Professional service and fairly easy to obtain an appointment. This was one of our last pampering stops before our flight back to Seattle. We didn't have reservations however the staff was able to accommodate our last minute pedicure request. We were immediately seated and provided a menu of services. We chose the Deluxe Spa Pedicure which included the paraffin wax and massage treatment. The whole process took around 40 minutes. Our nail techs took their time with each step. The foot massage and exfoliation treatment was definitely the highlight. Prices were reasonable. The deluxe pedicure cost $52 per person and definitely worth the splurge. Other things to consider if coming to Kahala Nail & Lash Spa is parking especially during the weekend. This spot does get busy and find an available spot may require a few rounds around the property. I called and was able to get the info I needed. I arrived as a walk in, less than 10 minutes after calling. My pedicure went very well. I am ticklish and the nail tech was kind and caring. I love the color I chose. I had limited time so I was unable to do a manicure so I did a cut and color only for my hands. This is where I was a little dissatisfied. The paint looked too thick with bubbles. I ended up removing the paint when I got home. Other than that I had a nice experience. read more

she did a horrible job and tried to steal my toe ring. I have pedicures one a month and my toe rings have NEVER came off. It's hard to take off. she kept playing with it, and I was like that's weird. nobody plays with it because they don't want it to come off but she kept playing with it. My first time here was after going to a nail salon near my house for a builder gel set and it was bad. I came here to have a polish change and a reshape. Cindy did an amazing job. *DO NOT* go here if you have your wedding the next day!! Will mess up your nails and make your hands sticky because they conned me using regular nail polish and mixing it with gel top and bottom coat. As soon as I asked the tech "is this regular nail polish?" She grabbed the bottle and ran to the shelf to put it back. Never said thank you or anything and swiped my $15 dollars on the table!!!!! It was crooked, white streaks all over nude (because she was mixing gels and regular polish) and I mentioned to her and ofc she does the "ionno what u talking bout" trying to gaslight me **Older tall lady who wears eyeglasses and has short hair (it was light brown slight red brown) and tattooed brows. ** she also made my fingers extremely dry from spraying acetone on my hands the entire time and then mixing it with cuticle oil at the end?? I should have stayed with MIMI nails, they are WAY better !! Vivian said they can redo color which was nice of her, but my nails are also very crooked, this was for my wedding btw as I mentioned. I just broke a nail and she was able to fix it for me on the same day. Vivian is super flexible and accommodating. When Vivian does my nails, they easily last for 4 weeks without any lifting or chipping. The only time my nail broke was today when I got it caught in a metal chair. After my dry styling at the Dry bar I knew i needed a manicure as well but just couldn't decide where and just as fate slapped me just a couple doors down is Kahala Nail & Lash...woohoo! Located in Kū'ono Marketplace right across Kahala Mall so parking is not an issue with lots of stall just steps away it was an easy decision. Peeked in and they were ready to bougie up my sad neglected nails and it was Jenny. She went right in and was great her hand massage was very much needed and was wonderful. I wanted a gel fade and it was interesting as she asked me to choose two colors one for the base and the other accented it not what is usually done for me and she added a little bit of silver as well making my nails just shine. Pros- We were able to SCHEDULE an appointment for a two pedicures EASILY the day before. When I arrived a few minutes earlier than my friend, someone checked me in and did NOT PRESSURE me to get started right away. She offered to let me wait for my friend as I leisurely selected my nail color. Salon is CLEAN and WELL VENTILATED. My technician did a good job cleaning and removing my calluses on my feet. CONS- Technician filled the water with ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER. I usually like the water at least warm so I can relax. She did not allow me to soak very long (less than 5 min) and got right to business. When she asked me what service I wanted I said "basic pedicure." She INSISTED 3-4 times to get the deluxe and I said 3-4 times "no thank you." After feeling my feet and showing her coworker my calluses she pretty much SHAMED ME into getting the deluxe pedicure. Lastly, the overall paint job was below average. Paint wasn't applied evenly and was NOT SEALED on the tip of the nail with top coat which is why the POLISH IS CHIPPED after two days. She did not wait at all between layers which is why it looks LUMPY. See pictures. Overall, I would not come back here for a $50+ pedicure that DID NOT LAST TWO DAYS. read more

I had a terrible experience getting my lashes done here. This was my second time coming in (for lashes only), so this particular appointment was only for a fill. The lash technician is not personable at all, but she also taped my eyes in a way where they couldn't fully close 100% during the procedure. Because of this, glue from the fumes entered my eyes and I got a chemical burn in both eyes. I've done my lashes many times in the past, so at first I wasn't sure what was happening until I read about other stories. At prior lash appointments (at other locations), they have you hold the fan on your eyes for a while before instructing you to open your eyes. This tech did not do that and was instructing me to open them immediately (although very painful) after she was done so she could look. By the time she eventually give me a small fan at the end, it was too late. For the price and the ease of scheduling (you can essentially get an appointment same day if needed), it's simply not worth it and not worth the potential damage to your eye. Take your time in finding out more about reputable artists who make you feel welcomed and that you'll be taken care of. This place wasn't it. read more

I came in for a $35 basic pedicure. FYI - if you pay credit card, they have no tip option, so at least come with enough cash to tip. I usually judge pedi places off of the basic level first, and this one was good, quick, and what I would expect. Nice perk was a leg scrub, a lot of places charge extra, so that was a nice touch. LOCATION: Kuono Marketplace, aka the shopping center where Kahala Mkt is. PARKING: Free, fairly easy to find a spot, large lot shared by several businesses. FACILITY: Clean, the pedi chairs have nice sheer curtains they pull between each person, so it provides more privacy. POLISHES: There is a huge selection of colors from OPI and DND. A few bottles of Zoya on the rack, I myself am a Zoya fan. SERVICE: Since I got the basic pedi, it was fairly simple. Foot soak, paint removal, nail cleaning and trimming, a nice perk was a leg scrub with warm towel rub, lotion leg massage, and finish with polish and top coat. TIME: I called ahead to make sure they had a spot for me, knocked out a basic pedi in less than 30 minutes and I was on my way! read more

The interior of the salon is clean with no lingering nail polish smell. Vivian always does a great job with my gel manicure, they last more than 4 weeks with little to no damage to the polish. Kahala Nail and Lash has been around for a while but recently changed ownership. I was a loyal customer prior to the sale and have seen extremely positive changes with the new owner/ownership. Not all the staff are new however everyone seems to be friendlier and more helpful, even the staff that was there before. The quality of the service and the products has increased as the new owner has made some changes to the different products they utilize. There is lots of parking and food places to eat either before or after your appointment. The prices are fair market value for the services provided, and today the owner was willing to stay a little later to take my appointment, which I appreciate the flexibility!
