using it for more than 30 years EVERYWHERE). I said I would go to a nearby bank and pay them cash. They insisted I leave my cell phone as collateral. Terrible experience - will never go back read more

Amazingly looking on Yelp, this was the highest rated nail salon around. Out of the 3 that I've walked in & out of (not clean, nasty staff) this did look the best. I didn't need an appointment, which was nice, but the service was a little rushed. However, the prices were fair and the staff friendly enough. I actually found the customers a bit on the rude side. (Just because they speak English as a 2nd language, doesn't mean you have to yell at the staff.) So, in short, if you need a quick and inexpensive mani (we got gel) or pedi, for Westminster, this has been the best so far. Enjoy! read more

While they seem loosely prepared to operate with COVID guidelines in place... my pedicure was done rough, rushed and subpar. I've been looking for a new place to have this service and had time this after since I was in the area and figured I would give them a try being they are closed to where I run errands. I'm only giving the 1 star because I have to and because the lady that did my eyebrows did an amazing job. In fact that was why I decided to give the shop a chance and get my nails done which I haven't done in almost 2yrs (seriously). I was seated at an older males nail desk and let me just say I was in there from 11-12:59 and I didn't even let him put any polish on. He did a HORRIBLE job. I asked for the coffin style which they said they could do and they charged me an extra $5 for. He took forever and 4 of my nails are completely crooked. I repeatedly asked him to fix them and granted he tried but to no avail. There are thick chunky pieces of acrylic under my nails. Please look at the photos I have listed. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone unless they wanted they're eyebrows done. read more

Not impressed. Came in here by recommendation. Took over 2 hours for a mani/pedi with the gentleman filing my already limited nails down to nothing leaving my fingers red and sore. 2 hours for a less than mediocre job. Although meticulous and taking his time areas of the gel are uneven. Will not be coming back. read more

I went here yesterday for the first time because my normal salon didn't have time available. I needed a gel fill. Let me just say when I walked in i was hesitant and should've turned around and walked out. The place is disgustingly filthy. The woman doing my fill kept filing my skin so hard. I kept pulling away because it hurt and she was giggling every time. Then she filed my skin on my pinky finger so hard that she busted my finger open I started bleeding. No apology just a giggle then she applied pressure with a paper towel. She then proceeded to keep the nail file and put it back in her drawer...the nail file she busted my finger open with and that I bled on. She sprayed the alcohol on my fingers at the end and every single one of my fingers was burning so bad! I have been getting my nails done for a long time and never experienced anything like it. My nails don't look horrible (they don't look the best either) but my fingers hurt and I'm praying I don't get an infection from their dirty salon. Never again. read more

I appreciated the fast service and I really liked the pedicures however I got a manicure here and got a full set of acrylics and was supposed to be charged $40 but they didn't do anything with my cuticles or the hangnails or anything around my nails. At nails plus just down the road they did all of that and they lotion on my hands and gave me a bottled water. The cost for them was only $25. I prefer going here for pedicures but as for manicures I will still go to nails plus. read more

He also offered good advice when it came to choosing a nail color. i booked an appointment for a dip fill-in and was told when to arrive. I made them know that I had a deadline of when I needed to be finished and they said no problem. I then arrive on time, wait 35 minutes to be told that it will be another hour. So i just lost (wasted) the one hour I have before Christmas that was free for this. I am a repeat customer who is also a very generous tipper. The business is filthy. The two technicians that did my nails were idiots. The store was not busy, one idiot placed the water bowl for my manicure in my lap while a second idiot started my pedicure. Not sure what the rush was, but can anyone else lift your feet up and down with a bowl of water in your lap without spilling it? The manicure tech then tried to set the gel light on my lap until I put a stop to that. So the pedicure idiot went about his business and put one coat of polish on some toenails, two coats on others and a top coat on others. He sent me to the manicure idiot to finish and said he would finish the top coat on my toes later. I would not let him touch me again. I sat down to complete the manicure with idiot #2 and told him that he was an idiot and he laughed and agreed. When asked if he has a license he said yes, but he didn't have it with him and neither did the pedicure idiot. When the manicure idiot collected money (that I should not have paid), I asked him if he thought he did a good job and he laughed and said he didn't know. Don't go to this place, you will probably get the sick while you are mortified by the two idiots that work there. They work at another store in Eldersburg too. If I could give zero stars I would! My friend and I made appointments so we could get our nails done together and saw decent reviews for this place...they must be really, really old! Neither of us were happy with our experience, but I'll just focus on mine. I ended up with the guy in the corner (on the left). He filed my natural nails (which were beautiful) so low that there was nothing left, so he then put tips on and made the acrylic super thick and uneven...very uneven. They were all different lengths and thicknesses, he made my cuticles bleed on several fingers, and he didn't even shape the nails the same! Some were square, some more like rectangle, and two, had been filed into sort of triangles. It was awful. Awful! Then he tried to put thick, old polish on my nails, so I asked him to remove it and use polish that isn't clumpy. I should not have had to pay for the butcher job he did to my hands. I didn't make an appointment and I didn't have to wait long which was nice.The man I went to was very patience with me because I am picky with my nails. He was friendly and it kept a great atmosphere. Not only him but most seem to be friendly. There was a fight between two technicians, which is not professional, but still didn't ruin my time. The only thing was that they didn't seem to soak the customers hands and take care of the cuticles and that was disappointing, which made the experience seem rushed. On the positive side, after I left I noticed a mistake with one of my nails and went back in (I was across the street) and even though he had another client I barely had to wait for him to fix it and he didn't complain or try to fight the mistake. The owner also seems friendly and upbeat. It was a good first impression. I would recommend this place to anyone trying to find a new salon. read more

Horrible experiences for all 3 times. First time, the guy names Tom gave me a rush and hurtful pedi. He only did the cuticle on the 2 big toes, and bleeded them so bad, AND did not touch the cuticles of the rest at all. The painting job was a joke. My nails were not cover, the color get on my cuticle. So bad. The second time, i went w my friend. My friend gotthe young girl names Jessica. She is awesome. Pick out the color quickly, did a great pedicure, fantastic painting and design job. I, on the other hand, got the girl names Sue. Ugh, so slow, hurt me badddd. I also had a gel manicure. She USE THE DRILL TO TAKE OF MY CUTICLE. I did not have any thing on my nails at that time. She drill on top of my nails, i ask her to atop, she ignore me. She actually burn me. And guess what, we were both get the same service. Jessica got my friend done way before me, no painful, no drilling, the pain job IS BETTER. The third tim, i requested Jess, she did my toes fantastic. Unfortunately, she does not do full set, an i need it for my vacation. The lady names Tina did my nails. Oh boy, she took a long time, after 2 weeks, 4 of them came off, she painted ok but the nails was too thick. But Titi was able to fix it for me nicely next time. Conclusion, get Ti or Jess.
