I started going to this salon about three months ago and had been very happy with my experiences until today. I scheduled a 10:00 AM appointment for both a fill and a pedicure. My fill took about an hour and a half, and when it was time for my pedicure, I was told my nail tech had a 12:00 PM appointment and was running behind. I was surprised because I had specifically booked time for both services. While I understand that staffing issues, no-shows, and scheduling challenges happen, I don't feel that a client should lose part of their appointment because of circumstances beyond their control. I agreed to reschedule the pedicure, paid for my services, and left. After I was already on my way home, I noticed that one of my nails had not been top coated and looked unfinished. I called the salon to let them know. My nail tech did offer for me to return later that day or come back the next day, which I appreciated. However, I had already made plans and was not in a position to drive back after having just left the salon. My total was $94, and I left a $20 tip because I believed everything had been completed correctly. My disappointment was not about the cost or being charged for a cut-down. It was about leaving without receiving the pedicure I had scheduled and discovering afterward that one of my nails was unfinished. I genuinely liked my nail tech and have enjoyed my previous visits, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Unfortunately, I left feeling rushed, overlooked, and unsatisfied. read more

This place is TERRIBLE!!! do not WASTE your money coming to this rancid nail salon. Not only do they not listen to instructions but they cannot do a basic pedicure, both me and my friend specifically asked for certain colors pointing and listing the number as labeled however both our "white" pigment turned out muddy (for mine) and gray (for hers) when asked about payment I was up charged for the service i didn't ask for (deluxe pedicure vs spa) and when asked if they could do a split payment they agreed. however charging all to my card as I did not ask for. They were constantly talking to eachother and ignoring requests not filling in the nail properly filling crooked and overall giving terrible service. I had made an 11:30 appointment for my daughter and friend to get a kid's manicure. She was so excited as this was the only thing she wanted to do on her birthday! We went to check in, a man at the desk checked for at the appointment. Then he and a woman both started looking in the appointment book. It looked like my appointment either wasn't written down or maybe skipped because we had to wait another 20min. The technicians looked uneasy while we were waiting, they kept looking at us. So we felt uncomfortable and waited outside. The girls both wanted simple lines on their nails done with a different color nail polish but both were told no because their nails are too small. I am not a professional but I have put lines on my daughter's nails myself at home so I know it's possible, but whatever... we didn't argue. They were just given nail stickers to choose from. II felt they were rushed and not done properly. The woman that did my daughter's friend was done very fast and just put on a fan and left. Never came back to check on her nails. The woman that did my daughters just put her under a uv light and had me pay. We sat there for a while and just assumed it was long enough because we were not told to stay for a specific amount of time or were never checked on again. They just quickly went on to servicing another person. Already a few hours after the appointment two of my daughter's nail stickers felloff. We found them and I was just going to try putting it back on for her, but the next day her nails and her girlfriends are either chipped, nail stickers have fallen off or the polish is gone. My daughter has gotten her nails done before and try's really hard to take care of them because she likes the way it looks. Im not sure if it was just because it was a kid's manicure but we were very disappointed. Yes a kids manicure is not as expensive as a regular but I still paid $70. My daughter's friend even said to me "I had my nails done in California and they were way better." Nails themself came out super nice. Took me in last minute, everyone was nice. The filing of the nails part was what made me do a 3 star instead of 5. I have about 4 cuts on my fingers. She rushed through this step very fast and careless. I pulled back and said ouch a few times but she kept doing it... It hurt a lot during the whole manicure because she kept putting alcohol on the cuts to clean up the manicure. I have a nail salon that normally go to, but I just happened to be in the mall and spontaneously decided to treat myself to a pedicure. Self-care turned into an hour-session of foot care by cheating on my normal nail technicians. Sorry, gals! Eagle Nails is a relatively new nail salon in Kahala Mall. Their shop is bright, clean, and organized. Like many other salons, their nail polish is displayed on wall racks. Unlike a lot of other salons, each bottle has its own place as both the bottles and each section of the rack is labeled, so that the colors go back in the order they're supposed to be. There's a check-in tablet at the front counter, which I didn't have to use because they greeted me right away and asked what kind of services I needed. They seated me immediately since there weren't any other customers waiting. There are basically three types of pedicures: Spa ($35), Deluxe ($50), and Luxury ($70) The choices start off with the basics and of course include more services with the Deluxe and Luxury pedicures and are priced accordingly. I quickly skimmed the services in each choice and chose the Deluxe Pedicure. Yen, I believe, is the name of the sweet lady who gave me a pedicure. She gave my nails a thorough cleaning and didn't rush the massage portion of my pedicure. I'm used to getting 2, maybe 3 coats of nail polish but I swear it seemed like she gave me 4 coats of polish. Ok, not sure that was necessary, but thank you, Yen! LOL They also have some type of rewards system that I didn't read carefully at the front counter because Kahala Mall isn't anywhere near my neck of the woods, and I have my normal nail spot elsewhere, so I know I won't be frequenting Eagle Nails, but if I'm in the area and need a pedicure, I'll be happy to ask Yen for another pedicure. read more

