I left disappointed with my full set manicure with gel because they use MMA monomer (the liquid used for acrylic powder) which is very toxic and harmful to your natural nails. It is the cheaper version of EMA, which is the other version that other salons use. Some salons (like this one) uses MMA that is illegal in some states due to its side effects such as increased risk of cancer, miscarriage, etc. The removal process was a nightmare. It got all sticky and my natural nails were ruined. So please learn from my mistake and to save your nails, go to another nail salon. read more

This was my 2nd and last visit. Very inconsistent. First visit was GREAT so I expected the same pedicure service today. I was so disappointed. Todays pedicure , I didn't get my foot scrubbed w that pumice stone. What the heck? Isn't that a routine service for the $30 I paid? Apparently not. Clean, nice staff, good work, with fair prices. Scheduling an appointment and then showing up for it and being sat for your service is hit or miss, but I feel many salons have that problem when walk-ins come in between. Overall I really did enjoy how kind and friendly the staff were and my pedicure is very well done and beautiful. read more

I was initially hesitant to try a brand new nail salon as I had no way of knowing if they were reputable. I should've listened to my instincts. I ended up going because they had a 20% off grand opening sale and my mom wanted to take me to get my nails done for my graduation. I'm so upset that she wasted her money there. I usually paint my nails at home or use the press-ons from Longs or Target (and get great results). I wanted to get a set of simple acrylics, not too long and in a color that would look natural as my nails grew out. I should've stuck with the press-ons. My incompetent "nail tech" immediately started off on the wrong foot by filing my nails so aggressively that I had cuts on 2 of my fingers that hurt badly when she doused my fingertips in god-knows-what kind of chemicals. She didn't seem to notice, even when I audibly said "ow." I had never previously gotten acrylics done at a salon and thus my professional manicure knowledge is limited, but I do know that your nail tech is supposed to do some kind of cuticle prep and clean off the nail dust before proceeding with the manicure--and mine did neither of those crucial steps. She then superglued on these poorly fitted plastic extension tips--half of which were too narrow for my nail beds--and slapped the acrylic dip powder on top. I don't even know where to start; they were egregiously horrendous. First, she trimmed the tips to my desired length and shape (almond), but they were noticeably uneven. They were so pointy and crooked that I had to fix them myself when I got home. The acrylic itself was also uneven--one side of my nail was about twice as thick as the other side. They were also so chunky that I struggled to pick up small objects and my fingertips were throbbing several hours later. Plus, there were hardened globs of acrylic and nail glue stuck on the underside of my nail that I had to cut/ file off at home as well. Additionally, the gel polish application on top was patchy, inconsistent, and sheer. I chose a nude pink and my "technician" only applied two uneven coats of the color and a clear topcoat. I asked if she could make it more opaque--like it was shown on the sample--but she shook her head and said it was "supposed to be see-through." Finally, sixty painful (literally painful) minutes later, the ordeal was over. It might have been just me, but the chemical smells were so pungent (through my mask!!) that I got dizzy and dozed off several times. I lost so many brain cells during that one godforsaken hour. I also didn't see them sanitize any of their tools; they just took it out from a drawer. Plus, when my manicure was done, my nail tech just shook all of my nail clippings and shit from the tiny microfiber towel into the trash can under the table. Nasty. When my mom went to the register, I also found their pricing misleading. The price list says that a full acrylic set costs $35, but they charged us $20 extra for the laughable "almond" shape and the atrocious gel polish application. I'm writing this review two weeks later, after getting them removed at a different salon (it came as no surprise that my natural nails were absolutely busted. I'm trying to grow them out again, but they're so thin and brittle that I have to keep trimming them after they chip or snag). Because my nail tech (I think her name was Kathy) did not push my cuticles back, the acrylic started to lift where they had overlapped my cuticles when my natural nails started to grow out. They got snagged on my hair, clothes, towels, etc. so many times that one nail got painfully ripped off as I was closing the refrigerator. Kathy was awfully inexperienced (I do not understand a word of Vietnamese but I could tell that she was constantly confused, uncertain, and asking her coworkers for help) and I am never coming here again. writing a follow up. finally went back to get the as they advertise "spa pedi" & took my sister in-law & friend. they said wuz ok. i had the owner. she trimmed my toe nails wuz little crooked & put on a timer for the massage (not sure if wuz da 5 min) i didn't time it. i didn't get the hand lotion as advertised. the 1st tech said wuz $8 extra for toe crystals, but again! wen i paid wuz charged $10!! something important to note. since i wuz sitting at da end i could see the wash area. i didn't see a sanitizer machine. i saw the son wash & dry the pedi instruments in da sink & grabbed a bag from da top cabinet & put the instruments in it. well take note if they end up covering that area. den u knw why!! i went back again to give the other owner who did my initial nails a 2nd chance for the acrylic nails. i showed him gradient nails he kept tryn to jus smudge white color over the blue & said it wuz ombré!?! i told him take it off jus make plain blue with crystals. gave 4 stars since he wasn't able to do wat i wanted he didn't charge for the design. since pandemic everyone increased their prices especially da pedi. but no different in da services read more