It must be a new group of ladies, I only recognized 1 but the last visit here was crazy disrespectful. The 1st woman who did my pedicure rushed through everything, got offended when I told her I only wanted regular polish. When I showed her the color sample from the basket of nails I selected she brought 2 different colors that weren't it so I kindly asked her to bring the color that matched that number & she wiped off the wrong colored polishes & through it down in the tub in between my legs. The lady who did my acrylic set was also a new person, started off impatient & irritated. I came in the afternoon as an appointment so im guessing she was tired? Applying the tip & acrylic gel was fast & rushed. Imagine my suprise when each middle finger nail broke off in less than a week. I came back yesterday to fix the 1st nail, the 2nd nail on the other hand broke today (I literally was barely putting pressure doing normal daily duties) & due to the storm couldn't come in but at this point I don't want to because even when I came yesterday to get the first nail fixed the attitude from that same lady was still the same she wanted to paint that fixed nail a different color because she wanted to rush me to finish up. Not going back there anymore the usual girls that did amazing nails from last Christmas time weren't there makes me sad. read more

I highly recommend this place to treat yourself or someone else to a spa mani or pedi. This was my first time and my decision to try here was based on Yelp reviews. It's not a huge place, but a decent size where it's not too cramped. It's clean and modern with a huge selection of nail colors galore lined up against the walls. Staff was pleasant and attentive. My mother had a luxury pedi and deluxe mani with gel since it was her special day. I went for the classic mani with gel and was pleased. (The original location is in Kaneohe Town, in the same shopping center with Times Supermarket and the new 7-Eleven on Kamehameha Highway.) Both shops have free shared parking! I've been to the original location several times and received excellent service. Service at this second location seems to be a bit lacking. I think the technician that I had wasn't very thorough with cuticle care. I didn't like the extra charge of $5 for gel polish removal. It all balanced out with the 20% off. Other than that, the shop is clean, air conditioned, and bright! The manicure and pedicure stations look organized and well equipped. The Grand Opening special discount was worth it. I'm glad that I was able to visit this new location! There's a Loyalty Program, so, if I'm in the area, I would call for an appointment again and hopefully get a better technician. I thought it was an ok service until i came home, showered, and had a closer look at my nailsSadly, i noticed that the very basic need of filing nails did not take place at this service! Recently opened right next to CPK Kahala Mall, I was excited to try Eagle Nails after seeing raving reviews for their other location. Prices for nails are on par with competitors, and the grand opening special was a deal! There are quite a few masaage chairs for pedicures inside, and everything is very clean. I like how all the polish colors have both a gel option & regular polish option, so you only have to look at one set of color samples. I got a luxury pedicure with gel polish. The nail tech took her time and was very detailed in the cuticle care and prep, which is key to long-lasting gel polish. I felt well taken care of and not rushed. It's been two weeks since my pedicure, and there are no signs of chipping yet. I'll definitely be back for a mani. I saw a few other ladies get some nice nail art done while I was there. read more
